- The brand’s cinematic new take on the traditional safety briefing takes passengers on a journey around the world
TUI have landed a new take on the classic in-flight safety film, Safety: A Global Film. The work celebrates TUI destinations, offering a highly-engaging safety briefing by reimagining it through the lens of world cinema.
Safety: A Global Film journeys with the viewer through multiple scenes, each taking inspiration from a different genre popular in, or, made famous by, a country that TUI operates to. From ancient Egyptian tombs à la Indiana Jones to Kill Bill-esque Chinese temples, the film is a bright, vivid, and colourful extravaganza of sights and sounds from around the globe.
The ambitious creative, produced by Missing Link Films and directed by the award-winning Alicia MacDonald, involved working with Bollywood choreographers, dance troupes and historical clothing experts, to create a truly authentic film that captures viewers’ attention from the beginning right through until the end.
My Grandad used to work as a sound engineer for bands, flying every weekend pretty much. He had not been abroad in 20 years before our holiday, and he said this was the only thing that changed positively. He was laughing to himself.
This is great. Saw it on board yesterday and everyone was actually paying lots of attention to it, so it works really well.
That's good to hear!! Glad everyone was enjoying it! 😍 What was your favourite part? 🎬 ^Dave
The best bit of this video is the ending where it goes back to the aeroplane
I think it is great and ingenious delivers an important message at same time as celebrating our destinations without being too cheesey. Hopefully this will encourage more passengers to listen to the safety briefings.
Glad you enjoyed it Glenne! 🥰 Hopefully you'll see it onboard soon! ^Dave
I miss the old one
flew to and from kos from gatwick on the B788 and its a very good safety video. i usually ignore them, not completely but because i have flown most twin engine aircraft but i was very keen to watch every time it played as its very unique and different from other airline. Love it tui!
Glad you liked it Charlie! 🥰 something different, right? 😁 What was your favourite part of the video? 🤗 ^Dave
@@tuiukholidays I love the way it starts with the dramatic music
I loved this. I didn't expect such high production value. I find it a much better way to deliver the flight safety video as people are more likely to pay attention, plus it frees the cabin crew to prepare quicker for takeoff.
This isn't bad but kids might not understand it. Miss the boy and his mum a lot
This is so good i love it
Anyone know the name of this actress?
Should be seen in boeing aircraft ^^
Sorry, cringe.
No me gusta
What a waste of good money ! What a rediculous script!!!
Ur opinión is like a white crayon
A big massive waste of money, we re talking of safety video, not a Film festival advert contest....
It's made like this so people would pay attention
@@rickroll5105 i understand that they tried to get the audience attention, what they manage to do is confusing the hell out of me. Also there is no proper storyline, no use of the decor, why the story with a car when this is about plane?? Why the desert when it s about the security of a plane?? I mean this is utter nonsense for a safety video! Passenger is meant to sleep while having watch the security video and this is why this is nonsense, well nobody should sleep while watching the safety instructions.... waste of money, time, and even me commenting this is a waste of time. TUI should get proper creative guys to make a real commercial instead of having the team behind this one (from my opinion). All the best.
Never listen to haters
It’s great
What a boring video 😕 I prefer Alice!
Awful awful awful 🫣🤔🤔🤔🤐🤨🤨😵💫
