It's 3AM, and I just finished binging this show. I think the cast and crew of One Day should give me money for emotional damages because I am a certified WRECK right now. Ambika and Leo were so perfectly cast in this, and I hope Netflix promotes it properly.

I read the book years ago and cried then, but I can confirm I cried ten times harder….sobbed…when I finished the series. The casting is absolute perfection.

I watched this from whatever time until 3am and my husband’s walked in looking at me crying over a Netflix show, and he can’t deal 😂! I’m awake after 3hours sleep and I’m searching Ambika and Leo’s interview about “one day” Is there a season 2 or do we just leave it at that?? I loved the chemistry the characters they played, just talent and I love Leo and the messed up emotions he goes through in the character and Ambika her supporting role as a friend and the ups and downs she goes through with life, it’s so refreshing to see something outside the same type of drama series I watch. ❤😊 loved it.

@@cordeliacuthbertI think it’s based on a book, so there’s little chance of a sequel? But maybe a prequel of the series. Maybe of the two when they were younger, before Uni?
@@sweettea735 hm but does that make much sense? The book is all about their friendship and, most importantly, their chemistry. I'm not sure if there was enough interesting material to write about their childhood/teenage years. I think that's what people liked so much about the series, that the two protagonists had such a good chemistry, no matter what state of relationship they were in. and that would be gone if a prequel was to be written.

I can't believe I was foolish enough to think this should wouldn't completely break my heart, but it did so in the most beautiful way.
I was looking for something to watch and had no idea what this series was about. I could not stop watching...14 episodes later and 5:45am. I'm still thinking about it 2 days after finishing it. What an amazing story and yet so heartbreaking at the same time. I can relate to Emma so much and I think that's why it was so emotional. I need a Dexter in my life! Love him.

idk if people will say it now that there's a new adaptation, but the movie wasn't actually very well received ! I also found myself preferring the series bc they had so much time to breathe, and we got to see so much stuff that was left out of the movie

I’m totally obsessed with the show and have watched it many times but after watching some of their interviews, I wish Emma could’ve been a little more upbeat and happy like Ambika seems to be in real life.
Yo! Why did we all finish really early in the morning? I finished by 5am and had to get ready for work immediately🤦🏽♀️. I was sad, mad, cranky.. so many emotions. I didn’t have time to watch a comedy as I normally would’ve done to give me a mood boost so I was just cranky as heck most of the day!
