I'm an old buddy, I saw their debut stage (Gfriend) and loved it, so my first image of Umji was that cute girl, still a kid in her early-mid teens, but I'm not one to infantilize her now. Their voices are all on the higher pitch, but they are so playful with it, and the production are so good at complimenting the vocals and their range. Also love how they are not afraid to try different ideas. Their songs always have this interesting, rich production that drew me into kpop but without feeling overproduced or too random. Great group! You should check out Gfriend if you havent already, its their former group, and they have a great melodic sound with similar range in voices.
Beyoncé’s choreographer Kany produced these two great routines for Maniac and Untie which is why they are so sexy and sassy. She said that it was a joy to work with them as they were so talented and with personality like angels. So humble still after 9 years of success in the Kpop industry which is why everyone who meets them in person cannot help but love them.
Wait until you find out about Gfriend (Previous Viviz group), they're known of Queen of synchronization in Kpop and known as one of the GG who always have the best vocal and harmonies in all their songs. The song is on the surface about how loving someone dearly is sometimes hard and can feel unpredictable and stormy at times but like a maniac love you still come back even stronger. But there is an underlying story line in the video which makes this so emotional Umji said. It portrays the group splitting up (like GFriend) and the pain and loneliness they then felt before they came back together and were never happier than then. Eunha is shown bored in an office reminiscing over.playing a piano (which she did in the GFriend song Sunrise) with her music career seemingly over whilst SinB looks lost and lonely by the window after she smashes the guitar. With regards to pronouncing their group name, Vee Veez is fine, although their korean name is pronounced bibiji. There are some who insist that the English name should be pronounced Vee Vee Zee but I believe Vee Veez, Vee Vee Zee or Bi Bi Ji are all valid. Member names wise, Eunha is 'Uhn Hah' (real name Jung Eunbi) Sinbi is 'Shin Bee' (real name Hwang Eunbi) Umji is 'Eom Jee' (real name Kim Yewon) Fun fact, 'Bibiji' is formed by combining the last syllables of the 2 Eunbi's with the 'Ji' from Umji.
stop complicating things, even me as a fan call them veeveez just like how it's written "viviz". we call the previous group as gee-friend too not yeojachingu unless we're mentioning them in korean. veeveez for universal pronunciation, bibiji if we're mentioning them in korean.
