yep umji went to an English pre school, it’s known in the fandom that she was born into a rich family but she didn’t grow up in the us.
sinb actually is really known for her gorgeous falsettos and it's really cool to see that she can showcase other styles of singing while also totally killing the things she's already good at. this cb has been really good for showcasing her vocals, actually all three of them did amazing vocals wise on this album!
6:34 it went from “I can’t, killin’ it” to “I’m okay with it”
The English grammar isn’t the best on this song, but imo it makes up for it by being a bop
And yeah, Umji does speak some English so her pronunciation is better

thank you for reacting to viviz! actually im not a kpop fan who listens to whole album, but stanning gfriend, viviz and the members? ABSOLUTELY YES, THE WHOLE ALBUM SLAYS! WE HAVE QUALITY MUSICS WITH THEM! even a bside could be a title track they do masterpiece every album
Beyonces choreographer made their choreo for Maniac, Its my favorite choreo of them. Eunha and Umji writed songs and even composed Mago for Gfriend. While Sinb ist mostly responsible for the choreos, she takes it really serious and makes the changes that she thinks fits better with them. They have some raps in some songs but they normally dont rap so much, the main rapper of Gfriend was Sowon, and she is working as actress and model in the moment, she was your favorite in the Mv of Mago. Viviz have great bsides, they have alot of songs in the style of Overflow, like rnb sounds. The three girls of Viviz are the ones that had the most sweet vocals in Gfriend. While Sowon, Yerin and Yuju had the most mature vocals. Yes, Umji is the best english speaking member from them. In Gfriend was she and Yuju. The others dont speak so much english. Umji was in an international school and learned english there. Is interesting what you said about the personality of Eunha, because the girls said that she is the one that always try to stay positive and cheer the other members even when she is going through a hard time, she is always trying to make them smile and see the bright side of things. Their albums are so good, the last album, Various is also so good, thersnt one song that is not that good. Alot of their songs have this retro vibe too. They are really versatile and is true, they always change their tones depending on the music. Eunha have songs that she sings really powerful and alot of low notes like in "Dont come to farewell", and in others she sings really cute, they always change depending on the vibe of the song. Yes, Eunha is the one doing the most of the adlibs and back vocals in their songs, live she also does alot of them. I would love to see you reacting to their other albums, they are all so good. I think if you liked this album you gonna love the others. They have so many interesting bsides like: Tweet tweet, Party Pop, #FLASHBACK, Love love love, Overdrive, Siesta, Fiesta, Blue Clue, Love or die, Vanilla Sugar Killer, etc.
a lot of the background adlibs are eunha but umji and sinb also contribute a lot, it's a little hard to differentiate but the trained ear (aka longtime fans, aka me) can tell the difference ;;
28:30 I’m also the most curious about Sinb’s voice 🥲 she actually has the best technique in viviz but for whatever reason probably since she’s the main dancer she hasn’t really ever been given many singing opportunities like covers and solo songs and guesting on singing shows. I feel like she has so much potential and so much to show off but she’s just never had the chance yet ;-;

Just some facts, yeah all GFRIEND members are known to be very good vocalist and all of them would be main or lead vocals in other groups. Also, about Umji, she did her kindergarten in a international school so she learned some english there, she is not fluent though, she know conversational english if that make sense. Yuju know some english too since her mom is a english teacher in Korea. Eunha is known for her cute, sweet voice tones with some very good high notes in lot of songs, but don't fool by that and her cutie personality, she can have a strong powerful voice too, not as strong as Yuju or Solar, but she definitely can belt strong high notes as she did in some of her OST.

We had a pop rock band in Kpop called Aoa Black. Is the girls of Aoa that you already reacted, before they became Aoa they was Aoa Black and kinda like each one of them played an instrument. I loved them, but they became more sucessfull with the sexy concept later
25:27 Viviz once performed bop bop on immortal songs. But yeah, in Gfriend these girls have actually appeared there several times. FYI, Gfriend is one of the groups that has the most appearances on Immortal Songs. If I'm not mistaken, they have 6 or 7 performances on Immortal Songs 2. I highly recommend to check out their immortal songs performance of the song 'Yeowooya (hey fox)' or 'Love and Remember' :)
I really love this mini album. It's a certified banger.
However, i find their Summer Vibe mini and their debut mini album to be even better.
I really enjoy their voices, the girls have such a distinctive and unique colors. Specially umji.
They usually play around different genres (Tweet tweet, Love or Die, Siesta, Love Love Love, Mirror are perfect examples of their versatility), but they have at least one retro song in their minis.
I really recommend Love Love Love, Lemonade, Tweet Tweet and #Flashback. Bangers, bangers, bangers. Glad you liked their music! Exquisite taste, Austin.

If you want to check out a K-pop girl band look up Rolling Quartz. Debuted in 2020 with Blaze. They has had release in September called fearless. They even did a cover and m/v of Dreamcatcher's Good night.

I really hope you’ll react to viviz past albums, honestly up until pull up I think their bsides have always been better than the title tracks. I can’t decide if I like versus or various more but their albums have been consistently getting better in my opinion
Umji uses more air when singing, while Sinb is more on the nasal side. For eunha, i cant really explain it but her voice is sharp with a sweet tone? 😅 these three along with yuju was the first voice i could differentiate in Gfriend. Sinb's talking voice is low while her singing is high, and hearing them use their comfortable range in untie is so good with their deeper voice

I think Sinb’s voice is the fullest until she goes up to her chest register, when she belts I think sometimes she gets lighter and Eunha instead has a fuller and chestier voice when belting
