Viviz have great bsides, they have alot of songs in the style of Overflow, like rnb sounds. The three girls of Viviz are the ones that had the most sweet vocals in Gfriend. While Sowon, Yerin and Yuju had the most mature vocals. Yes, Umji is the best english speaking member from them. In Gfriend was she and Yuju. The others dont speak so much english. Umji was in an international school and learned english there. sinb actually is really known for her gorgeous falsettos and it's really cool to see that she can showcase other styles of singing while also totally killing the things she's already good at. this cb has been really good for showcasing her vocals, actually all three of them did amazing vocals wise on this album!
a lot of the background adlibs are eunha but umji and sinb also contribute a lot, it's a little hard to differentiate but the trained ear (aka longtime fans, aka me) can tell the difference ;;

And you might love the band versions of their songs 😊 And also it would be great if you can also react to their previous albums. Their B-side songs are all great.
Just some facts, yeah all GFRIEND members are known to be very good vocalist and all of them would be main or lead vocals in other groups. Also, about Umji, she did her kindergarten in a international school so she learned some english there, she is not fluent though, she know conversational english if that make sense. Yuju know some english too since her mom is a english teacher in Korea. Eunha is known for her cute, sweet voice tones with some very good high notes in lot of songs, but don't fool by that and her cutie personality, she can have a strong powerful voice too, not as strong as Yuju or Solar, but she definitely can belt strong high notes as she did in some of her OST.
Gfriend songs had no rap. I didn't notice Viviz songs didn't as well, and i think is the right choice. Gfriend had great music, i hope you react to them again. Thanks!
We had a pop rock band in Kpop called Aoa Black. Is the girls of Aoa that you already reacted, before they became Aoa they was Aoa Black and kinda like each one of them played an instrument. I loved them, but they became more sucessfull with the sexy concept later

FYI, Gfriend is one of the groups that has the most appearances on Immortal Songs. If I'm not mistaken, they have 6 or 7 performances on Immortal Songs 2. I really love this mini album. It's a certified banger. However, i find their Summer Vibe mini and their debut mini album to be even better. I really enjoy their voices, the girls have such a distinctive and unique colors. Specially umji. They usually play around different genres (Tweet tweet, Love or Die, Siesta, Love Love Love, Mirror are perfect examples of their versatility), but they have at least one retro song in their minis. Umji uses more air when singing, while Sinb is more on the nasal side. For eunha, i cant really explain it but her voice is sharp with a sweet tone? 😅 these three along with yuju was the first voice i could differentiate in Gfriend. Sinb's talking voice is low while her singing is high, and hearing them use their comfortable range in untie is so good with their deeper voice
If you want to check out a K-pop girl band look up Rolling Quartz. Debuted in 2020 with Blaze. They has had release in September called fearless. They even did a cover and m/v of Dreamcatcher's Good night.
I really hope you’ll react to viviz past albums, honestly up until pull up I think their bsides have always been better than the title tracks. I can’t decide if I like versus or various more but their albums have been consistently getting better in my opinion
