HA...same with me. Got contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIN who wanted me to apply since I have been in IT for +25 years and they wanted someone who had heavy background in infrastructure and they would teach me AWS. So far I am in stage 3--and that makes sense they would want TAMs that have heavy background in Infra.....Totally makes sense the way you explained it, so thank you!

I recently failed also my AWS TAM interview - generic email sent after the 5 round interviews pretty exhausted and sad but well maybe I dodge a bullet actually... not impressed by our current TAM or SA mentoring my client which is a french bank here by the way. Guess the leadership principles only accounts in the beginning to be fair. Anyway, love your video, content, editing I'm impressed mate thanks a lot!

    A couple items--
One: you said you couldn't stop the assessment? Mine stated I was allowed to stop and start it, but that it was suggested to finish it once started---and how long it would be. What I DIDNT know was that it was TIMED. LOL...I walked away to take care of my special needs son and the ticker was going!
Two: With regards to the questions on assessment? What you say about strategy is about right--they are looking for how you would handle things. That is a BIG thing as Customer is number 1-
-The question you reference about prime day and the drivers are actually two different questions and they both build on each other.
One item was "Prime day is coming up- as such you need to build your team that would best help you deliver etc..." and there are 6 videos of people explaining what they do and you pick the 4 you think would be best for your team to accomplish the most on Prime day"".....
The other with regards to "Drivers" is not about finding out who is "Bad"....its starts out as this " Here are the driving schedules for the drivers and here are the specified criteria for delivery---I'm concerned about the metrics etc..."--- and it shows stats expectation of 10 packages per hour, based on so many miles and so much time etc....and then you are to determine from there who's route you are ""most concerned about""---not who is "bad".... sorry but it sounds terrible when you state they are looking for who is 'bad'
They want you to troubleshoot statistics and other items to best fix the issues that arise----Using Math and statistical understanding to decide of the routes and times of day etc...And there is no "right or wrong" answer...I believe this is very interactive---and it was actually really cool. It was one of my favorite parts of the Assessment....

yes, I was actually impressed with their questions too. Made me think quite a lot and wasn't straight forward.

the interview for this role does not include leetcode coding? only systems and system design

I had the coding round at the screening stage, after that is the series of interviews there was one round on it
The coding round was maybe 7/10 in difficulty. Just a notch below algorithmic coding.
It wasn't straight forward but also wasn't very complicated.
From what I gathered this role was more internal facing and the code you would write would be against internal Infra devices so coding is required but not like SWE level.
