    This is awesome. Do you know the tongue weight. I am trying to decide if I could tow it with a four wheeler. The aluminum double axle manufactured houses can be towed with a 4 wheeler but cost $20k. Have you ever tried moving your with a wheeler

    • @McGowanOutdoors
      @McGowanOutdoors  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Anthony Sligar when people tow the big ones with a ATV they usually use a tongue skid/dolly that takes the weight.. my tongue weight is about 200lbs, I’ve pulled it with a ATV multiple times without issues. The entire house weighs just under 3000lbs.

    Hey so I'm making an ice house. How did u do the radio and speakers? I've watched videos on everything else but can't see how you wire in the radio. Do you connect it to like a surge box when you turn it all on it'll give it power?

    • @McGowanOutdoors
      @McGowanOutdoors  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      gaming with sneer
      I have one main 12v positive and negative wire coming from the battery to the switch panel. There is a 20amp in-line fuse on that wire (the positive). Then everything else (12v lights and radio) run off of the switch panel. That way if I ever short anything it should trip that 20amp fuse first before frying it. Most radios have there own fuse built right in so your pretty safe either way. All the wiring on the radio (if it’s new) should be labeled for power, ground, speakers and so on. Just make sure you connect the “remote wire”(it’s usually yellow) to the red main power wire. The remote wire is what tell the radio to turn on or off. Hope this helps some.

    • @McGowanOutdoors
      @McGowanOutdoors  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nathan Schultz just stretched it over the 7/16 OSB, with glue, then used the termination strip around the edge. I put a 1x4 (pvc) on the top down the center to help it from turning into a balloon going down the road.

    • @NMSchultz1
      @NMSchultz1 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! Plan on finishing up the roof this weekend. I laid my tin sideways like you have here only using a normal corner so the best we way figured we could so it is have the plywood come out 1.5 inch all the way around cause thats about as far away from the walls the corners are, and we put 2x4 right below the plywood so theres a couple inch strip going all the way around for the rubber to attach too and I got a 90° piece of flashing trim that's the accent color to hide the wood.. if I worded that in any way that makes sense lol but it's got black and red tin half sheet of black ground all the way around the bottom with brite red on the rest with all black trim should look decent!
