Depends on the practice. Some clinics offer hourly rate some offer % wise or depending on UDA. Which would be more rewarding - depends on the flow of patients. If your diary is full then you may earn more on % basis , but if there are not many patients then hourly rate would be more beneficial.

You need to be GDC registered for working as a hygienist / therapist. I think Dental hygiene therapy is a 3 year degree program in UK. Please check the university websites for more info. Sorry I am afraid it is not possible to get DCP registration based on BSc degree.

You would need to do Plaque scores , bleeding scores , BPE , 6ppc including mobility and furcation involvement. Also note down any bleeding on probing. Apart from these take xrays wherever indicated
Dental Hygiene / Therapy is a separate degree program that can be done. Please google search , there are various colleges that provide this qualification.

A Dentist : Can perform all the tasks from basic to complex procedures A hygienist : mainly deals with simple hyg services and perio treatments. A therapist : does most of the treatments for children and also fillings for adults.
