I have some ideas for what probably could have made the movie better. 1.) Since they didn't have any ideas for what mom was sick with, maybe instead she could have been part of the military or something and she had to leave to fight in a war. Then June would still have something to worry about, and the movie probably would have still worked. She would still be overly obsessed with someone's well-being, she would have still lost her creativity, and her mom returning probably would have been more emotional and impactful. No "I got better," just tears and laughter and hugs. I know it's a far-out idea and a pretty dramatic change, but I still think that would have worked. 2.) Take out the chimpanzombies. They're unnecessary and dumb. The movie should be about a girl rediscovering her imagination and building a park in her head. A character driven story. Not a plot-based one. 3.) The characters need to be written better. Give them more distinct personalities. Don't just make them louder than the other. That's really all they need. Better writing.

@@DarkTalesProduction the show's humour was right up my alley so that's probably why. Honestly a better comparison may be the Jimmy Neutron movie and show
They should've just focused on June trying to reconecct with her imagination and creativity, and learning to get past her feelings about her mother being sick. That would've been a way better movie than this, and they seemed to be doing that in the beginning. 💜
This is the kind film that makes most (I'm just generalizing not criticizing or judging) people believe that animation is a genre/is just for kids, and nothing ever came out animated made more for an adult/older audience.

Not exactly a Wonder Park-type experience. I think that I have used this level twice, once for a Star Wars movie and once for Captain America: Civil War.
