@@GS_CCCThe OC quests with mat drops in Russia and Hawaii area are pretty good, because you're guaranteed at least a drop of the material(permafrost ice and shell, respectively) with high chance of getting more from the enemies. I'd like them to add more nodes with other mats since it is way better than farming the normal free nodes
I hope it's a giant animation update for a bunch of servants. Last time we got Saber and the gorgon sisters update at the same time so maybe they're streaming this one to show off the new animations to everyone
at this point them NOT giving us a massive batch of AUs will be the actually unreasaonable thing Like for god's sake, JP been severely lacking in content for half a year (1 and a half if you count how road to 7 was nothing but filler and the christmas fiasco) now with 3-week events with 1-week worth of contetn and overblown point ladders; no new AUs since tesla and even that ws the only one last year. i honest to god don't know what they could possibly have been spending so much resources on that they had to make this gigantic content drought outside of something that affects a huge scale of the game like mass AUs or like hitcount overral or making the coin system acutally good or something Of course, this is all assuming that there's ana cutal reason for this content drought outside of lasgene being lazy and incomp- eeer, i mean, a small indie company.
While you are correct that historically, NA in general likes to pretend that JP doesn't exist (I mean outside of Albert's apparent thoughts that I didn't know about, it was pretty clear from how stuff was shown off and marketed), it is worth noting that during the survey at the beginning of this year they asked players how much we knew about the JP server. I can guarantee a good 80% of players _at least_ answered something along the lines of "we follow information about it." I see no reason why they'd even bother asking about it if they weren't planning on doing something, be it a content speed-up or surprise banners or what-have-you.
I highly doubt they will speed it up because NA is just way too comfortable in that aspect. But in all honesty, I think it will be really good if they do. 2 years is a loooooooooong time, it's crazy how you can go through half of your university education and still be waiting for a servant that was released in JP. Priconne EN died due to the 3 year gap that Crunchyroll never bothered speeding up towards. FGO obviously won't fall into that category, but it's pretty insane to think how long you have to wait for new content compared to other games and their respective localization gaps.
@@kaz7690Yeah I wasn’t a university student when LB6 came out in JP, and here I am halfway through with my degree and I just recently finished LB6. Honestly scary to think about where I’ll be in life when I get to experience whatever new stuff they announce over in JP.
@@kaz7690 To be honest, I feel like it would be a practical decision on their part as well. They can probably unify their workforce a little bit more if everyone is working on the current content rather than having people work on both current content _and_ localizing old content at the same time.

My guess is they are planning to release a fix for the coin system and want NA to have that update as well. Can see a lot of people getting upset if JP gets the coin fix and NA players having to wait 2 years to get it.
Well theres already massive gameplay changes in JP that arent in na, stuff like class score, mighty chains and quick buffs change things quite a bit so i wouldnt think they would ordinarily do something like letting a coin update through immediately but not those
@@wilthewise2277well, class cores are tied to story and tbh while the mighty chain and the quick changes can wait, coins are directly tied to spending and summoning, so if they make changes to those, it would be rather necessary to send them here Asap
@@wilthewise2277coins have a real impact to the players. Quick buffs are just a cool change that won't impact the gacha choices and usability of servant, especially unlimited 4*s who suffer from having difficulty unlocking append 2, they also limited the level cap you can reach.
If they do end up cutting down on the gap between NA and JP, I hope they *don't* do what the Disgaea gacha did and make it so literally every event lead straight into the next one, making it so rolling for characters was a chaotic breakneck sprint for the first several months.
That's fair but as plushie said when you check the schedule for next year you'll see a lot of deadweeks or stuff like hunting quest or even grail fronts that don't really take much time. I think it can be done properly.
@benjaminrodolfomanri god i hope not. I think the could get away with only animating lb1, 5, 5.5, 6, 6.5, tunguska, and 7. But if they really wanted to only animate the best parts like camelot and babylonia, theyd probably only animate lb5, 6, 6.5, and 7
@@manrix6 I mean with Camelot and Babylonia, those were the only two singularities that were the most story heavy. But with the Lostbelts they’re all very good with their individual stories and could realistically be adapted into their own shows. I think r all depends on if they want to invest the resources into doing all of them or not
I don't think servants we don't know about would be spoilers, or even servants we do know about but don't have a good reason to work with. I.e. U-Olga because they have a history of doing this with characters like Castoria or Koyanskaya. I don't know about how LB7 or Ordeal Call story goes apart from vague ideas, but it seems obvious from a gacha game standpoint that U-Olga would be a servant at some point. She even had a cool and unique kit to get people interested in her.
The idea that “oh we don’t know them, so they aren’t spoilers!” is dumb. That’s maybe fine for someone like Arcruied who’s mostly just in as a cameo and hasn’t had any story stuff, but someone like U-Olga being made playable would absolutely be a large spoiler for NA. We aren’t dumb, while not everyone knows the exact story details relating to these characters, we can tell if someone is a huge spoiler or not

if you think they are gonna cut the jp anniv stream, in the NA stream description it said it will have official English Translation for JP anniv stream & game info. So They will show all that anniv info on the stream
Yeah weird ass take imo. Why would JP limit what they talk about or reveal just because a couple thousand people on NA are watching a translation?? Global has millions of players. A live stream is a drop in the bucket. They don't care what we see or don't see. It's not like the JP stream isn't easily viewable without translation. You can still SEE what is being revealed.
I definitely want to keep our Clairvoyance EX. What would be neat is if we were just 1 year behind jp instead of 2, especially with how this coming year will be really slow due to covid two years back so they could catch us up a year.
My thoughts is probably something big is gonna happen hence why NA is getting involved or NA is about to announce something that will get everyone mad but we’ll have to see hopefully it’s nothing that impacts NA I play both versions so I don’t care too much but still

I can tell 2 things right now about this. 1) I highly doubt JP aniplex give it a shit about the NA server, so I really wouldn't put any expectations in "merging the servers" or things like that. Also, I'm pretty sure they would relese a 8th spoil servant without caring about NA spoiler. 2) I think people are getting the Pekora thing waaaay bigger than it actually is. They are mostly likely just using her image for promotion, so we should get at max a special CE with her. (Although a Pekora Mystic Code would be pretty funny).
Honestly I feel like F/GO(EN) players most of the time just want something/anything to talk about hence why rumor mills like these keep appearing whenever a nothing burger gets overblown by the community.
My guess at best is an animation update that can be given to na and Jp at the same time as that can be done anytime with how fast Stheno and eurale got them. Other things could be what pekora is doing in hololive and they know she's one of the most popular streamers around Cold sweat guess. Double Nero fest to announce the extra remake again which is why they moved it on na.
yeah if they want the global audience to see this stuff its either going to have to be major game changing stuff that people will still be hyped for even with 2year wait. or they will be announcing stuff that will release on the NA server at the sometime. This seems pretty obvious as to what they're going for. Double Nero announcement could make sense tho.

It won't be servants as that would be wild and they'd need to add new mats or use extremely old ones Hopefully it's a good update for the game or rewards for both sides to get some quarts and fix some ui stuff. @@mysticpumpkin8520 first part seems copium as na wants to stay on schedule and only non servant/event content can be added early like the lb 5.5-6 mats which I said needed to happen to fix the problem lb 6 made. I could see copium in dropping the pity rate to 600-800 to make the entire fan base angry after rolling for Morgan. They always do that. System update for all the low stars to get animation updates at the same time so honako green can be happy in his old age. A ticket would be nice but I can also see this be a sf promotion or samurai/extra stuff. Nero fest did get pushed back.

I hope we don't server merge if only because I do like the Clairvoyance. I feel like knowing what's coming is underrated as a feature when weighed against getting the cool new thing now. If anything the only thing I wish they'd sync up are servant buffs because those are the things I feel the most missing as opposed to a new servant (or servants). Or it's Occam's Razor, they're just doing a synced stream with a couple of goodies thrown at NA and nothing more lol.
Besides FGO I Play Bangdream, an Idol Rhythm Gacha Game, the game had both servers, and everything was fine, I played both of them, but one day, EN Server decided to speed up things, to catch up with JP... IT DESTROYED THE EN SERVER, and probably made the delay even worse... only thing I remember before 100% dropping EN version, was having a Christmas banner ON FUCKING HALLOWEEN... And as someone who tried to move to JP fgo but couldn't get used to it, I don't want to see that tragedy again...
My GUESS is that the 8th anni servant is going to be Samurai Revenant related. That would explain why they would feel comfortable streaming to NA, since they wouldn't be able to Market a new release like this 2 years after its release.
It Might be the new Musashi from the new game that our the V-Tuber thing plays a bigger role than we think and that studio just wants more eyes on her.

Nah, no way someone dumb enough to release new JP servant and then at the same time on NA too. Especially after recent catastrophe of a banner line up. It's asking for trouble.
They aren't releasing the 8th anni servant on NA after the stream ends, there's basically no chance of that happening. It's like if they randomly decided to release super Bunyan a week from now, they're not going to do that. If they did release the 8th anni servant on NA after the stream hypothetically I could almost bet on said servant getting a rerun next anni or during NA's actual 8th anni in 2 years. Maybe included in gssr's too. We'll just have to wait and see what they do or if it's really just an official restream of the jp content because why not.
As a JP player who don't know what they're saying during JP Live streaming this would be good for me if they simultaneously stream it internationally cauz it might include some sort of subtitles in it, I mean let's accept the fact that NA Clairvoyance is inevitable after all sp it's up to you whether get spoiled or not.

Afaik FGO JP ToS does not condone outsiders on JP. With exception for the vtuber collab promo, it wouldn't make sense to me that they would stream an official translation when fans are already translating themselves.
Honestly if they were to do something like mass animation updates and send those straight to na along with some QoL I'd take that. Highly doubt clarvoiyance EX is going away(and honestly wouldnt want it to)

I like the gap between JP and NA. If the speed up, please at least 1 year gap. It helps so much with SQ planing. Going from banner to banner and thinking "this servant is good...but what whenn the next is better?!" would destroy the joy for me.
Considering how much needs to be localized, I can't see it ever being completely synced unless they want to hire more localizers. There will still be at least a few months gap.
@@thefroman555JP recently has had lots of banners so the fear of missing a character for years if you did not plan well your spending kinda vanished a bit.
They are never gonna speed it up, everyone involved in FGO has said since day 1 that the two year gap is gonna stay that way. Speeding it up would just alienate a large portion of the player base. Look at every NA version of a JP game that has tired rushing to catch up to JP, nearly all of them failed and ended up dying

I don’t think they are merging servers or speeding up. It would really ruin that impeccable timing of tying in a Tsuki remake release with next Ani and could snowball into NA players being big mad at loosing all clairvoyance and JP players mad when inevitably new content slows cause now they have to wait for NA to translate it as well. It’s be loose loose. The Pekora thing may result in a CE or a mystic code collaboration which would make the dual stream make sense. I’ve seen pity and servant coin fixes thrown around which would also make a lot of sense to do early in NA. I’ve got crackpot theories of my own like global release of Tsukihime Red Garden, Extra Record, or FGO Arcade Console edition. A big new anime project announcement for FGO. Or even a premier date/window announcement for Fate/Strange Fake’s tv anime. But my realistic boring idea of why this is, is because otherwise FGO NA users who they already know will want to follow this information, will flock to re-streamers and fan translators which can can lead to trouble in copyright town with JP broadcasts and risk false information from spreading while they can’t say a word on it for 2 years and have to hope the community self polices on information regarding important game updates. The copyright thing in particular feels right though since every viewer that could be generating a view on their stream normally is now generating a stream and thus revenue on another streamer who is not officially partnered with them. Of course the five head play here is to get all the NA players into the NA stream and then cut away to NA news about a Nero fest rerun and a preview on summer while they run with the new JP FGO news with the NA players distracted. A true hit to our clairvoyance…. But not really…
Im just gonna say that its most likely they will have some big news outside of grand order to show along with maybe as you said them addding in QOL updates and pushing them out globally. Its not unlikely going to be an announcement of say Tsukihime part 2 or maybe even some kind of remaster or rerelease of stay night with a translation or something. The system they have for global works and has been working so i very much doubt they will do anything too drastic to change how it all functions out of fear of pissing people off. For me the most likely scenario is QOL getting pushed globally and announcement that Tsukihime part 2 is getting released globally at the same time. As for story spoilers the NA side could very easily just cut and dodge around them to only show the parts relevant to global.
I think perhaps they just acknowledged that jp news are followed by many na players as well. Maybe since they also have pekora at board, they decided to stream it for everyone. I personally don’t expect them to make it “spoiler free” bec that kind of defeats the purpose of celebrating the release of another years worth of content. The anniversary servant could very much be someone like castoria or koyan though. A character that is going to be prevalent in the future basically. Or maybe it is another collab servant? Like arcuid
Honestly, if NA will hasten the events just to catch up with JP, the f2p players will suffer so much with how stingy this game gives premium currency... Imagine the weekly quest rewards is just a single pull total...
It's an interesting and somewhat exciting situation, but I've hated pretty much most of the decisions they've made in JP after last year's anniversary. I fear if this won't be another change I would find disappointing. As a fan of Pekora, I'll say that adding her to the game directly would be an example of something I would be disappointed by, but if it was just her voicing someone I wouldn't mind that. Although I don't think they're gonna do anything with her other than letting her promote the game.
People who seriously think she’s being made playable are stupid and just looking to be mad for the sake of being mad. At best she’s maybe voicing a new servant, more likely is if they’re doing anything in the game with her, it’s one of the promo CEs
@@jimperson4513Because you're not forced to roll. It's good for f2p and whales because they're giving you options. You don't have to roll even a dime if you don't want to. I just personally can't agree with complaining about being given options, when you could have the self-control to skip all the banners.
@@jimperson4513 you don't need to worry about the servant taking years to come back, next year at least you get another chance, and also you can more easily focus in your favorites. Having more banners will just give you more options to choose from. You have the same time to save and same number of sq, it is just that now you have a bigger chance of a servant you like showing up and if you fail a servant, more quickly it will show up again. Imagine that before you would get 5 ssrs in the year. Before it would be like 4 of your favorites and a random one you found kinda of cool had a banner in the year Now it will be the same but like there where 10 of you favorites had a banner, you failed 5-6 of them but had better chance of getting stuff you like. Only if you are saving pity it can be more annoying. But still only a perception thing You will not get less servants, just fail more banners in exchange of more choices.
I mean, saying that this would restrict what they can do is assuming that they were planning on doing something that would spoil NA in the first place. If they just decide to do someone completely unrelated to story, maybe a Mahoyo, FSF character, or even a complete unknown, there wouldn’t be much to spoil. I do agree about the blue ball thing though. Idk, maybe it’ll tie into info about an ani project so it will still be NA relevant.
Its unrealistic, but if they were doing something insane like migrating the game to a new 3D engine it would make sense to have NA be there for the announcement (this would also explain arcade's discontinuement)
A few possibles are something that has to do with the VN they are bringing out, Samurai Rement or Strange/Fake (God would love Archer/Avenger Heraclese).
I like clairvoyance that is not story related. It was such a pain in the ass trying to do lb6 and keep it a surprise while being in involved in fgo groups and even certain content creators. You always get exposed to a bit but it’s usually manageable. I do like knowing about new features or banners that way I can plan my savings and roadmaps. Who knows what’s going to happen
Personally I would hate the speed-up, cause there's no way I'm gonna be to do 1-2 years worth of events in an even shorter amount time than what they're usually up for
@@jadendobson9614 good point and definitely dont want this. But based on what plushie said, there seem to be many dead weeks ahead (where there are no campaigns or events at all). If they just cut these out and move up the events, then we dont lose out on any quartz or rolling opportunities or even time to complete events. Hopefully
I dont think merging the servers would really work. Either NA would lose a lot or JP would be dragged back 2 years and i cant imagine either server being ok with either option. Maybe they will speed us up a bit though I've always found it a bit odd we dont do some minor speed up stuff. I got it back with arc 1 where it was supposed to end in December cannonically but after that i feel like we really should have sped up the story chapters, at least a bit.
I would not mind if NA caught up to JP but I could see it annoying some people, so if we moved to only being 1 year behind JP I think that would be something everyone would be happy with.
My hope is that they just bring the stream to Global. Most of the players watch them and Aniplex nows this. The best thing would be that they just announce some big QoL Updates and bring them to both Servers. And a big question nobady asked: What is anout the others servers like the Korean one if they should merge the Servers?
Probably they will announce an animation for some of the lostbelts (from one to the last one released here on NA), other possibility is an global upgrade of FGO that will affect both servers (A Qol update, servants update, new motor), because it would be strange to show us something that we will get 2 years later 2 years sooner.
Think its far more likely that its just JP stream is gonna announce some other fate related content that is relevant to the NA so they gonna translate ir mainly for that that section. like the stream could show more of Fate/Samurai Remnant, a new trailer for Mahoyo movie, maybe announce a new type moon anime project and hopefully a trailer for Fate/Extra Remake + release date, which would all be things that they'd be releasing worldwide and want the NA audience to know aswell, think that makes far more sense than anything on the FGO side
My only cope with this stream is that they release something about better account binding system, god, I don't understand the reason why they never let us bind it with Google account or something similar to that.
2 years is a lot of time but they are going to burn everyone out if they try catching up. Almost everyone who I know quit the game did so because of burnout following a lotto event. Definitely will suck if we lost all our clairvoyance and this will also naturally make it worse for the f2p players too.
They arent going to merge the servers If anything they probably release some Quality of Life, and some sort of "catch up" campaign for NA kinda like how from january to april where events will most likely overlap and speed up a bit, which im all for, i like clairvoyance but I'd also like to have all those jp quality of life updates
maybe Quality of life update like Animation update including the ones on jp, maybe more buffs to servants not on NA yet , even new system? maybe a new pity system? speeding the update by another week is fine too i mean if jp server ended at some point its hard to sell na to new players
I think they don't much care about the spoiler situation. They know most NA players are aware of the JP progress and characters like u-olga. Imo their thinking could be along the lines of "people outside of jp watching this anyway, so we can as well make it easier and provide an official stream." I wouldn't read too much into it, tho personally I would love if they speed NA up.
I do wish they announced SOME SORT of speed up, i wish we were only 1 year behind instead of 2 years behind, sure it would hurt some peoples rolling plans but i think saving for a servant for longer than a year is excessive personally. Getting rid of clairvoyance would be awful though it would definitely kill the game for people.
my personal opinion why NA does that, simply because of pekopara(?) the v-tuber, so that they pick up the people on NA with her because she probably got a lot of people to play in JP, and now they are trying to attract them to NA as well and hey this i give my opinion on FGO things is what you could do more often i like that you express your opinions so much

To be honest what I expect from this is just a rebroadcasting of the stream live with translations. Nothing beyond that. Those who are interested in JP, can watch it. Those who like to pretend that JP doesn't exist can just not watch it.
That moment when your golden apple number give me more anxiety than the actual topic of the video lol Anyway just hope for the best for whatever gonna come, it might not be a big deal but the possibility of server merger does make me worried, it will be chaotic. There are alot of games that try to do that, but on a 2 years content gap? That would be intense af, tho they can actually squeezed it to 1 year if they try (excluding the seasonal events like summer and xmas)
I personally can't really spend on anything other than GSSR's because dollars are expensive here, even the 15 paid SQ for a single GSSR is like, 90 bucks? so being able to see whats coming helps me a lot, if they want to catch up i'm all for it, but i hope they don't simply rush things
While seeing future banners and having 2 years to plan my purchases is nice but also knowing that something good is 2 years away is also annoying. I think the best middle ground is a 1 year difference. When it comes to collabs I think seeing peko would be pretty funny but I highly doubt it. I don’t see them adding her a servant or costume, at best she will be a +50 exp CE. If they’re going to add a character as a costume or servant in the game then I expect something more closely related to the theme of the game or a similar universe. Seeing a vtuber as a character is a bit too extreme, they did some big changes like adding quality of life changes earlier but this would be beyond what they previously did.
As a F2P I positively agree with plushie. If it's fast forward like that all our rolling plan will useless and we are unavailable to obtain our Favourite characters. Most welcome decision is to release the Quality of life changes to Both NA and JP at the same time. Personally I don't mind they blue balling Me NA Player...😅
I think that the players who don't want to sync up more to JP just have to suck it up. Albert said multiple times that he wants the tone down the clairvoyance and they never themselves said that all banners will always line up. I think the positives vastly outweigh the negatives.
Pekora servant is very unlikely prolly a joke since every servant has always been within the nasuverse. Any case this anniv will be the most intriguing for me since na will be included.
It's very unlikely, it's probably due to the fact that Pekora is the most consistent fgo vtuber that is popular, so marketing stuff. But still, you have to consider the fact that they collabed with a vtuber company to market their anniversary (which has never happened before). So I want that anniversary stream to be the very damn important livestream of FGO history.
If I had to guess, perhaps the Anni servants is a shielder, or whatever is released in Anni will be sent to NA inmediatly Or if I put on my tinfoil hat on, maybe we are doing a dimensiona merge sh!t and now your Na account will be able to interact with your JP account now (like an actual account system)
i mean...if we could have only 1 version of the game for both NA and JP my phone storage would be grateful....but there's so much that could probably go wrong with this btw for some weird reason jp been laggy for ages like every 5 missions it's a crash and i didn't even know when it started

If they cut off all rerun events, combine certain gacha banners like new year, it is possible to speed up the timeline. May be they make event in future to allow new masters to get old stuffs in both servers. The only problem I forsee is the quality of translation. And no, please don't make any vtuber into servant.
I already went through a catchup period with azur lane and it wss fucking terrible. You cant actually keep up you're constantly doing events without downtime. That would be even WORSE here because your f2p quartz also cant keep up. And because of how much text is in each event and the events that require you to be caught up in story to participate. Fuck catchup.
I hate the 2 year gap tbh, 1 year is more than enough, arknights, blue archive, a shit ton of gacha games have only a year of difference between asian and na versions, I'd love a little speed up ngl, two years of getting blue balled is becoming too much
Bad for both players and the staff actually.... don't see any good things will come out of it - it will harm a lot of NA playerbase who like the fact to save for specific servant, means that it will harm the server itself, I heard many games did that and failed leading them to shutdown, and those game were about 1 year gap or something so imagine doing it in 2 year gap? - not that the NA staff can translate everything in a short time (according to the past stream translating lb6 alone was a hurdle for them) - that means JP have to wait on contents and that's basically a death flag for it - it's unfair in every way because not only NA will lose a lot of potential SQ gained through dailies and weeklies (even through dead weeks) but also JP will have a lot of SQ saved up compared to NA - what are they going to do about summer, xmas, Halloween stuff? Imaging releasing summer events in winter or valentine in summer... doesn't make sense at all

So in summary, there was 4 speculation: 1. JP doesnt give a care. - Showing a bunch of Qol & Story Spoiler servant and tell NA players to wait 2 years. 2. Global Update. - Adding Massive Qol & Spoiler-Free Anniv Servant to all server. 3. Server Merge. - NA will go fast on update to catch JP timeline 4. Cutted Stream. - NA can only watch part of the Livestream that was spoiler free, and then it cutted.
1. Why then encourage NA players to watch JP stream? I mean those who were interested would do this on their own. 2. I don't know about Anni servant, but QoL seems legit. It's true that NA had just its own anni, but imagine announcing some updates at that time, when JP players would need to wait nearly a month for them :D 3. It is also possible - I mean there is big anti-merge comment movement, but looking from business perspective of Lasagne players NOT having knowledge of next 2 years is much more profitable situation. But on the other hand if they wanted to merge servers then a) NA needs to catch-up a lot of events and story b) It mostly concerns NA so it rather should be announced at NA anni. 4. "Dear viewer, from now go away, because you shouldn't be here anymore" - such message would be hilarious :)

Like for god's sake, JP been severely lacking in content for half a year (1 and a half if you count how road to 7 was nothing but filler and the christmas fiasco) now with 3-week events with 1-week worth of contetn and overblown point ladders; no new AUs since tesla and even that ws the only one last year. i honest to god don't know what they could possibly have been spending so much resources on that they had to make this gigantic content drought outside of something that affects a huge scale of the game like mass AUs or like hitcount overral or making the coin system acutally good or something
Of course, this is all assuming that there's ana cutal reason for this content drought outside of lasgene being lazy and incomp- eeer, i mean, a small indie company.
While you are correct that historically, NA in general likes to pretend that JP doesn't exist (I mean outside of Albert's apparent thoughts that I didn't know about, it was pretty clear from how stuff was shown off and marketed), it is worth noting that during the survey at the beginning of this year they asked players how much we knew about the JP server.
I can guarantee a good 80% of players _at least_ answered something along the lines of "we follow information about it." I see no reason why they'd even bother asking about it if they weren't planning on doing something, be it a content speed-up or surprise banners or what-have-you.
I highly doubt they will speed it up because NA is just way too comfortable in that aspect. But in all honesty, I think it will be really good if they do. 2 years is a loooooooooong time, it's crazy how you can go through half of your university education and still be waiting for a servant that was released in JP. Priconne EN died due to the 3 year gap that Crunchyroll never bothered speeding up towards. FGO obviously won't fall into that category, but it's pretty insane to think how long you have to wait for new content compared to other games and their respective localization gaps.

Well theres already massive gameplay changes in JP that arent in na, stuff like class score, mighty chains and quick buffs change things quite a bit so i wouldnt think they would ordinarily do something like letting a coin update through immediately but not those

But with the Lostbelts they’re all very good with their individual stories and could realistically be adapted into their own shows. I don't think servants we don't know about would be spoilers, or even servants we do know about but don't have a good reason to work with. I.e. U-Olga because they have a history of doing this with characters like Castoria or Koyanskaya. I don't know about how LB7 or Ordeal Call story goes apart from vague ideas, but it seems obvious from a gacha game standpoint that U-Olga would be a servant at some point. She even had a cool and unique kit to get people interested in her.
The idea that “oh we don’t know them, so they aren’t spoilers!” is dumb. That’s maybe fine for someone like Arcruied who’s mostly just in as a cameo and hasn’t had any story stuff, but someone like U-Olga being made playable would absolutely be a large spoiler for NA. We aren’t dumb, while not everyone knows the exact story details relating to these characters, we can tell if someone is a huge spoiler or not
Also U-Olga already appeared in LB5.2, so it would not be that much of a spoiler for NA if they decided to make her an Anniversary servant

Yeah weird ass take imo. Why would JP limit what they talk about or reveal just because a couple thousand people on NA are watching a translation?? Global has millions of players. A live stream is a drop in the bucket. They don't care what we see or don't see. It's not like the JP stream isn't easily viewable without translation. You can still SEE what is being revealed.

1) I highly doubt JP aniplex give it a shit about the NA server, so I really wouldn't put any expectations in "merging the servers" or things like that. Also, I'm pretty sure they would relese a 8th spoil servant without caring about NA spoiler.
2) I think people are getting the Pekora thing waaaay bigger than it actually is. They are mostly likely just using her image for promotion, so we should get at max a special CE with her. (Although a Pekora Mystic Code would be pretty funny).

Besides FGO I Play Bangdream, an Idol Rhythm Gacha Game, the game had both servers, and everything was fine, I played both of them, but one day, EN Server decided to speed up things, to catch up with JP... IT DESTROYED THE EN SERVER, and probably made the delay even worse... only thing I remember before 100% dropping EN version, was having a Christmas banner ON FUCKING HALLOWEEN...
And as someone who tried to move to JP fgo but couldn't get used to it, I don't want to see that tragedy again...
My GUESS is that the 8th anni servant is going to be Samurai Revenant related. That would explain why they would feel comfortable streaming to NA, since they wouldn't be able to Market a new release like this 2 years after its release.

It's like if they randomly decided to release super Bunyan a week from now, they're not going to do that. If they did release the 8th anni servant on NA after the stream hypothetically I could almost bet on said servant getting a rerun next anni or during NA's actual 8th anni in 2 years. Maybe included in gssr's too. We'll just have to wait and see what they do or if it's really just an official restream of the jp content because why not.
As a JP player who don't know what they're saying during JP Live streaming this would be good for me if they simultaneously stream it internationally cauz it might include some sort of subtitles in it, I mean let's accept the fact that NA Clairvoyance is inevitable after all sp it's up to you whether get spoiled or not.

Afaik FGO JP ToS does not condone outsiders on JP. With exception for the vtuber collab promo, it wouldn't make sense to me that they would stream an official translation when fans are already translating themselves.

I like the gap between JP and NA. If the speed up, please at least 1 year gap. It helps so much with SQ planing. Going from banner to banner and thinking "this servant is good...but what whenn the next is better?!" would destroy the joy for me.
To be fair they would want to destroy that gap because we can save and skip banners and that harms their ability to make money
Considering how much needs to be localized, I can't see it ever being completely synced unless they want to hire more localizers. There will still be at least a few months gap.

They are never gonna speed it up, everyone involved in FGO has said since day 1 that the two year gap is gonna stay that way. Speeding it up would just alienate a large portion of the player base. I don’t think they are merging servers or speeding up. It would really ruin that impeccable timing of tying in a Tsuki remake release with next Ani and could snowball into NA players being big mad at loosing all clairvoyance and JP players mad when inevitably new content slows cause now they have to wait for NA to translate it as well. It’s be loose loose.
The Pekora thing may result in a CE or a mystic code collaboration which would make the dual stream make sense.
I’ve seen pity and servant coin fixes thrown around which would also make a lot of sense to do early in NA.
I’ve got crackpot theories of my own like global release of Tsukihime Red Garden, Extra Record, or FGO Arcade Console edition. A big new anime project announcement for FGO. Or even a premier date/window announcement for Fate/Strange Fake’s tv anime.
But my realistic boring idea of why this is, is because otherwise FGO NA users who they already know will want to follow this information, will flock to re-streamers and fan translators which can can lead to trouble in copyright town with JP broadcasts and risk false information from spreading while they can’t say a word on it for 2 years and have to hope the community self polices on information regarding important game updates. The copyright thing in particular feels right though since every viewer that could be generating a view on their stream normally is now generating a stream and thus revenue on another streamer who is not officially partnered with them.
Of course the five head play here is to get all the NA players into the NA stream and then cut away to NA news about a Nero fest rerun and a preview on summer while they run with the new JP FGO news with the NA players distracted. A true hit to our clairvoyance…. But not really…

Im just gonna say that its most likely they will have some big news outside of grand order to show along with maybe as you said them addding in QOL updates and pushing them out globally. Its not unlikely going to be an announcement of say Tsukihime part 2 or maybe even some kind of remaster or rerelease of stay night with a translation or something. The system they have for global works and has been working so i very much doubt they will do anything too drastic to change how it all functions out of fear of pissing people off. For me the most likely scenario is QOL getting pushed globally and announcement that Tsukihime part 2 is getting released globally at the same time. As for story spoilers the NA side could very easily just cut and dodge around them to only show the parts relevant to global.
When this video came out, it got me both hyped and worried. But now post-8th anniv stream, I hope we can relax with our speculations in the future.

It's an interesting and somewhat exciting situation, but I've hated pretty much most of the decisions they've made in JP after last year's anniversary. I fear if this won't be another change I would find disappointing.
As a fan of Pekora, I'll say that adding her to the game directly would be an example of something I would be disappointed by, but if it was just her voicing someone I wouldn't mind that. Although I don't think they're gonna do anything with her other than letting her promote the game.

You have the same time to save and same number of sq, it is just that now you have a bigger chance of a servant you like showing up and if you fail a servant, more quickly it will show up again.
Imagine that before you would get 5 ssrs in the year.
Before it would be like 4 of your favorites and a random one you found kinda of cool had a banner in the year
Now it will be the same but like there where 10 of you favorites had a banner, you failed 5-6 of them but had better chance of getting stuff you like.
Only if you are saving pity it can be more annoying. But still only a perception thing
You will not get less servants, just fail more banners in exchange of more choices.
I mean, saying that this would restrict what they can do is assuming that they were planning on doing something that would spoil NA in the first place. If they just decide to do someone completely unrelated to story, maybe a Mahoyo, FSF character, or even a complete unknown, there wouldn’t be much to spoil.
I do agree about the blue ball thing though. Idk, maybe it’ll tie into info about an ani project so it will still be NA relevant.
Its unrealistic, but if they were doing something insane like migrating the game to a new 3D engine it would make sense to have NA be there for the announcement (this would also explain arcade's discontinuement)
A few possibles are something that has to do with the VN they are bringing out, Samurai Rement or Strange/Fake (God would love Archer/Avenger Heraclese).
I like clairvoyance that is not story related. It was such a pain in the ass trying to do lb6 and keep it a surprise while being in involved in fgo groups and even certain content creators. You always get exposed to a bit but it’s usually manageable.
I do like knowing about new features or banners that way I can plan my savings and roadmaps. Who knows what’s going to happen

Personally I would hate the speed-up, cause there's no way I'm gonna be to do 1-2 years worth of events in an even shorter amount time than what they're usually up for
Not to mention speeding up content would mean you get less free quartz and more banners, which I doubt would fly with people.

If they just cut these out and move up the events, then we dont lose out on any quartz or rolling opportunities or even time to complete events. Hopefully
The only thing I could think that they might give both NA and JP is a special CE with Pekora in it.
I dont think merging the servers would really work. Either NA would lose a lot or JP would be dragged back 2 years and i cant imagine either server being ok with either option. Maybe they will speed us up a bit though I've always found it a bit odd we dont do some minor speed up stuff. I got it back with arc 1 where it was supposed to end in December cannonically but after that i feel like we really should have sped up the story chapters, at least a bit.
I would not mind if NA caught up to JP but I could see it annoying some people, so if we moved to only being 1 year behind JP I think that would be something everyone would be happy with.
I don't really think Albert hates clairvoyance, I think it was probably he just legally wasn't allowed to talk about it, until now that is.

My hope is that they just bring the stream to Global. Most of the players watch them and Aniplex nows this. The best thing would be that they just announce some big QoL Updates and bring them to both Servers.
And a big question nobady asked: What is anout the others servers like the Korean one if they should merge the Servers?
Probably they will announce an animation for some of the lostbelts (from one to the last one released here on NA), other possibility is an global upgrade of FGO that will affect both servers (A Qol update, servants update, new motor), because it would be strange to show us something that we will get 2 years later 2 years sooner.
Think its far more likely that its just JP stream is gonna announce some other fate related content that is relevant to the NA so they gonna translate ir mainly for that that section. like the stream could show more of Fate/Samurai Remnant, a new trailer for Mahoyo movie, maybe announce a new type moon anime project and hopefully a trailer for Fate/Extra Remake + release date, which would all be things that they'd be releasing worldwide and want the NA audience to know aswell, think that makes far more sense than anything on the FGO side

My only cope with this stream is that they release something about better account binding system, god, I don't understand the reason why they never let us bind it with Google account or something similar to that.
2 years is a lot of time but they are going to burn everyone out if they try catching up. Almost everyone who I know quit the game did so because of burnout following a lotto event. Definitely will suck if we lost all our clairvoyance and this will also naturally make it worse for the f2p players too.

If anything they probably release some Quality of Life, and some sort of "catch up" campaign for NA kinda like how from january to april where events will most likely overlap and speed up a bit, which im all for, i like clairvoyance but I'd also like to have all those jp quality of life updates

I think they don't much care about the spoiler situation. They know most NA players are aware of the JP progress and characters like u-olga. Imo their thinking could be along the lines of "people outside of jp watching this anyway, so we can as well make it easier and provide an official stream." I wouldn't read too much into it, tho personally I would love if they speed NA up.

I do wish they announced SOME SORT of speed up, i wish we were only 1 year behind instead of 2 years behind, sure it would hurt some peoples rolling plans but i think saving for a servant for longer than a year is excessive personally. Getting rid of clairvoyance would be awful though it would definitely kill the game for people.

my personal opinion why NA does that, simply because of pekopara(?) the v-tuber, so that they pick up the people on NA with her because she probably got a lot of people to play in JP, and now they are trying to attract them to NA as well

To be honest what I expect from this is just a rebroadcasting of the stream live with translations. Nothing beyond that. Those who are interested in JP, can watch it. Those who like to pretend that JP doesn't exist can just not watch it.
I just hope it's an anime adaptation of some Singularity, Pseudo Singularity or Lostbelt!

I personally can't really spend on anything other than GSSR's because dollars are expensive here, even the 15 paid SQ for a single GSSR is like, 90 bucks? so being able to see whats coming helps me a lot, if they want to catch up i'm all for it, but i hope they don't simply rush things

While seeing future banners and having 2 years to plan my purchases is nice but also knowing that something good is 2 years away is also annoying. I think the best middle ground is a 1 year difference. When it comes to collabs I think seeing peko would be pretty funny but I highly doubt it. I don’t see them adding her a servant or costume, at best she will be a +50 exp CE. If they’re going to add a character as a costume or servant in the game then I expect something more closely related to the theme of the game or a similar universe. Seeing a vtuber as a character is a bit too extreme, they did some big changes like adding quality of life changes earlier but this would be beyond what they previously did.
As a F2P I positively agree with plushie. If it's fast forward like that all our rolling plan will useless and we are unavailable to obtain our Favourite characters. Most welcome decision is to release the Quality of life changes to Both NA and JP at the same time. Personally I don't mind they blue balling Me NA Player...😅
I think that the players who don't want to sync up more to JP just have to suck it up. Albert said multiple times that he wants the tone down the clairvoyance and they never themselves said that all banners will always line up. I think the positives vastly outweigh the negatives.
Pekora servant is very unlikely prolly a joke since every servant has always been within the nasuverse. Any case this anniv will be the most intriguing for me since na will be included.
A free pekora servant could happen if the event is linked to CCC.
As anniversary unit unlikely
It's very unlikely, it's probably due to the fact that Pekora is the most consistent fgo vtuber that is popular, so marketing stuff. But still, you have to consider the fact that they collabed with a vtuber company to market their anniversary (which has never happened before). So I want that anniversary stream to be the very damn important livestream of FGO history.
If I had to guess, perhaps the Anni servants is a shielder, or whatever is released in Anni will be sent to NA inmediatly
Or if I put on my tinfoil hat on, maybe we are doing a dimensiona merge sh!t and now your Na account will be able to interact with your JP account now (like an actual account system)

If they cut off all rerun events, combine certain gacha banners like new year, it is possible to speed up the timeline. May be they make event in future to allow new masters to get old stuffs in both servers. The only problem I forsee is the quality of translation. And no, please don't make any vtuber into servant.

I already went through a catchup period with azur lane and it wss fucking terrible. You cant actually keep up you're constantly doing events without downtime.
That would be even WORSE here because your f2p quartz also cant keep up. And because of how much text is in each event and the events that require you to be caught up in story to participate.

I hate the 2 year gap tbh, 1 year is more than enough, arknights, blue archive, a shit ton of gacha games have only a year of difference between asian and na versions, I'd love a little speed up ngl, two years of getting blue balled is becoming too much
Having the same content and progression for global and JP would be good, so that it doesn't cause disparity when fgo eventually ends.
Bad for both players and the staff actually.... don't see any good things will come out of it
- it will harm a lot of NA playerbase who like the fact to save for specific servant, means that it will harm the server itself, I heard many games did that and failed leading them to shutdown, and those game were about 1 year gap or something so imagine doing it in 2 year gap?
- not that the NA staff can translate everything in a short time (according to the past stream translating lb6 alone was a hurdle for them)
- that means JP have to wait on contents and that's basically a death flag for it
- it's unfair in every way because not only NA will lose a lot of potential SQ gained through dailies and weeklies (even through dead weeks) but also JP will have a lot of SQ saved up compared to NA
- what are they going to do about summer, xmas, Halloween stuff? Imaging releasing summer events in winter or valentine in summer... doesn't make sense at all

It just seems to me like they want to milk the game as much as possible, which was cemented further after LB7. Your points are valid but i feel like it doesn't really matter anymore, to me at least.

So in summary, there was 4 speculation:
1. JP doesnt give a care.
- Showing a bunch of Qol & Story Spoiler servant and tell NA players to wait 2 years.
2. Global Update.
- Adding Massive Qol & Spoiler-Free Anniv Servant to all server.
3. Server Merge.
- NA will go fast on update to catch JP timeline
4. Cutted Stream.
- NA can only watch part of the Livestream that was spoiler free, and then it cutted.
1. Why then encourage NA players to watch JP stream? I mean those who were interested would do this on their own.
2. I don't know about Anni servant, but QoL seems legit. It's true that NA had just its own anni, but imagine announcing some updates at that time, when JP players would need to wait nearly a month for them :D
3. It is also possible - I mean there is big anti-merge comment movement, but looking from business perspective of Lasagne players NOT having knowledge of next 2 years is much more profitable situation. But on the other hand if they wanted to merge servers then
a) NA needs to catch-up a lot of events and story
b) It mostly concerns NA so it rather should be announced at NA anni.
