Excellent - I've used Illustrator since v3, and never knew about the shift-click darken/brighten in the colour palette. Or the Edit Color/Blend thingy either. Thanks for this!
I'd like to also mention the ability to add a swatch group from multiple selected objects/paths by having the objects selected and clicking the "New Color Group" button. If there are multiple objects with the same color, the color will only be added once to the color group. Nice in combination with the vector tracing (auto-color mode) of a bitmap image.
Wow, the blend option is amazing! I’ve used illustrator for years and never knew that one. I did know about shift+click to alter the colours and move all the sliders together, but only discovered that recently by accident
This is very useful, since you can optimize both the forms of learning and personal development in your work or free designs. In my case, I can schedule each tip in my own notebook and refer to it every time I need a design guide or to make a presentation. Thanks Satori!
But how would i add these blended colours (i blended the two shades) into that Swatches menu? Next to the others, like i had managed to already but don't know how..
How can you use the eyedropper tool on shape fill colors and changing the color of strokes? I could never figure that out. It's also hard to select a color from one thing to another, only if they had the eye dropper tool in the color choosing menu. (The gradient color menu could really use that haha)
Hi!! Thanks for your videos. SO much helpful content. Can you tell me if there is a way to target or only select objects by their color? Say I had a graphic that had 30 colors and wanted to select and delete the objects that use pink for example. Know a way??
Awesome video.. i dindnt know the tips where u told shift + click.. Also i did know about the global color swatch but i did not know that if we change the color in global swatch, all the areas where we used that particular global color, all the areas change the color... Its amazing... thank u....😊
If your eyedropper does not select the colour from the raster image: Double click your eyedropper tool in the tool menu to bring up your tool prefs; change sample size to 5X5 pixels. This function does not work with "point sample"
Great video! Question: RGB color code in PS - when entered into Ai - is not appearing the same at all. More dull. Both are working in RGB. I cannot figure this out for the life of me. Thanks!
Hey so I love your videos and I've recently subscribed to your channel. You provide amazing info and for that I will stay subscribed and continue watching. However, I wanted to give you some feedback. I noticed you do a lot of sponsored ads in the beginning of your video, I would highly encourage you to add them at the end or try to work them into your content, because by the time you are finished with it, I've already tuned out and am not paying attention (even though I clicked on the video because I really wanted to hear about a certain topic). I usually have to force myself to pay attention after that, but it takes me a while to snap back into focus. Hope this improves your retention rates! 'Cause you've got amazing content. P.S. when will you be opening your membership back up?
I like lots of your content but your voice is not convincing. I suggest you might wanna lower and deepen your voice in your future videos for a convincing effect.
