- Cut the following:
Rim Fabric 2 1/4 x 12 1/2 cut 4
Rim interfacing 2 x 12 1/4 cut 2
Handles- 2 x 12 cut 4
Handle interfacing - 1 3/4 x 11 3/4 cut 2
Tote and lining fabric 9 x 12 1/2 cut 2 for outside fabric and 2 for the lining
Tote and lining interfacing 18 x 12 1/2 cut 2
Cover 9 x 12 1/2 cut 2
This tutorial may have been 4 years ago, but I sat through the entire teaching process and now plan to make a few for Christmas gifts. Thank you for sharing these darling little lunch totes.

I came by this by pure chance. It is easy to follow and I did all the way through to the end. I added bias binding to cover my raw edges because I’m not good at straight stitching. Thank you from me in the UK.

You've made a beautiful bag. You've explained it very well for beginners. Your colors match so well. I've been sewing since I was four and I'm 67 now. I've taught a lot of people how to sew. It makes me feel good when someone brings something over to show me. It's an accomplishment for me and for them. Your doing a wonderful job ❤️

The down feature is where the needle will end up -down when you take your foot off the pedal

Yay! Thank you for the perfect solution to cover those raw edges. I use these drawstring bags for my knitting projects. I prefer the drawstring instead of zippers.

I glad you show us with two pieces for the outer bag because I like to use directional prints and I can make it so the print is the right way on both sides instead of having one upside down

Don't be sorry about the length of your videos, I love your sewing videos. I am that person to where if I see what your doing I understand it so much more. I have always been interested in sewing (never been very good at it). But I do try. Made your bowl koozie's this Christmas for family and friends ( they were not near as good as your's- but they weren't terrible). They were a big hit.. Said all that to say,,yes stayed till the end..and I would love ( and appreciate ) more sewing videos. I do craft's,,never did paper crafts until I discovered your channel. I'm 54 and can not work anymore,plus old arthur is trying to take over my hands. I really enjoy you and what you bring to you tube,,and for what you do for me. Stay wonderful,,God Bless.

Thank you for this fantastic tutorial. I just finished my little lunch tote bag a few minutes ago! I was so excited, I couldn't wait until the next day and pulled an all nighter. I just didn't want to stop! After making this once, I can see how a proficient sewer could pump one out in about 45 minutes to an hour. This would be a really cute themed gift for friends and family.
Now I have a crazy cute galaxy lunch bag, but I can't wait to make more. Cartoon sharks and Dinosaurs here I come!

I just made two of these lunch totes and I love it! so glad I was able to do this and not only was it so much to do but a lot of compliments on the bag! :) I find that the inside lining doesn't need interfacing. I feel that the outside is enough for it to stand. I also changed the strap to a belt strap... but overall so great! thank you so much
