E' così che Carlos Tavares vuole sistemare i conti di Stellantis? Risparmiando sulla sicurezza (nostra) per abbassare i costi? Per quanto mi riguarda possono ammuffire nei piazzali!
Even if Im agree that stellentis is not making great cars, the sales number are going up to the roof. So yes Tavares deserves a raise, completely, after the amount is debatable...
@@baywesty sales? Sales aren't, at least in europe. Profit and margin are. But profits... you may have it increasing by massive laidoffs or by the most ordinary way - selling the fixed assets. See how much stuff was sold by stellantis by that time. It looks good in short period. But in long term it looks like silent liquidation.
@@baywesty well im not spreading fake news. Just giving my opinion. We are just debating about effects of cost cutting strategy. And other remedies like putting lipstick on a pig and renaming faulty puretech engine. Why would CEO go to usa on business meeting on vacation when everyfing is so great? Look at Dacia And Renault they have more share in example poland than gagillion Tavares brands i.e in Poland I see a lot of australs on the Road
You're talking non sense. Look where fca and psa were and where is stellantis now. Tavares made Opel Vauxhall profitable, something that GM failed constantly. Puretech or not. Tavares sees much far than your limited vision of what is needed in term of investment and management. And it works. Yes the Puretech is a piece of shit, on the end of the 3rd or 4th buyer of the vehicle. Manufacture are selling most of their cars through leasing with buying options, most of the people are choosing to go for the next model. This is a reality and the crowded concurrence as well comfort the manufacturers in this business model.
Because there is absolutely no benefit for doing so. If wearing a seatbelt, a rear passenger isn't going to impact the seat in front of them, so an airbag would do nothing to improve safety. If not wearing a seatbelt, an airbag isn't going to help. A number of manufacturers have done studies around this and found rear frontal airbags had no effect on safety at all, whereas frontal airbags prevent you hitting a very hard steering wheel or dashboard while the front end can be deformed and in extreme cases, the dash can be pushed further into your survival space. The rear doesn't have that concern so isn't a concern.
@@MigV40 They must have lost their minds then ha. Over the years Volvo, Saab, Volkswagen Group, GM, Mercedes/Daimler Benz and BMW did studies on them and found them to be ineffective. I did a thesis on airbag technology a few years ago and the studies into their functionality was pretty much 'Not worth the effort as they are fixing a problem that doesn't exist'. I imagine if BMW is doing it now, it's for marketing and won't make any practical difference in safety.

In my opinion, the Jeep brand has produced a vehicle as if it wants to say ‘don't leave all the control to me, you intervene in the rest’, I think the systems that intervene so much in the vehicle do not seem safe to me, it is enough for me to have front and rear parking sensors and a vehicle following distance warning system with a lane keeping system that only warns audibly, the others are extremely unnecessary, I would not want my vehicle to be intervened so much by a computer.
Crazy how the crash avoidance systems are basically useless 😅
Depends on manufacturer

L'auto più venduta del gruppo Stellantis è proprio quella più insicura. Tavares ha semplicemente scoperto l'acqua calda 😂

No suprise. Stellantis is now making money, not cars. And give Tavares a 100000€ raise because "he deserves it"

Basic car. With a Citroen platform, it couldn't be any different. Regrettable.
Tofu car of the year
Esse carro no BR, por menos de 100 mil reais na versão de entrada, faria um sucesso absurdo.
Basicly even before tests i know that Chines will get 5 stars and Stelantis 2-3 stars,Times have changed
Doesn't look like bad in passive safety
It is good for adult passengers. But bad for children ont he back seat in lateral impact.
