    I loved the Morton Downey Jr show. I really did I watched it on channel 9 as a kid religiously. But watching it now no point gets finalized or concluded, lol.

    I was in the hospital when I watched the episode, 14. This episode was so raw....Loved this whole show. 14 year olds liking this kinda show...

      I think I was 18 when this aired. To me, especially where I lived, it was just crazy to see these bands on TV. Loved it.

    Man definitely paved the way for Donahue, Sally, Oprah, Geraldo, even Arsenio. I so wish shows like this would make a comeback.. as inflammatory as Morton seemed, he was definitely very liberal, and very open to social issues. We need open forums like this, instead of social media flame wars.

    There were some black members of harder bands like Suicidal Tendencies and others. Now there is body count and many other African Americans that enjoy heavy metal. Just because you don't see a black person in a band does not mean they don't enjoy the music.
