I’ve found that in this game, if you get ganked by another group you usually want to just commit to finishing off what you’re fighting and turn and fight the other group if you win Pulling back from fights is way more harmful than it’s worth Also you can take on bigger groups than you initially think using the surround strategy
Yeah, committing is the key it seems and it goes against your nature of wanting to be defensive when you get ganked, that’s why I think DF is having trouble
This. Every time DF was fighting a mob and then ran away when there were only one or two left was maddening. Those ones and twos seem to despawn or mob into other groups, which is why there were unusable corpses left lying around. The best strategy I found was to stick to the middle, aggressively fight everything that's at all smaller than you, and soon you can pretty much absorb the damage from anything that walks in. The big guys in the bottom left take some kiting to aggro one enough to come out of the stone circle. Fighting any number of them inside their circle is disastrous.
I've never played this game but just by watching for 10 minutes it felt like he hurt himself so much by bringing enemy golems low hp just to pull back at the last moment, ngl kinda infuriating sometimes

@@pokerusfreak8194 dont even need to make hard decisions. I just downloaded the game and got bored from being too big cause I just held the left click towards the enemy
The way that I remember to win at this game is to play dumb. Don't overthink anything. If you outnumber them, fight them. If you are higher level than them, fight them. If you are already fighting, keep fighting. Never leave any survivors. You'll still lose a bunch, but you'll snowball much more frequently. Also, all the armies move at slightly different timings, so if you see one guy alone, look around to see if any other people turn at the same time.
What if they had hybrid enemies, which combined attacks, smart enemies, who try to dodge and attack strategically, mutiny enemies, who are necromanced people that break free of your army to fight, usually the older ones, raging enemies, who are extra angry that their friends are being used to kill them, and key enemies which can give you items to take down something like a drawbridge or other defense with a new set of buildings too. Also, enemy necromancers and illusion enemies who make you not sure which one to take down, disappearing and appearing somewhere else so you can’t just spam it down once you get past the illusion. In your army, they would simulate this by going to a far away part of your army. Just a few ideas I had.
Oh yeah, also shield giants you have to go around because he doesn’t turn as fast and flying units that you can bring down by hitting the wings. Also enemies boring in the ground that you have to bait to come out so you can surround them. Also, new water with units that are basically the mages and boring enemies, but more powerful and you walk through it slow. However there would only be like 3 water pools to balance it.
Finally I was thinking of an enemy that would break apart when you hit it and try to crush your army with its pieces, an enemy that can throw the rocks around the arena, like golems and big golems could throw smaller rocks, but bigger rocks would need to be thrown by something else entirely. Also enemies that throw flame which ironically has splash damage in armies when damage is taken.
Hint: you can fight an army, and when you are fighting another one joins, not that big, don't retreat, when you defeat the first army you can necromance. Another hint: Why are you running?

The giant golems I have gained into my armies on one or two occasions. The trick is to go after them before they start to file in as they seem to come in and migrate there every so often. They tend to be a high power unit you can gain if you take the risk early on.
I remember i grinded hours of the game to spawn all the big golems, i think i had 5 maybe 4 with me in the end, was time wasted but i enjoyed that day in the moment, still all died in the end but at least i tried it when i had free time to waste

Or maybe he just let them clump up because he play not that aggresively when he about to finish an army then another army came up instead of killing the remaining army he ran away thats my theory at least
A lot of people are making false claims about bugs here, but the reason there are so many big golems is because he's been playing for a long time. Only one big golem spawns at the start, but eventually more spawn as time passes. The easiest way to attack one in a big group is to send a small amount of your troops over to the golem, putting it into "attack mode". In attack mode, the big golem will walk toward your army, so you can lure it away from the other golems and then surround it to kill it. By far the easiest way to get golems, however, is to go for them earlier. When there are 3 or 4 big golems its quite easy to lure one away, but where 7 are bunched up in their corner, you can't guarantee that you won't accidentally attack 2 or more big golems by accident.
You should have attack and protected your liches at all cost, after gaining multiple of them, you can just sacrifice a few mele-units while your liches blasted them from afar. Repeat the process to deal massive damage while receiving a few damage only. Lich economy is very important!!!
Feels like that's why he's not gaining anything late, swarming AOE golems seems unnecessary when you can just kill them with liches while sacrificing as few melee unit as possible

The problem with those giant golems is your army takes so much time just to surround one that most of your army dies without even dealing damage to it. Another problem is even if you do get it, the golem is at best 50% as effective because the enemy never surrounds your golem for it to deal max dps. Another issue is your army pushes your golem forward, giving your golem less time to recharge before it gets hit by the enemy. Tldr: big golems are a scam. You essentially have to trade your whole army to kill one. Once you do get one, they suck at battle.
The main thing to remember is that your units don't heal. If your golem helps you win a fight... expect it to die next fight. Also Reapers > Golems imo
This is a great concept for a game and is very fun, but I do wish the dev had put out the project files for download so I could fix the key issues. For example: Every time you get a big army you lose.
Oh I didn't know we could tell you when you do it wrong. In that case.....you really need to revisit mini motorways (where segregation is progress) and ratropolis (pick the architect if you want the most gold). Haha love your videos.
You already know this, but, in this game, you have to be constantly moving/fighting, try to get a lot of armies in the beginning and don't let the middle swarm. The big golem can be defeated with a bunch of level 3 and some reapers, he is sometimes easier than the small golem but you have to go for him before another one spawn.
I think DF might put too much faith in the Golems and not enough in the Reapers. Not to mention him walking the Reapers right into a swarm of T3 Knights is painful to watch.
Played this game after the first video, never had an issue with enemies grouping up in the middle, you just need to be constantly attacking groups of units, you make a big army very quicky and its pretty easy, got the biggest golems and was able to kill anything after a little bit and got bored.
@@HollowAsmodeus Are you serious right now? Did you not watch the video cause it showed the game title on the home screen? Or listen to him say the name? The squires are best in numbers, but because of how weak they are due to the stronger enemies later on, they're almost miniscule in terms of brute strength. But then the knights, elites and mages are incredibly powerful. I find the mages are the best due to their ranged attack and how squishy they are. The pebbles are kinda good, their AOE attacks are nice but the boulders are the best melee fighter, with their tankiness and incredible AOE damage.
For the golem I think you don't try to surround them with your troops since it just pushes them back but aggro the outside one or two of your army and have necromancer melt them

Thank you for this video, saved my night
The way to do it is don't let anything be in the middle, and get everything near it, then you get lots of people to get more people
If you let troops be on the middle, you lose because you will be missing lots of troops that you could get
This is a great concept for a game and is very fun, but I do wish the dev had put out the project files for download so I could fix the key issues. For example: Every time you get a big army you lose.
Oh I didn't know we could tell you when you do it wrong. In that case.....you really need to revisit mini motorways (where segregation is progress) and ratropolis (pick the architect if you want the most gold). Haha love your videos.
These thumbnails just get better and better!
Why is this man so dangerously funny though
“Man, I’m basically doing so good until I’m not” -Basically everyone xd
Yo df has 1.69 million hehe funny number
Such deathly content and its dangerouslyfunny
If you liked this i would recommend Wild Tamer , is a similar game with the same idea , but i think its better and has more content
Dangerously dangerous army you've created .
Played this game after the first video, never had an issue with enemies grouping up in the middle, you just need to be constantly attacking groups of units, you make a big army very quicky and its pretty easy, got the biggest golems and was able to kill anything after a little bit and got bored.
Cool pro-gamer story bro
@@Bama_Boy what is the game name
@@HollowAsmodeus Are you serious right now?
Did you not watch the video cause it showed the game title on the home screen? Or listen to him say the name?
I swear people are just to lazy to look for themself...I'm not going to enable the laziness, if you want the game title go to roughly the 2 minute and 30 seconds of the video and simply watch it for
> 10sec but < 20sec
And then come back and tell me the game name.
I started waching you because of forager.... Now i came back! Good videos as always
Holy crap bro you on #29 in gaming 😅 let’s go dude. I remember watching you when you were small still.
Having more than 1 of those big guys is actually a bad idea, even having 1 can through things into chaos

I love your videos!! They are amazing. Stay safe out there everyone ❤️🍒🌸
really love this kind of games
I love your vids man I just started watching em and everytime I think I’m out of videos recommend comes in clutch lol thank you for everything
Youre on trending! Congrats df
I had thought people have forgotten about this game
For the golem I think you don't try to surround them with your troops since it just pushes them back but aggro the outside one or two of your army and have necromancer melt them

I like the original thumbnails better, but if it helps DF, then I'm all for it.

u can pull the big golems one at a time, they are 1-2 per golem army, btw.
