@@Arausitoshe also appears in Nikke: Goddess of Victory. Been a busy lass has 2B; guest in SC6, here in Granblue Versus: Rising, Nikke and she appears in FF14 during Shadowbringers. Now if only we can get her and Eve of Stellar Blade to coop somewhere....

Granblue's artstyle fits 2B like a glove. Also can't wait to see all of the unlocked sword skins. Pretty sure there's going to be some great memories brought back with those.

They translated the combat really well!
I especially like how they integrate the pod into her moveset, as the pod was the key to creativity in Nier Automata.

What's interesting is that this is 2Bs second appearance as a guest character in a fighting game. First SoulCal 6, now GBVS. Very interesting. I'm not currently playing GBVS atm but if they add like Blazblue Characters as guests or just other guests in general, I'll be all for it.

and the main guy who work on socal 6 is now the ceo of cygames en AND AND cygames used to work with platinum games in the early part to make Granblue fantasy relink so it circled back around and now shes in versus so I bet cygames was the middleman speaking to the platnium games dev of how to implement 2b into rising with all her combat then they go tell Arcsys to know exactly what to do!!!!!

Nikke 2b is the best because both nikke and Yoko Taro made 2b EXTRAAA t h i c c. And we know how much Yoko Taro loves fanservice so was fun to see him go all out without any worries

@@RicochetForce While nice, SC6 itself isn't as flashy as GBFV, which doesn't allow the character to shine as much with her moveset. This game's flashiness really brings the aesthetic and over-the-top moves from Nier:Automata much better. However, I'd say SC6 is on par for the points you mentioned. On top of that, SC6 was the beginning of the 2P color, which Yoko Taro loved so much, it was implemented in the FFXIV collab and other media (including this game!). Funny enough, the same dev who worked on SC6 and brought 2B there is the SAME DEV who brought it to Granblue, as he's now in Cygames.

I can spot pretty much all of her normals and specials as moves in NieR:Automata, other than her SBA activation at 1:08. Anyone else got a clue what attack this might be? The charging stance is reminiscent of of her large sword charged heavy stance, but other than that I'm stumped
Isn't that charging stance just the pose she does during Pod: Laser's fully charged animation? Her stance is slightly different, and the spin is in the other direction but otherwise it looks very close.
Edit: If you mean the charge into kick, I don't recognize it either. I thought maybe it's from 2B's initial Heavy + Spear combo (where she throws her spear down in a similar motion), but i think more it's a reference to Kaine more than anything, not any of 2B's initial moveset. Kaine however definitely does this attack herself.
that move in particular comes from the cutscene following the very first on-foot encounter in the opening factory raid mission, in which she slashes and kicks away a single medium biped, which is the last enemy of said encounter.

In a span of almost one week, we are going to see 2B in Granblue, Ed in Street Fighter 6, and Peacekeeper in Mortal Kombat 1. Now we just need Eddy’s trailer saying he’s coming at the end of the month too and we really will be golden.

Loved playing as Lancelot, but my true main is finally here! I love seeing 2P skin and how well the Automata gameplay was integrated, also the pod doing more than just shoot bullets and lasers! (Like hammer and gravity attacks)
You can tell 2B's moveset has a lot of attention to detail put into it! Her dodge/fade is one of my favorite in action RPGs and love to see it here!
I also really liked thay the maskless version has her Automata color palette! (Most notable on her hair vs GBVR silver hair color). Can't wait to see the chara interactions/dialogue and what other weapon skins we get!!

I can't wait to see how 2B reacts to the Granblue cast and vice versa. As cool as it was to see her in Soul Calibur, was pretty letdown she had basic dialogue and almost no unique interactions with the SC characters. But in Rising she'll have two unique intros and an outro for every other character.

it would be interesting but unlike her, Yoko Taro made all 2B cameos canon and provided the lore reason being now she is like a Virus to any 2P units trying to invade anywhere in any reality. So she will always appear to hunt down 2P units from invading any reality.
