@@GuitarAtWork I wanted to get the song sheet for Summer of 69 but can't find it. Do you still sell it? I became a Patreon fan and still can't find it.
Nice tutorial thank you. Two small points if I may. The D chord without the high E string is not a power chord, it’s D sus 2. Also, everyone in the UK calls the bridge the middle eight. Not just the Beatles. Thanks though, I’m going to give it a go.
A suspended chord replaces the third with either the major second or perfect fourth. So to be a Dsus2 you would need the open high E (the major second). Without that high E, you’re only playing the root and the fifth, so it really is more or less a power chord.
Amazing work been playing for 8 years. Learned a ton of music theory scales etc.....thank you Shane for teaching me the part I have been missing all these years. Thank you thank you thank you
Hello Shane excellent tutorial as usual is summer of 69 considered intermediate or beginning I’m struggling with this song and I thought I was intermediate maybe I’m a beginner!
Thanks a ton shane, great video, you teach so well. I will be practicing, pausing the video, playing, pausing this video over the next few weeks. Cheers and stay safe.
Thank you J - really appreciate that - sorry I haven't done a play along video for that one yet but it is definitely on the list. Best to you and have fun with it! Shane
I just bought my guitar and as a Bryan fan this is the song I wanted to learn, I thought my guitar isn't working but seems I need to pick the strings faster lol, thank you for this tutorial and bring more from Bryan please, if you can make an acoustic of Thought I'd died and gone to heaven I'd be grateful
Great choice, again, and great interpretation. Lesson also right there. For those who find pace a problem, use the advice and PAUSE, then continue. THANKS man!
Credits to Bryan’s lead guitarist Keith Scott who has been with him since the start of his success. Also played with Cher and Tina Turner. Saw him several times......genius and so melodic!

@@mph7282I replayed the clip and yes, you are right. I missed or overlooked the part where he said he mutes the high E so it is a power chord. My bad.
Another one I can tick off thanks 🎶🎸👍
