I did. Team and coaching stuff cannot play against 3 guys pushing towards your centermen or stacking the red line, the relentless forecheck or the aggressive pk. It was embarrassing, for the most part. Outside of Gregor or Nylander trying to break the game open on an individual effort, the team looked pretty outmatched/outplayed. Which reminds me, the individual effort thing was extremely similar to what we experienced during the playoffs last year.
It wasn't even a question of effort - the team does not know how to play against a team like Florida. It's rock vs scissors. Coaching staff should be embarrassed that they still don't have a plan against this. They had the entire offseason to plan for this.
Far more disgusting that the game wasn’t over like it should have been. That is such amateur hour bush league garbage.

Without replays that would be very difficult to call live for the refs. It looked good to me, until the overhead replay showed the double hit.

Well if we remember last year a big problem was Gudas and Bennett went on an "attempt to injure spree" that took out knies and led to many guys playing hurt from well after the whistle charges and boardings that went unpunished. Reaves takes out Bennett, Domi takes out Tkachuk.
After that the Panthers don't have the goon power anymore and it's gonna come down to if our skill guys show up. I'll take that battle any day.

That aside, you send Reaves in after a bad play to hunt down the guys that are being tough, or to just beat up the other guys stars. He ain't great but when he has 30 seconds of ice time and 20 minutes in penalties then the message will be clear. Domi lost his balance and still wanted to get up and go, he may not have got the hits in but he isn't going to loses his balance often. lol, "got destroyed" as if he got knocked out or something 😂

Woll made the save period. No secondary shot on a rebound during a shootout play. Those are the rules to prevent an unfair advantage to the shooter, makes sense to me.

As a leaf fan I have to say this was such a lame way to win this game. Florida deserved the win and also Shootouts are such a bad way to resolve a game. I would rather they increase Overtime to be 5 more minutes (10 minutes total)) 3v3 and if both teams are still in a stale mate than they both get 1 point. Get rid of shootouts.

It's pretty obvious on the overhead angle. 0:54 and again at 1:47. It's quick but you can even slow it down if you need to. The initial shot bounces off the pad back onto the player's stick and then under the pad and in. Very small rebound but that's all it takes. You only get one shot in the shootout.

Leafs Fan Here - I was super confused by the call back. But after seeing the replay, the original shot was saved and clearly going back out and then the second tap gets it going back towards the net. Not sure I love the call back, since it's more of a continuation then a proper rebound, but I get it. As a hockey fan I would have liked that goal to count. As a Leafs fan, I will take it.

It rebounded... doesn't need to be "proper" it just needs to shot by the player, get saved by the goalie... and it's a save. Doesn't matter if the puck then rebounds back underneath them... they made the initial save and that's what the rules state is required.
