Is the ticket how you get paid? Where do you fill up with fuel? 😊 My cousin used to drive from MN to California. Owner operator. He delivered playground equipment. He would fill both tanks in South Dakota to save money. He could drive all the way to SD and back on one fuel trip. He would pick up trailers in California to take back to SD or MN. Pallets of plastic pellets or whatever needed to get out right away. 😊
@ssweeps Hi!😀 There is a transaction ticket from the port, and that one is proof of the transaction. I am an employee driver and we get paid be the hour, plus a little extra per completed container. There are fuel stations near by. It depends who I work for. Most places, we have to fuel the truck at the end of my shift, so it is full and ready for the next shift. Sometimes, we can have a fuel service, and they come to the company yard and fuel up the trucks.😄
@somethingepic777 There is no difference inside the ports, working day or night. You can be in there for 30 minutes and exit, or 4 to 5 hours until exit. The difference is outside the port, and at night you can get anywhere so much faster! 💖
Impressive 🌟safe travels 🍃
Thank you so very much! ✌️😎✌️

Have you ever worked the ports at night?
Yes! If you watch some of my older videos, they are all night, but they start about 5:00pm so I could get sunlight in the videos. 😁👍
Please watch this one, it's a night shift video. 🙂

@@PortsOfLosAngeles Thank you. I’ll watch the videos. I appreciate you posting these informative videos. :)
How is it working the ports at night vs during the day?

Were you empty or loaded when you entered the port?
I had an empty container going-in this time.
Thank you so much for watching! 😀
