That's got to be tough spending so much time on something so amazing, and to patiently wait for a reaction. Yet the silence is perfect. The guy is just in such awe of the work that he was just speechlessly taking it in. That it took him some time to wrap words around what he was experiencing made this reaction one of the coolest I've seen, and I've watched quite a number of Devon's videos. Amazing portrait, incredible reaction.
Exactly! We must learn to find happiness in our "present" because if you keep thinking, " I will be happy when or if this or that happens ", you wont ever find it... happiness is a choice and it is in the NOW!
What a super nice and unique man. Love his outlook on life. I find there is always wisdom in talking to older people. There have been through what alot of people have not, thus they have insight. His greatest influence was Jesus. Me too.
These like, "NO WAY, just happened to meet randomly in public!!1!1" encounters are super cringe. Just sit down for a portrait and introduce your guest without faking an encounter.
