My favorite band since 1975. Thanks for all those years. Greetings from Holland.the Netherlands. Got a lot of merchandise at home. KISS is a part of my life. Legends.
Wanna see a better, more brilliant version of this song? Go watch the Kiss Kruise concert with Bruce & Bob Kulick and Todd Kerns. Those guys were f’n amazing.
Probably my most favorite Gene bass line. He didn’t play it like on the album but it sounded good. He blew the lyric and powered through. Oh,somebody commented that Tommy couldn’t play the lead like Ace….Well,Ace didn’t play it on the album. But we knew this.
FUN! so he goofed a lyric, how long ago did he write this? how many songs has he written? how old is he? it's ok. I just don't know why this wasn't played live regularly. great tune. thanks for the upload. let's see how well you can sing and play bass in 40 pounds of armour 6 inch platform heels and face paint when you're 70!
I remember hearing this song for the first time. I thought Ace had found some new licks and was ripping that solo... years later found out it was Bob Kulick playing those blistering notes. Tommy gave it a shot...
A couple of want to be guitar players with TH-cam muscles. The thing is, Tommy Thayer can play something very close to EVERY single lead on every single song that kiss ever ever recorded. Bob Kulick couldn't do it. Ace couldn't do it. Bruce Kulick couldn't do it.
Tommy aint no Bob Kulick, nor an Ace Frehley.. It's obvious here that he can't be either one.. He's forever a fake frehley :( Anything for money. It's the KISS way
These are the songs that the band should have played on their final tour.
Never heard them play this song live. I like it.
One of my fav KISS songs. Top 10 maybe. Awesome!
KISS digging really deep for a rarity. Awesome.
My favorite band since 1975. Thanks for all those years. Greetings from Holland.the Netherlands. Got a lot of merchandise at home. KISS is a part of my life. Legends.
This is one of Kiss's most underrated songs.
Gene sounds fantastic with the vocal!
Gene's "UGH"... PRICELESS!!!
Pure gold
amazing song, well played live... so good
KIZZ Been Larger Than Life To Me Since 1976! GREAT Song!
KIZZ Forever!
🤘😝🤘
My favorite KISS song
Those are some of my favorite kiss songs from alive II
This is awesome!
What a lovely tune! 👏👏👏
KISS is Larger than Life n believe it so thank you KISS for the memories n all
Fucking fantastic; my absolute favorite track off of Alive II; YES the entire album
Mine too E...I use to sit in my room in 1977-78 and listen to it over and over...and over...
I totally agree!!! This lead guitar is reminiscent of MONTROSE.
Gene Simmons made a fan outa me with this track, cause damn.
That was freaking awesome!!!!
Well It's devenetly better than cashing your old age pension at the post office. Rock on grandad's. Love to them all.
It doesn't have to be perfect to be FUN.....
They should have played some of these old songs on tour instead of the same songs over and over
Wanna see a better, more brilliant version of this song? Go watch the Kiss Kruise concert with Bruce & Bob Kulick and Todd Kerns. Those guys were f’n amazing.

wow, this is really rare. they never do the studio side of alive 2.
Amazing!
I like the wig glue on the side of Gene's head that is all bubblely. 😂😂😂
Basically they are are tribute band without Ace an Peter lol😊
Killer video!
GREAT JOB ALL...THANX 4 MAKING Tee with LIONS NAMED LEO the music worldwide.
LOVE YOU ALL...!!!....MUCH LOVE.!!
KA2 side 4, the forgotten classic KISS album
How this song never made it to a regular set-list rotation is beyond me.
Probably my most favorite Gene bass line. He didn’t play it like on the album but it sounded good. He blew the lyric and powered through. Oh,somebody commented that Tommy couldn’t play the lead like Ace….Well,Ace didn’t play it on the album. But we knew this.

Quite evident that solo for Tommy was well beyond his ability
😂
Bob Kulick could rip. All my childhood I thought that Ace finally got some nads after hearing this song…..
How so? He's playing his own solo instead of Kulick's. Let go of the makeup thing.
I remember hearing this song for the first time. I thought Ace had found some new licks and was ripping that solo... years later found out it was Bob Kulick playing those blistering notes. Tommy gave it a shot...
Gene looking more and more like a member of GWAR
Brilliant song done with little practice, should be on every tour, the lead work is abysmal BTW
That solo was pretty pitiful...
Agreed it was sad
Bob Kulick played it so much better on the album for sure.
Thayer totally botched Bob Kulick's leads. If I would have been there, I wouldn't have cared. Lucky to hear this live.
Bob was pretty damn good
Tommy fucked up Bob's solo. I'm pissed.
I am disgusted, what the hell was tommy thinking?
@@paulwalrond He's just not that good. Bob was on a different level, Bob had to dumb down to pretend to be Ace
He was hit compared to Tommy … sorry
Great song and done well. Tommy might have been in a little over his head on this one.
Yeah, Bob Kulick he's not. 🤣
WHERE IS GENE'S BASS. IN THE ORGINAL TRACK YOU CAN HEAR GENE'S SHORT BASSLINE VERY CLEAR.
They threw a lot of songs in the set list without a lot of rehearsing figuring nobody would care or notice.
@@haywoodyoudome WHEN ACE LEAFT. THE SECOND HEAD TO LEARN AL SOLO'S AND THE TEKST. AND I SEE IT AL
It's a pity that Tommy Thayer doesn't make more of an effort to reproduce Bob Kulick's fantastic solo more accurately.
Tommy wishes he could play that lead like Bob Kulick.
Kiss is Gene,Paul,Ace,and Peter! PERIOD!
Kiss is gene paul peter and ace then w/ carr/vinnie. not this garbage.
AMEN!
We done four already and now we're steady and then they went: one, two, three, four...
Always was one of my favorites! Just wish Tommy would have pulled off the leads
Tommy fucked up on the solo. Whats new ..
Don't be an imbecile. He rarely screws up.
Sorry but they need Bob Kulik on guitar 😁 🎸
At least Gene has a valid excuse for forgetting the words to this one!
What happened to the audio
Sounds like hell
Too bad Thayer blew the lead on this! That's one of the best, "Non Ace" leads on any of their albums IMO.
He did his own lead. There's nothing wrong with what he did. You need to let the makeup thing go.
Gene still has good hair and a good voice!
ALIVE 2 VERSION IS WAY BETTER. AND WHY IS THE FOURTH SITE NOT LIVE ?.
You can tell they don't play this song live. The timing is waaaaaaay off
Tommy aint no Bob Kulick, nor an Ace Frehley.. It's obvious here that he can't be either one.. He's forever a fake frehley :( Anything for money. It's the KISS way
Let the makeup thing go. It's been over twenty years now.
Tammy blew that solo bad. Even if he was doing his own thing it sucked balls
You finally play this and he shits the bed on the lead?? Sorry Bruce!🤘
Horrible solo by Tommy as usual
Loved KISS. ...Sorry, time to call it a day. Hard to do with all the stupid money flowing in, but its an embarrassment.
ALIVEⅡ
Tommy Nailed It
The original drum beat was much better than this version 🤷
lt literally looks like a tribute band. Gene and Paul included. So sad to see!
Nothing sad about this...lol this song is a classic... KISS will always be larger than life!!
🤟👅🤟
Here we go fonzie and syncing Stanley follower get the fuck out of here 😠
Original
You do not know what Tribute looks LIKE & the REAL KISS....COMPARED??
Gene is freakin 70 years old here and looks and sounds great . . Educate yourself 😅
Foppery
Gene still sounds great! Damn, but this camera man needs to be fired. Too much zoom and too shaky.
Classic Gene, forgets the vocals.
Tommy Thayer… JFC… He sounds like he’s playing through a muscle spasm. Abysmal, but that’s what you get for hiring the tea boy to play lead guitar.
Probably should've practiced that one a bit more.
Shame on Tommy for not doing the solos right. ugh
Expect better outta Tommy
1:44 Paul is so used to lip synching, he can’t help himself even if it is Gene on the mic 😂
PISS ... 😆
Gene is completely off the beat with the words.
He doesn't even play the funky bass line....
Tommy and Eric equals a cover band
By that definition...nearly every band older than 10 years is a cover band.
The lead guitar player can’t play the solo worth a damn. They should have stopped performing 15 years ago, smh
Butchered intro solo. Bob Kulick was a beast
Mother of God....Thayer totally butchered this.
