I've actually been using a OnePlus 11 for the last year. It's an enjoyable flagship device and smooth as silk. Honestly, I've had absolutely no issues with it. Still, I require two flagship level devices so, I did pre-order the OnePlus 12 and I'll tell you why. I am a legally blind low vision user. To that end, screen quality and brightness is everything to me. The 11 offers a respectable 1300 nits of brightness. However, the new screen technology of the 12 offers a peek brightness of 4500 nits. That's not something I could easily ignore. Once more, the difference is dramatic and obvious. Playing devil's advocate, even though I personally believe the 11 is an amazing device, I wonder how many people will pass it up to purchase the new 12R? Both devices utilize the same processor, GPU and RAM configuration. Still, there are differences. The 11 offers quad HD display and many other flagship features that the 12r doesn't. While the 12R offers flagship specifications many of the other features are definitely upper mid-tier mid-range. In addition, it also comes at a far cheaper price. Either way, I don't think you can go wrong.
@@vernonleewarren280 fortunately, I own both. Although, the biggest difference for me is the screen brightness. As I mentioned in my comment, that is really my reason for the upgrade. Personally, I don't give a crap about wireless charging. LOL. In real world use, there really isn't that much difference in the performance.
Watching this from my oneplus 11. Only gripe about this is that there are few premium accessories available. even the original sandstone cases are not available in amazon anymore.
Actually, I just purchased an OEM Aramid Fiber case on Amz a few days ago. At last glance, they are still in stock. In addition, I occasionally see the sandstone bumper cases pop up on there as well. Although, I got that one the day I purchased the 11. One of the first things I do when ordering a OnePlus device is jump on the OEM cases immediately. There are also cases available from other reputable companies such as tudia, poetic, spigen, UAG and many others.
Yeah I love my OnePlus 11. I love everything about it but the curved display. I might have to look somewhere else if the future flagships are releasing curved displays. Nothing phone series is what I will fall back on if OnePlus continues to keep the curved display trend.
strange how different reviewers think about the OnePlus 11's camera(s). ranging from decent to fantastic. But it probably depends on which eye sees. In my opinion, the OnePlus 11 camera is quite excellent
Pixel 7 Pro if photos/camera is the most important thing for you, but for everything else, I'd choose the OP11, better battery life, performance, and software features
If the camera is not important to you than oneplus 12r. Both have the same processor and are on android 14. Oneplus 12r just to have a larger battery and a better display. Its ultrawide, macro shit cam, and selfie are meh. Rear main 50mp is the same as the Oneplus rear main cam.
Thats tough, as I have not used the 12r myself but looking at specs, they look so similar with small minor differences that I would just go with whatever is cheaper.
Thanks mate, appreciate the feedback! I would say it's still a solid device for basic/moderate users. My dad has the Pixel 6 still and has had nothing but a good experience still. But then again he's a very basic user. I'd probably look for a pixel 7 pro instead over the 6 pro. I recall the 6pro was a bit of a toasty phone and batter wasn't great.
13:00 that's a deal breaker for me. Had the same issue on 10T with OOS14 and returned it. Supposedly it's not a bug, but a feature. That's how OnePlus intended notifications to work.

The OnePlus 12 is definitely an upgrade from the OnePlus 11. I had the OnePlus 11 and I definitely liked it but the OnePlus 12 is just awssome

Lots of cases still on Amazon. Just got the Tudia case, 2 screen protectors and camera lens cover. Something like $25 for all 3 things.
Which phone would you recommend more between this one and the Oppo Find X5 (Base version) in terms of camera and battery life.
It brittle, ofc imma put a case on it but i tend to drop it from short hrights alot and the curved display isnt very confidence inducing.

Does OnePlus 11 have green line problem?
No

Which would you consider better in general terms, Pixel 7 Pro or OnePlus 11? Thanks
Pixel 7 Pro if photos/camera is the most important thing for you, but for everything else, I'd choose the OP11, better battery life, performance, and software features
Got mine for 452 dollars😀
Got the 1+ 11 for 445 dollars (new) 16/256 😁😁
OP 11 vs 12R .. which one to choose? I’m my country both are selling at same price

1+11 that's a very easy question to answer in my opinion. You'll get better cameras bro.
How does it compare to the 10 pro
It's much better!

What will you use it for ? I had the pixel 7 and loved it I buy and sell phones so I had many happy, to help
Brother, what is the icon pack? It looks hella clean!
Stock icons but using adaptive color to the wallpaper

It's a very annoying "feature" then
Icon pack name?
Using default custom icons with adopt systems color on.
@@TacoTechTalk in dark theme also white icons will be there in OnePlus 12r?
No they'll also change to a darker shade with dark mode turned on
@@TacoTechTalk I understand, thanks for the reply.
Is OnePlus 11 worth it? No. 12R is basically everything OP11 is and more. 11 has no inherent worth, except for price on 2nd hand market.
better screen, better camera, better processeor optimization
I'm not going back to any curved glass again no matter how cheap they are
why?
You are dumb
Why?
use a case
