I once read a book about a woman like her... She was afraid to hurt anybody even its just a sparring session because she joined a karate group.. Her master just told her to quit because she was to gentle.. So therefore I conclude it's not because dara is a quiter it's because it's her belief not to hurt somebody.. Because if u follow Dara's life u will see what a fighter she is...she can make impossible things possible remember? So please no hate.. She stands for what she believed in.. Let's respect that.

@raiden z I understand that but even if so we have no idea if Dara has Aichmophobia or something alone those lines. She's not strong enough to see herself fighting someone or hurting someone and that's what NEEDS to be understood. Yes she might of known what was going to happen at that time and she might of wanted to be strong and go through with it. But in the end she wasn't that strong after all. And be honest, 💁 Nobody wants to do something they're not comfortable doing... It's her mind and feelings we have no idea what's really going through her head... All this might have a deeper meaning. Think on that.

No full grown adult is pure.........she's in her 30's.....I don't believe she QUIT because she 'doesn't believes in fighting' otherwise she wouldn't have joined the show obviously.She cried really because she knows SHES WEEK. You never hear tough people saying'oh I'm a lover not a fighter'. She got DEFEATED and used the whole PEACE BS as a cover up excuse.

I understand, but fighting isn't always a bad thing. You need to defend yourself, cause not everyone in this world are good people. Some will try to hurt you, and fighting these people isn't a bad thing. But I guess dara was always soft, so I'm not too surprised.

I am a Dara fan, can you tell? I've supported her through the years and when I saw her going to be a part of this show, I just didnt get it. This is the first time I'm seeing the english sub thank you K-Lover. This is military training, very physical and of course you would be taught how to fight, self defense and killing tactics because thats what the military trains for. To protect your country at all cost. It was hard watching her struggle and cry. And to break down here with those reasons.Everyone told her not to go but she still went. I think Real Men need to interview each woman or celebrity to explain what the training is about, and find out why these women are coming in to train. Then those with unrealistic reasons who obviously are weak can be weeded out before hand. Otherwise they could actually hurt themselves and others around them.

Sometimes you have to defend against the enemy or else the reality can be unbearable. My respect to all the young men and women who grew up never once knowing the pains of war and yet having the strength, valor, and wisdom to know the value of Peace.
As for Dara, I completely understand her position but it does not mean it is easy or wrong to be a warrior for peace, either...

I ALSO UNDERGO MILITARY TRAINING ,first 3 WEEKS I KEEP CRYING TO THE POINT I FEEL LIKE CAN'T HANDLE IT ANYMORE , I QUIT AFTER FEW MONTHS I WENT BACK cause I KNOW that when you're inside the CAMP everything is UNFAMILIAR ,very far from our social life..I understand your STAND AS WELL ..it's REALLY GOOD TO KNOW THAT YOU PUSH YOURSELF TO IT EVEN IF I ALREADY KNOW THAT YOU MIGHT CAN'T CONTINUE 'TiLL THE END ,cause I KNOW YOU . .😊😊

I can relate to Ate Sandara.
During highschool, I joined Taekwondo only for the exercise and basic defense. Everytime we had a sparring, i'm always scolded because i don't want to fight my sparring partner.
One day, students from all belts were gathered for everybody to spar in the center.
Still, i dont want to fight. I let my partner beat me until i was pushed to the wall. I did not do any kicks, only blocking. But again, i was scolded. So, for this time, i just obliged to their order TO FIGHT.
After that round, my sensei saw my potential and asked me if i wanted to join regional contests. I answered, "No. And i quit."
Does that makes me a weak person? NO.
(1)I hate fighting.
(2) i already got what i want which is to learn basic defense.

You never know what guns, knife and other acts means to others..You never know how their surrounding has been so far. Who knows what has they experienced to be so afraid of everything..She is strong, but everyone has their own strength and they may fight with their very own strength..its okay dara..Its okayy
I don't think so, Dara is a quitter... Nor weak either... She just want a simple life that no one step on her feet... As long as she can handle the situation why she can't talk? She just want peace... So people stop telling shes a quitter because she can be a fighter in a good way...

Dara is a fighter maybe she tried to overcome her beliefs about fighting but couldn't that does not make her a quitter. FYI at a young age she became a breadwinner for her family and living in a foreign land. She conquered the hearts of the Filipinos. Afterwards she bravely left everything to start a career in Korea and became a part of 2ne1. After disbandment she bravely started her career again as a solo. If all of what she went through cannot be bravery i don' t know what is. She did not accept defeat and instead kept pushing forward
Well some are like that but you need it in this world. Even if you hate doing it?it might save your life or life of others. The world is a cruel place and you need to protect oneself

Just Khaye she probably broke down crying because of mental stress. Mental stress is hard to bear with. She already was learning the basics, and she just needed a little more training, but because of mental stress, she didn't. Even if someone tries to hurt her, GD will protect her. ^^

Dara is too small and fragile for this kind of thing. Why did she join in the first place. Surely, she knew what to expect....but she still went for it anyway... Thing is people should know their limitations... what they can and what they can not do.....
Timothy Yap But that is probably what made her successful. She certainly has limitations in terms of talent but that did not stop her from pursuing her dream of being an idol. Had she accepted her obvious limitations, she would have just ended up like you and me, nobodies.

To simplify what i am trying to say for you to understand, the tasks in this show requires physical strength... Her beauty and talent is not in question....The mind can do but the body cant....its as simple as that.

She did not lie and she's the most genuine korean I knew. She said she could hit someone. If you knew her since 2004 you would know she's tough and genuine. Bet you don't know her that much so stop the BS.
