Jesus espi I didn’t know your mother pass away, I’m very sorry for your loss. My mother has a problem in her dorsal spine so she needs to operate, and there are chances for well you know what. So I’m really sorry and I hope your rest of your family helps you recover and have company and love.

Well the down side is all my family died, over the past 10 years I have lost 4 family members and my family is very small, so my mother was all I had left so these past 8 months have been a test for sure, but thank you for the kind words

The one part that stuck out me the most was them airing the Hydra fight episode ON FATHER'S DAY. Talk about diabolical.

I just finished this season yesterday, and I think it was absolutely wonderful. The world building, character development, story telling, it was all amazing. I feel men's mental health is a very important issue and it is really sad that men get no help at all and have no way to seek help other then closest friends. There is so much resources for women when they need help but men... there is nothing. Men simply never get help and most never learn how to reach out and ask for help.
It is really messed up anyone who makes fun of ED and mental issues for men. Society is trained to bash men up one side and down the other and then devalue them in general. More men are homeless, suffer mental problems, "end their journeys" do not go to higher education, even jobs in a lot of fields now are becoming more difficult, yet still no resources to help men out. That really hits home for me because I have had friends who desperately needed help and end up at the end of their line with no help at all. Mental illness is a real thing and should never be laughed at, especially for men.
Seeing true love and Sylphie cure Rudeus was a really big deal. heck even Luke Greyrat pointed out how big a deal ED was. On Another note, Paul's death hit me hard. My father past away not to long ago, so it brought back bitter sweet memories. Yes, it brought me to tears. I loved my father and miss him dearly. Great video and keep them coming.

The finale stuck with me, Rudeus graving his daughter and being so happy for it.

I would say rudy reunion with both sylphy and roxy are my favorite highlights of season 2 i really can't wait for season 3

I think part of why Sylphie, aside from not following the Millis teachings, is so accepting of Roxy, is... she was always around Paul, Norn, Aisha, Lillia, and Zenith before the mass teleportation. She knows what sort of guy Paul was, scummy but loyal, and she knows the same applies to Rudeus. He's scum, but loyal scum.

I really like this last episode, it went better that I thought it would go and I like it. All the characters here are phenomenal, the voice acting of norn was unreal, it almost makes me cry. The discussion of Rudy entering Roxy to the family go almost exactly as I imagined it, norn turning angry with obvious justification, the funny turn of Silphy literally says that his husband is a pervert but she loves him anyway and that it was just a matter of time that this happen and I make I joke that she was going to react this way and I couldn’t believe they did it like this and I loved it. The speech of Rudy to his deceased father was very good and emotional, overall I really liking this series and I can’t wait for season 3.

As an LN reader I’m in agreement. I enjoyed this season even more than season 1. The character development was just exceptional. Additionally, the voice acting this season was outstanding.

I can't limit my love of this show to one segment, but I love it so much that I actually watch it weekly instead of waiting for a complete season to binge. I've never done that for any anime before

I am surprised by how many people just don't get the last two episodes. I am basing this on having watched about 25 different reactors and find that the critics, if I am to be generous, tend to fall into several categories:
    1) Lacking literary comprehension. Some just don't understand the story, characters or setting. They just watch the episodes on a superficial level and don't do the extra work to analyze it. They often don't even remember important details from more than a few episodes back. The last two episodes acted like a test. Those who were paying attention and could read between the lines based on previously presented context got it, and those who hadn't did not. I have seen too many confused faces in the last several days exclaiming that they don't know what is happening.
    2) Lacking psychological understanding. I am almost appalled by how many just don't understand, or don't want to understand, human behavior and mental illness. Especially if it is challenging or uncomfortable. Many made some truly misinformed, if not outright harmful, remarks about depression, grief, SA, grooming, how people handle trauma and stress, sex, consent, cheating, consequences, etc.
    3) Lack of empathy. Many creators and commentors are stuck in their own biases. I have seen tons of projection. They are not even trying to understand what is happening and why. Rather I am seeing people twist the words and actions of characters (particularly Roxy) to villianize and condemn them as much as possible. Many are mad that Sylphie isn't as upset as they think she should be and that Rudy and Roxy are not being punished as much as they wish. Norn has suddenly become the favorite character of many a reactor. Which I find hilarious because, despite her actions being understandable, she is clearly called out for being in the wrong. After all, she was unilaterally forcing her beliefs and feelings onto others without understanding them or asking how they felt.
    4) Wish fulfillment. There are also those who seem upset that the story isn't unfolding the way they want it to. They seem surprised that the characters aren't acting based on knowledge known by the audience. That they are not making optimal choices based on our current real world morals and values. The want to project themselves into, rather than just onto the main characters. But they can't do that if the characters keep acting so real and messy.
For example, one particular reactor (who I actually like and will not name) hit all of the above. For two episodes she has raged. She missed the signs showing just how bad Rudy's state was. She immediately accused Roxy of taking advantage of/grooming Rudy without bothering to examine her motives or why he might cheat. She deliberately cherry picked dialogue to demonize Roxy and ignored anything in the episodes or her comment section that might challenge her opinion. She couldn't believe Elinalise would suggest marraige. She cheered on Norn and couldn't fathom why Sylphie accepted Roxy. She claimed she could have written better dialogue since she did not believe Rudy loved Roxy due to his inner monologue's word choice. It seemed to her like he was just repaying a favor. Completely ignoring that he has used similar phrasing several times in the past with Sylphie. The examples of dialogue she wanted were not in line with the characters or situation. She just wanted a fanfic at that point.
I could go on, but this is long enough. None of this is to justify or excuse the bad behaviors of the characters. Nor am I here to condemn the thoughts and feelings of others. If someone doesn't like Mushoku Tensei, that's cool. I find the opinions of others interesting and often enlightening. I am just shocked that more people than I would have hoped made it all the way to the end of season 2, yet still do not seem to understand the story, characters or themes of this show that they supposedly enjoy. As well as the concerning lack of mental health awareness and empathy on display.

I agree. Her feelings are her feelings. It a totally okay to not like particular characters, scenes, or plot developments. Overall, I found her reaction entertaining and interesting. It is not my intent to be absolutist. It is just in this particular moment that she, more so than others, seemed to hit all my categories. So I decided to use her as an illustrative example. That and I find her misdefining the term groomer to be harmful. Like when people recklessly throw around p*d*phile, it ends up distorting people's understanding of the concept. Greater public confusion tends to give actual offenders cover. But she is not alone in this. Many other creators have shown a troubling misunderstanding of consent and depression amongst other such concepts. This was the major impetus for my little screed.

But we shouldn’t approve mediocrity. Episode 23 ruined whole finale for me. First time I was really disappointed by lack of consequences. There was no remorse, regrets, Paul’s death brushed over by just one deed. Probably the most traumatic hard hitting moment of the series and it had very very bad execution. I love this series that’s why it is hard to get over poor handling of that ep.

For me the Nanahoshi’s breakdown and the Norn shut-in arc were standout episodes. And the depressed magician arc is the one I'm most personally attached to, but unfortunately the anime didn't quite do it justice.

I can't pick a specific scene or episode. I have to say the last 3 episodes taken together, despite the issues I have with the cut content and some adaptation choices. The last few episodes really exemplify how much the characters have grown and changed. Rudy finally, truly reflecting on his past life and mistakes, leading to his epiphany and resolution to take up Paul's mantle. Roxy finally being able to grasp that which she has been searching for her entire life. How much Sylphie has matured and is on her way to becoming an outstanding mother. Norn transforming from a scared child to someone who can stand up for herself and others.

Yeah i've never gotten, people watching or reading stuff they don't like. lol And there's also ones who hate stuff, just for the genre they have. Which i also can't stand when they have that bias as well. Just seeing those types of comments, just piss me off. Some of the complaints too, are very dum too. Especially the ones, about being bothered by harem aspects of a story.( some of the complainers, can't look past their bias. and just look at it's story in general) I guess it's a pet peeve at this point. XD
