Great job! That is some insanely beautiful soil. Love the idea of the rainbow color corn. Can’t believe you had the patience to hand dig that. Awesome job friend! Hope your homestead and farmstead doing well! Felt good yesterday got sick overnight so am watching your videos on my sick day. Mind blowing content. Keep it up! You’re inspiring tons of people.

Thanks Chad, was a lot of work. Garden getting destroyed by grasshoppers and squash bugs at the moment

@@StefanoCreatini we have had a grasshopper invasion in Ogden. So bad I called the state agricultural department and they gave me some free bait that you put around the edges of the field that kills them. If it gets really bad you will need to resort to some grasshopper bait.

In going to resort to something, is it organic?

@@StefanoCreatini sadly it is not organic nor is there anything organic that will fix a grasshopper invasion. The grasshoppers were in my trees eating my unripe peach crop. I figure if my entire farm is at risk of extinction this year I have to use my nukes. Luckily it worked at the Ogden Farm and all is spared. A more organic approach is to use it just on the sides of farm on the outskirts, not within the crops. Many grasshoppers will die on the edges without getting chemical bait on your crops. I Am excited to watch your new hit videos. Great job 👏

Thanks, lot of hard work but it’s been great. Way more rewarding the watching Netflix. Now to maintain and harvest.

Totally!! I planted strawberries and they all died in the raised beds, I believe it was compost.

This is very nice - bravo on all the work. Are you thinking about doing some permaculture guilds with perennials elsewhere on the property? Some asparagus? Check out Edible Acres here for a million ideas.

Yeah, I have a food forest I planted on the other side of the house. 50 plus trees so far. Once I get the game fencing up, it will allow me to plant a large amount of trees. The deer are ruthless here

Those corn varieties look very interesting, are they native to Colorado?

No, midwest area. The Hopi is closer by.
