Hey phlinger, after you cover all the creatures in ark basics, you should do some ark basics on like the fabricator, electrical generator and so on. i definitely had trouble when it was my first time learning about those machines.

Okay, so the Pelagornis can land on water, but everything in the water will move to its location to kill it? Sounds like the perfect flyer to kill high level alphas and gigas with. Lure an alpha rex out into the water, then sit there attracting alpha megs and other nasty sea beasts that will attack the rex, then fly up, letting them fight it out. Then kill the winner and collect the loot.

5:44 30 engram points. You probably already know where the level is, but it’s level 43. Level 30 allows you to unlock the sword, sickle, giant hatch and trap door and the saddle for megaloceros
I made it starve to 600 and then I feed it regular fish meat and i tamed it so always make a tame starve if u don’t have prime meat or anything u don’t have and u only have weak food make them starve for like 10 min or less
@@purplegg9185 Firstly that is not true. It's just that sabertooth salmon are the least lethal thing you can harvest prime from with a sickle. Secondly you can find sabertooth salmon in most rivers and ponds easily. Though I get how one could feel like this is the case. It always seems to be hard to find a specific creature when you're actually looking for it. And if a bob has only killed like two species of fish and saw that one gave prime and the other didn't. Then killed a 3rd species and saw that it didn't give prime either. I get how they could reach that conclusion.
@@purplegg9185 I figured as much. A good personal rule to have is whenever you're wondering about something. Check the game's wiki first (or dododex). Don't just rely on what you personally know. There is plenty of information to be had through experience and testing that is not on the wiki. But it's not bad as a first resort for information. The wiki will save you from building up a lot of misconceptions about how things work.

Sickle harvests prime fish really well.
Yes. But it’s only gets prime fish meat with saber salmon fish which is hard to find for lower levels because it’s more out into the ocean

Use a lystrosaur with it's buff, use the golden eggs from Hesperonis as those give xp buffs to your chosen pet too if you feed it to them.

The only reason I started playing ark was because I wanted a pelagornis
it took me almost 5 in game nights to tame it with just raw fish
