Great outback quiet lanes ride VB, one thing 99.9% of our roads in Oz are clear of high vegetation on the verges.. I’m riding with you on my recliner hoping a bloody Roo or wombat doesn’t come out …love seeing the old red phone boxes seemingly scattered around the countryside.. green, green, green grass/crops is magnificent.. when I go for a run on the ole 500, I know it will do half an hour in roughly 40 minutes.. keep ‘em coming mate.. cheers Phil 🇦🇺
Great little bumbling round the country roads exactly what I like no stress relaxing respecting the beautiful countryside love it and the harwich video I thought was a great video nothing wrong with that and as for push bikes there’s so many now on racing bikes they have got very popular since I think the olympics and boy do they go and some cost as much as a good motorcycle crazy prices but that is everything in the world it seems anyway can’t wait for the next video take care ride safe
Those Classics and Bullets seem to be the ideal tool for exploring all those narrow lanes,they''re a bit quieter in your neck of the woods than they are in Wiltshire!, there's always someone in a rush here,so my T150 or GSX1400 are quite often substituted for a Jimny for lane exploration (more room for the dog too). Great video, I also really enjoyed the Harwich redoubt visit ,your channel is tempting me to get a Bullet ,as I reckon it might good for every day use,and I like the fact they're not greedy on the petrol!all the best Mr Brown!
Regarding dealers who do not do test rides..my response would be to get a test ride elsewhere and purchase a bike elsewhere, then let that dealer know they have lost your business.. If enough of us do that it should have the desired effect.
I love ride around the lanes, finding new paces and sight I haven’t seen before 9n my local area. Really like your videos,chat and l liked the trips out to the church and fort, but if nobody watches them then what’s the point.
Sorry to hear about the low performing exploring video. I like it very much, the old cannons where very interesting. The roads that you have there are just superb.. Perfect for small to mid size bike, just burbling along. p.s. I am a bicycle rider too.. And ex amateur road racer. The bikes are very light.. 7-8kg and the people riding them are super fit too.. So, it' both.

I enjoyed the previous episode although you were off your bike a lot, however, you’d need to watch the video to find this out. Your TH-cam analytics should tell you if people started to watch the video and then turned off ? I wondered if the video was too long but another recent video was longer with twice the views. You mentioned BMW - last year I rode to the VMCC Founders Day event on my brothers Continental GT 250 which has very low clip ons fitted. After the 50 mile round trip I hopped back on my BMW R nineT Racer, which is notoriously uncomfortable so everybody says, and it felt like the most comfortable touring motorcycle in comparison to the Royal Enfield !
Every main dealer offer test rides , there are however age limitations . Not sure how old your son is but dealer insurance only covers bikers over a certain age , (21/25 often) Some lovely lanes on the ride👍

I have 3 bikes working and road legal, another 14 or so that need a bit of attentiontion. But at this time of year I am more interested in organising my free time for riding.
The problem with collecting things is they end up owning you if you're not careful. You fancy bikes when you are younger, and by the time you get them you run out of time to use them all. Fair enough if you see them as static exhibits, but if you want them all running, taxed, insured and MOT'd it takes up head space and riding time. At least in my experience.
Hi V B, Sorry I dont know your name. I do the same type of run on my newly acquired 350. I'm still running in, so it's slow going. I'm bimbling along a single track road in Rutand, when a Hoo Ha Henry comes along, with no regard and forces me up the verge. No manners., but fortunately I'm going slow and was easy to recover on the grass. They didn't stop. Dealers: I'm close to 300miles now, so popped into my local RE dealers for the kit, ( i do things myself because I want my bike done properly) After all it's my life on the line. I got all the parts needed EXCDPT ths oil. The main dealers told me to go to Halfords, they had no stock, and 4 days delivery at Halfords. I went to all the bike dealers in the CITY, yes City, and nobody stocks 15W 50. Whatever happened to dealer service? My RE dealer asked me why I was doi g the service myself as it would invalidate the warrenty, I was polite, and explained I was capable He said if it had been a Kawasaki H1, it would be £1000 for the first service. If that's true then stear clear of that one. The world has changed. Let's hope the 350 is as good as everyone says and the parts continue to be available from the """Dealers""" Seems like if theres no easy money in it, they will turn their backs these days. @michaelnicholson5218 Sounds like you have a bad dealer. The only thing I buy from the dealer is a new bike. They never see me after that! They are completely wrong about doing your own servicing and loosing the warranty. Fact! If I know I have a service coming up for any of the bikes. I get the oil in stock, normally from Halfords or online. Sounds like your Halfords is pretty rubbish too! Euro car parts will get it in next day if they haven't got it on the shelf.

This one told me that 15W 50 was only for the Indiam market, and I should use 10W 50, which he just happened to have in stock. Oh dear another one!!! I tried Bob Minion in Derby ( North) , absolutely excellent. Although I told him in the first breath that i had already ordered the prescribed oil, he double checked that Motul 5100 was correct, and it is. I also told him I didn't buy the bike from him. Still no problem, and he was happy to take his time to help. At last, !!! Thanks for your great videos, It's nice and refreshing to see videos that aren't flogging suppliers wares. beautiful little villages roads a bit dodgy in places though , thanks for another great video , while im on here and value your knowledge of the Enfields which years are the best to go for in the 350s and 500 bullets as looking at buying one have ridden a modern Meteor but bit old school and like the simplicity of the bullets
@jobucklandbuckland8031 If it's a English built one, any year will be good. Indian versions, as late as poss. Quality got better from 2002 to 2008 on both the 350 and 500's.
Hello mate Wonder if you can help Did you get a service manual with your classic 350? I bought a classic 350 and have now completed the 300 miles so needs to be serviced for the warranty, however I wasn’t given a service book with it so how do you log the service with Enfield to start your warranty? Any help would be appreciated
@DawnOfford Hello Dawn, You can download the owners handbook from Royal Enfield's website (which is also the service record) Alternately you can get one from any official Enfield dealer.
That would totally turn me off buying a Honda if I couldn’t test ride it, unless there was a no loss exchange or refund policy, if I thought it was dog poo! Yes the road surfaces at the mo are utter toss may as well trade in the sports bike for a nasty ATV… ps I get bad wind too 😂😂😂

Well this is predominately a Royal Enfield channel, so it's not unreasonable that people who watch it enjoy content pertaining to Royal Enfield motorcycles. Having said that I really enjoyed the one where Dave went to a 1000 year old church.
You have the kind of roadsl would rideon my Triumph TR25W on. High pipe and knobby tires. Onall of my Honda's l never test rode any of them. They were Hondas. I didn't care if they even had a warranty because they were a Honda. Some of my vintage British motorcycles l rode some l just bought. I bought bikes from estate sales. The guy l bought my Triumph TR25W broke his leg and wife said sell the other one. $500 ,miss speedometer but all original,paint # match. I just gave him his asking price. Just loaded it in Boot's van & came home. Maybe insurance might get sued so no more test rides? If you had to have a drive way to park your car on 3/4 of cars in England would be gone . Parking on the street and no more room. Wiggle around cars l can t see it. In Japan 🗾 if you don't have a place to park your car you can 't have one. I would be nervous with my URAL side car outfit. With on coming traffic 🚦.

Now there is no home industry to promote and gas is sky high. In NYC traffic is so bad you can't find a place to park your car regardless. People live their lives W/0 a drivers license. Before gridlock and smog cars were seen as a freedom . Now people see it for the curse that it is. But they are stuck with needing them . Not a luxury but a nessesity you need to survive with. In Florida I had to get a moped because nothing was within walking distance.
I didn't know about BMW 400 had heard of BMW 310GS.Go to Europe they're everywhere especially in Germany where they're frome.BMW GS owners are known as GS Wa#nk*r's probably because they're real popular & everywhere you know how it is guy who came up with the saying probably owned a GS then got another brand & then noticed how many around & came up with saying😂🤣.
