I agree with the tap water vs. bottled water taste when traveling. Oddly enough, the bottled water is often sourced from local water plants. In my hometown, one company bottles our tap water and sells it. Northern California water isn’t too bad…but I filter all my water anyway. And there must be ice, always 🤣
That really was a good price on the burger. I went out of town with friends yesterday and spent $14 on coffee, eggs and bacon for brunch and another $15 on a 1/2 lb burger patty with cheese and bacon for dinner.
We don't go to Vegas any more so it was wonderful to get to see it again. (We went there in the days when there was still sand and cactus between Casinos, and we used real quarters in the slots with pull handles). I liked the Gondola rides at the Venetian. The Mimes that look like statues. We rode motorcycles to the Grand Canyon and it snowed on us. Fun Memories.
I can get 1/4 lb beef patties for $1.50 each at McDonald's, so I get 4 for $6.00 for a lb and they are really good by themselves. No need to buy a whole burger with bun. I have paid $15 for a burger at a bar & grill which was grass fed, local beef. And it's good to. All about where you're at, I guess.
Kids Stratosphere wiggles in the wind. I crawled to look out the windows. The best way to see Vegas is on foot. We never go to old Vegas any more. Go to Belagio! Go to Planet Hollywood! Great little mall there. Planet Dalies has good food.
I don't think the casinos want you to hang out in your room on the internet! Same reason they don't have clocks in the casinos. Glad you went to Fogo de Chao (sp?), I'm really envious! Closest churrascaria to me is a 2 hour drive, and I'm too old to do that for a meal no matter how much I want to. Hoping to get to Vegas next spring, maybe!💞
Have you guys watched Indigo Nili on TH-cam?? She makes so many different recipes with Maria Emmerichs bread recipe.the bread recipe with meat fillings. Super cool. You guys could totally do it on your challenge.
Ok I’m full from my feta cheese meatloaf and yet I find myself snacking, however it’s carnivore snacks. Bacon “chips”, pork skins, butter. I’m not losing weight anymore. I lost 11 pounds in my first 11 days of October carnivor, but now I’m back up to-10 pounds, WHY?
