@@nikkirockznikkirockz8551not everybody can own a business and that’s ok it’s the fact that if you don’t you’re considered a failure. Use critical thinking skills sometimes. 😂
@@KingRose339 exactly my point, like having a regular job isn’t good enough some people simply don’t want the burden of running their own business and that’s ok. We still need teachers, doctors, truck drivers, firemen, etc. like Ti pointed out in one of her recent videos. But it’s being pushed that those jobs aren’t “cool” and you’re going to be considered a “brokie”.
It’s because everything kid-friendly has been stripped away. Cartoon Network, Disney and many more have stopped reeling in kids and have cancelled classics. There is no shops for them or even hang out spots, this how grooming starts-with adultifying children
My ten year old wouldn’t know how to act in a club setting. She has never seen me or my husband intoxicated and doesn’t pretend to be drunk when we have cider. All of this is because we don’t expose her to those things. We not watching videos of these things or participating therefore she has no clue. As she should!!!
That's the people with some parents. They try to make excuses, but they're the problem because they are trying to be their child friend instead of parent. My children have no social media accounts. They don't listen to no rap or negative music. I monitor everything they watch. I want my children to enjoy their childhood. Because being an adult is nothing nice at times. You don't realize what you had until it's gone. Parents need to do better.
Conditioning babies to replicate +18 activities ,but for kids. Thank God i got to experience being a kid in the 90's. Kids brunch back then consisted of a bouncing castle, barney songs, candy, hot dogs and crying because you bumped your knee
You can't argue with parents o the Spectrum, the kiddy cabaret back then had BARNEY AND CLOWNS! GAMES, CAKE, GOODIES AND DANCING.....They ain't the same
We had 13 and up clubs when I was a kid. We used to have fun. But there weren't any bottle service or bottle girls. We literally just went to dance and have a good time.
It was never like this. Even with the foam parties they weren’t grown up like this was. It was a way to do this and they did not execute appropriately.
I May not agree with everything Candace Owens has to say but she wasn’t lying when she said blk culture has been tainted. Prime example is lil RT and his parents are compliant with it. We need to hold these parents accountable
She says a lot of things that I agree with. Hollywood culture has an agenda. They want our kids to be exposed to the worst things that society has to offer
And there was a time when a generation would call you out for that and get ish fixed. But i notice that people are scared of talking to people to stop bad behaviours... maybe because of fear of being attacked.
As a primary school teacher who hears daily conversations from 5-7 year olds....I need parents to do better! Half these kids can't even read but got the latest clothes and iPhones. Hear me when I say...children emulate what they see. With that being said....I really need parents to think about that. I can't even begin to tell you what I've seen and heard in school.
Im a high school teacher. The students don’t know basic math skills or can write a complete sentence. Often complain when they have to read anything longer than a paragraph. One of my recent lessons was going over how to multiply by 5’s and 10’s. They are still having trouble with multiplying to the point I had to hand out the charts again. Mind you these kids are between the ages of 14 to 18. I can go on and on because as the teachers it feels like we’re failing them but I’m not understanding how they have all these electronics and social medias but parents won’t crack down on having an education
Goodness i can just IMAGINE what you hear and see! I REFUSE to allow my child to mature too fast! I also heavily monitor her life and what she’s exposed to. I’m not a prude but I’d never allow my child too much freedom!
I am 51 years old, but when I was 17 years old I participated in a program called Les femmes. It was a program for girls and boys, and we had a beautiful Cotillion at the end. It was a beautiful time to be presented to society by our parents. Those are the types of activities that young children should be involved in. Bring back the debutante balls. Our children would benefit and love those types of activities ❤ You learned etiquette, Black history, finance, and at the end of our classes, you were presented in a beautiful ball. We also did a lot of community service. That's what is needed today❤
Its weird that people say mind your business, these not your kids. You do know that their kids and your kids are going to inhabit the same world. Date these other kids, interact with or be victimized by these kids. It takes a village again reigns supreme. You see how all dem adults in the Ny'ziah harris case ended. Aint no such a thing as mind your business when kids are involved
@@ihearttailsHer aunt pedo husband 🍇 her and unalived her Nd hid her body. He is being charged with it and her body has still yet to be found. The husband was a known pedo and convicted but the aunt did not care. Every adult failed Naziyah 😢
Their imagination is stumped too. We used our imagination even to do adult things such as pretending to smoke the candy cigarettes, doctor, nurse, drive, fly, ride the broomstick as a horse. Even young animals play.
Remember when kids used to compete in the spelling bee, science projects, math contest, where we used to compete across the nation. Best drawings got to be put on tv. Let's bring that back.
Most of the commentators who think this is ok mentioned what they experienced as children that they, themselves, said they shouldn't have been doing. Then, in the same breath, stated they don't see the problem with the kids at the brunch doing similar things. If you thought you shouldn't have been doing it then why say these kids should do it? Doubled-minded people are unstable in all their ways. Me and my sisters bought the bubble gum cigarettes and tobacco, took fake shots, and danced provocatively as kids but we did it amongst ourselves because our parents didn't play that. Kids used to have reverence for their elders and there was a clear line draw when around elders. Let kids be kids! Just because you partied and drank mocktails as a kid and turned out 'ok' doesn't mean other kids that did those things didn't end up going down a bad path. Train a child in the way that they should go typically means training them to do something that promotes enrichment in adulthood. Illiteracy is at an all time high(amongst children AND adults), start a children's book club instead and invite their illiterate elders too.
They are also pretending that this is healthy and normal as opposed to being “sheltered”. My parents set clear boundaries, what was appropriate and what wasn’t. I never acted out once I was of age. I realized it wasn’t my comfort environment and never went nuts despite being “sheltered”. Now some of my peers who were allowed a sip of alcohol as teens, or whose parents were more loose- they continued their partying ways into adulthood. I think there’s a difference between keeping your kids ignorant and setting boundaries for your underage children.
@@whenyouwishuponastar6643 Deep down inside they know its not. People only equate being 'turned out' to intimacy but events like this are form of being 'turned out' to me. They don't realize seeds are being planted during formative years. I thank God for being covered(sheltered). Alcohol addiction has ran rampant, for GENERATIONS, on my paternal side. I'm 31 and don't drink at all. Now imagine if my parents would have made me comfortable enough to act like I was drinking real alcohol. That cosign from my parents would make me more comfortable to try real alcohol when out of their view.
I agree with the clothing. I miss seeing little girls with cute plaits and ponytails with bows and knockers on the ends. Now they all got quick weaves 😕
It's not. Children will ask you everything they want to know. There's never a need to force anything. They naturally just want to be imaginative and socialize with each other through play but the adults keep f*ckin it up!!!
No… there’s already an issue within our community (Black) of the adultification of children. Meanwhile y’all wanna complain about what Elon and Vivek had to say about American culture being trash as a whole. This is a prime example. Smh. 🤦🏾♀️
Serious question do you or people you know behave in this manner?? Why do all black people have to be lumped in with degenerates?? Do you see any other group doing this??
Other people are sending their kids to Saturday school, tutoring, and camp. We complain that the world, especially law enforcement adultifies our children...looks like they aren't the only ones. There isn't anything wholesome for them. We think it's corny. Childhood doesn't exist anymore.
And one of the ladies brought up a good point, even though I don’t think she meant to. We can bring our children into a club environment, but we can’t teach them how to dress up and act for a five star restaurant? Where are our values these days? I’m confused at this point.
See that's the problem with all of society right now. Remember when it took a village to raise children. Now it's whatever that parent wants to do with that child. Bring back telling people they are doing a crappy job as parents. Adults don't even feel comfortable correcting a child throwing things in stores because of what the crappy parent might do.
I just really wish there was a kid's show on the TV. Bright colors, candy, cake, ice cream bar. You know, kid stuff. When I was young, there was a supervised lock in at the skating rink for kids. We danced, ate pizza & had fun. There's a more appropriate way to do a "kid's turn up".
Honestly, people can really let their children watch older shows , my toddler is watching Blue’s Clues from 1996 and he knows no difference because I control the television
This company ain’t slick, they basically wanted to outrage the internet and promote the lounge. I like that the outage did spark the bigger conversation about society adultifying children.
The people who don’t see anything wrong with this, wait till you see the kids faces popped up on deepfake videos. Now I’m going to drink some water and mind my business 🤐
I remember when a young mother was posting model photos of her 4 year old daughter on Facebook back in 2018 and she always went viral. One photo her daughter was bent over her toy jeep. Some comments were saying it was too grown & let kids be kids, while most of the comments were saying stop hating and stop judging. I blame the parents and the “Only God Can Judge” community.
These kids need a new version of Chuckie Cheese's. That brunch is NOT it! I just saw a video where the police handcuffed an 11-year-old. The police chief justified it by saying, "We can't tell how old THEY are." ("They" meaning Black children.) Stop helping make their argument by adultifying children.
Our community needs to do better. This is sad. My kids go to brunch too but we go to familty friendly spots...if it's me and my homegirls then yes we can go be ratchet at 11 oclock on a Saturday morning.
I've started to have my kid listen to bow wow, Lil Romeo, immature, Brandy, TLC, all the 90s groups that i grew up to as well as movies. We had tons of movies geared towards kids, i now have him watchn 90s movies as well and he loves them
I wouldn’t recommend you doing that, it’s just as bad. Being that you are a parent, please do some research and look deeper into what you’re exposing your child to. It’s literally just as bad…🙏🏽🧠👂👁️
Those who are saying they do not see anything wrong with it because they used to do these things coming up, but if I’m not mistaken, they said that they used to do these things coming up at home not in public
This is why my kids stay in the house and when they are "outside" we keep our circle tight with like-minded adults who believe in being present and active.
In some parts of Europe and Latin America we used to have parties for kids called "Matinées" where you could dance, eat sandwiches and candy but we weren't popping bottles. Your parents would drop you at the dance floor and sit at the parents' area. This brunch however seems absolutely ridiculous. What type of culture are we promoting. This is not about kids having fun but making them emulate the most dangerous part of our society. Debauchery and alcohol consumption.
The white lady literally said. "I don't see a problem with it but I would never let my child go to something like that!". That means she definitely sees a problem with it.
To me this is similar to the controversies of letting little girls wear wigs and that class that was teaching kids how to pole dance for “exercise” 😵💫
I think it’s completely inappropriate. The window for childhood is short. You get to be an adult for the rest of your life. My daughter is a junior in high school and I wouldn’t let her go to something like this. I have taken her to brunch and tea to get the experience but it’s nothing like that. It’s just a nice restaurant or tea house/ cafe and we get dressed up. When she was a tween, she didn’t have a phone or social media. We didn’t even let her watch TV or screens on school days. She had activities and sports on Saturdays. There are not a lot of kids friendly spaces, but there are still skating rinks, bowling, movies, arcades, parks, beaches, museums pools in the summer. Parents can create their own spaces for kids, they can hang out at each other’s houses. I didn’t listen to music with profanity around her and I don’t use profanity, nor do I drink. As parents, it’s our job to set the guidelines and to be the example.
Every brunch I've been to, had great food and played smooth jazz! My grandbabies that age like going to the skating rink on Saturdays 1-4 kids hours, then it turns to like 13- 17 from 7-11:30ish. Sunday grown folks skate nite! 🍸🍷🍺 🛼 🤗
14:42 to each its own. I was sheltered and did not go wild... excuses. Nothing about allowing kids to be in adult spaces is safe. Be a parent and provide example and parent.
What kind of brunch has turn up music and bottle girls? I've been to many brunches and usually it's a calm get together where people are catching up and chatting. Yeah, there might be some mimosas, but they're typically served by regular waiters and waitresses. I've lived in NYC, Trinidad, and Florida and have never experienced a full-on party environment at a brunch.
Let’s see if these parents and guardians have the same energy when the kids come home talking about they’re having a baby lol! Shameful and degrading to the community. We need to break the cycle of funkery instead of contributing to the degeneracy.
Here's my take, when I look at children who come from wealth, they are dressed as children and able to be kids, but, I noticed that in the lower class, black, white, latino, etc. It is the opposite and the kids are doing everything but being kids. It also ties in with how some child spaces, take money for your kids to be apart of the little community, such as with extracurricular activities if that makes sense. It is like your kids can't be little kids anymore. Another example, like how those who are wealthy dont let their kids on social media all day every day. They are doing child things or education based things. I could be totally wrong, but where I live, I notice a huge difference. And OF COURSE, NOT ALL. Just a thought.
Exactly these lazy heifers act as though they can't go outside and watch their own children play and enjoy being outside acting like regular kids. That's why by the time they are 12 and 13 they are little arrogant entitled brats.
Then the parents of those same kids will complain and ask why their kids aren’t lawyers and doctors and they will blame the system. The money invested in this party could have been spent elsewhere in something more age appropriate
I frown when I see 10 yr old with fake nails, fake lashes, wearing 2 piece bathing suits and etc. I tell my child everyday it ain’t happening in my house.
Im loving this new setting Ti! You include both sides of the fences, and show people who agree or disagree with the same topic. Thats why I love your videos. Keep up the good work!
They definitely need phones but I think all phones should be locked in each teachers room at the beginning of class, each classroom should have a phone available for parents to call in case of an emergency.. it's way too much crap going on in these schools for our children to not have phones..
If I had the money like that I would rather use the money to take them on trips to different countries learning about different cultures and seeing new environments
@@skyywater2370 Exactly get them passports and show them different people, languages, food, and cultures. Broaden their minds and expose them to a bigger world than they know.
Let the babies be babies, my mum always used to tell me to enjoy my childhood while it’s lasted, Ti you’re absolutely right there is nothing available for children nowadays, before I was made redundant I worked as a youth worker it was scary how much these kids know more about what’s trending on TikTok and Celebrity tea, then they know about Books, Disney, Marvel, even the music they listen is just wild lol, I sound like my parents when I was there age but, we had child related stuff to keep us occupied and we played outside 😅🙈
You're right, I don't even see commercials for kids' toys and food like I use to see on Saturday morning anymore. Black people need to stop adultifying and hypersxualizing their children. It's sick.
This reminds me of when they had them “mommy and me” pole dancing classes. Remember that? Sickening. I want to preserve my child’s innocence as long as possible.
I noticed a trend with a lot of the women’s videos you showed. They were in bonnets and long ghetto nails. I just want to say THANK YOI T for always coming on camera with beautiful makeup & hair nicely & not looking. Like you just rolled out of bed or reporting from your bed. Keep it up!! Also, my son is 8, he’s a kids bop kid, the kids at school speak of crazy things as well and I’m trying to keep him as innocent as long as I can as well. We as kids did things we weren’t supposed to and this is why we try to PREVENT our kids from going down the same road.
We had the “Kiddie Disco” but it was NOTHING like that. There were bows, dresses, lace, suits, dance contests (not raunchy), and censored music. It was a kids environment for kids to be kids.
Yeah. I’m a 25 year old mom with a 6 year old. I refuse to let them around “advanced” children. Some of the stuff they come back and tell me about kids in their school… scares me, how they speak, the songs they sing. My daughter knows better and I only pray she doesn’t follow behind them with all that. My kids play with kids that are their speed, bc kids are being exposed to everything. They can’t be left alone with any of their cousins on dad’s side at all bc of what they seen on a family trip with them. Nope, wouldn’t take my babies nowhere somewhere like this.
And you are absolutely right, mama! Yes, adults unintentionally expose children to words, things and behaviors but many times the children don’t fully understand it. It’s usually kids explaining and showing other kids things.
No!!! Children playing drunk is not funny! Children wilding out is NOT FUNNY noŕ cute!!! Girl, stop talking! Children should not be SABOTAGED BY IDIOTIC ADULTS!!!
Parents failing, they were failing in the 80s & 90s. We did a lot of what ever we wanted 2 do, parents aint got time nor desire 2 keep up with their kids. And yes, there is gonna b even more of a price 2 pay 4 such in the future.
That girl saying partying when you’re younger helps you navigate adulthood….. there are some experiences you’re meant to enjoy at certain life stages. Why would you want to be tired of parties by the time you get to college when college is the appropriate time in your life to have party? People experience everything too fast by the time they get to the time to experience things at an appropriate age they think they’re casket ready. That’s why you have 50 years old acting a fool and 25 year olds that are already tired of life.
The lack of exclusive spaces for children becomes a removal of safe spaces for children. If we don’t see childhood as something special, meaningful, necessary and to be protected, just for them- they won’t. There are foundational and fundamental aspects of growth and development that are present in every experience the child has. To put children in scenarios that are made for adults, makes for missed steps, misdirection and confusion about what we actually value. What will children have to look forward to when participation has no prerequisite. Do the parents not cherish their child’s innocence, the process of nurturing and the confidence they instill in them? Did the parents not value their childhood. If you don’t have the opportunity to navigate your child’s logic and understanding of all you’ve been teaching in playtime… you’ll be re evaluating , putting out fires and supporting the mistakes made in their real life earlier and much more in a nearer future.
We went to kiddie cabarets there was a dj and they showed videos on a projector. We had juice and cookies. This….. too much too soon! We also did lock ins at the church where you stay overnight. We need to let our kids be kids and not put worldly pressure on them ♥️🙏🏽 Make sure your kids know Jesus
It’s really simple just let kids be kids. Be a parent and not their friend 🤦🏽♀️ This needs to stop. They’re failing their children. It’s sick and sad. They keep saying how other ppl raise their kids have nothing to do with with you, wrong it does. Your kids are corrupting and exposing negative language, behavior, habits to other ppls kids. Your bad kids are gonna grow up and become terrible adults, that our adult children have to be around. Keep y’all bad ass kids away from me and mine. Seriously do better
After the 2006 babies shii changed. I was born in 2000 and my cousin were born in 05-07 and it’s different from my cousins born in 2009 and down. They were not like us. Early 2000 kids got to get the best of both worlds and still acted like kids and childish but these kids definitely different asf

IF you're ole' school, you'd Already know that kids have Been "outside", and also that being a "business owner" was and still is a greaT dream to strive for, it just depends on Why and most importantly How you do it!!!

We had all age gogos in DC when I was a kid but it was never like this!
Our skating ring turned into the club... at 7 put those skates up!

I am 51 years old, but when I was 17 years old I participated in a program called Les femmes. It was a program for girls and boys, and we had a beautiful Cotillion at the end. Embarrassing
And where are their fathers?
The fun of becoming an adult is to live the experience out for the first time. I don’t understand how ppl can think this is ok
Fact!
When kids stopped being told to go outside and play is when this started. I agree 💯 that kids do what they see and are around.
Their imagination is stumped too. We used our imagination even to do adult things such as pretending to smoke the candy cigarettes, doctor, nurse, drive, fly, ride the broomstick as a horse. Even young animals play.
Their innocence is snatched almost immediately after being birthed.

This was definitely for the parents to film/take pictures. Because they would've been just as happy, or happier, at a bounce house or arcade

Those who are saying they do not see anything wrong with it because they used to do these things coming up, but if I’m not mistaken, they said that they used to do these things coming up at home not in public
And not in a damn club. They don’t realize that all of these things TOGETHER sends a very different message to an impressionable child
I was wondering where those kids learnt how to dance and behave that way but..... the answer is they parents and their environment
I can't get past it being called "Turn Up Brunch" with all these little kids.... that is crazy 👀😭
It's down right immoral & criminal.
Translation: White kids will not participate in this nonsense. This is okay for black children to help demoralize their generations
She basically said, “those ratchety blacks can do it-just don’t bring that around my white child!” 😂😂
She’s doesn’t see it as a problem for black children, but her white kids wouldn’t be caught in that establishment 👀

Amen! My son is a junior in high school also, and I have raised him the say way.
Every brunch I've been to, had great food and played smooth jazz! My grandbabies that age like going to the skating rink on Saturdays 1-4 kids hours, then it turns to like 13- 17 from 7-11:30ish. Sunday grown folks skate nite! 🍸🍷🍺 🛼 🤗

Generational curses just keep on going

Yeah. I’m a 25 year old mom with a 6 year old. I refuse to let them around “advanced” children. Some of the stuff they come back and tell me about kids in their school… scares me, how they speak, the songs they sing.
