Launch of the largest yacht ever built by a Turkish shipyard

The largest yacht ever built by a Turkish shipyard so far, with a hull of 80 meters and a weight of 1.680 gross ton, has been successfully launched. The super yacht was built by Bilgin Yachts in West Istanbul Marina. 64 axle self propelled modular trailers (SPMT) powered by 4 power pack units were used to load the yatch onto the floating deck. West İstanbul Marina’daki tesisinde Bilgin Yatçılık tarafından üretilen 1.680 gros ton ağırlığındaki yat, 80 metre uzunluğundaki gövdesi ile Türkiye’de şimdiye kadar üretilen en büyük yat olma özelliğini taşıyor. 4 adet güç ünitesine bağlı, 64 akslı kendinden tahrikli modüler treyler (SPMT) ile taşınarak yüzer havuza yüklenen süper yat, törenle suya indirildi.
