I would be really worried about theft as we are the bike theft capital of Canada! People can break the locks in seconds so I'm really worried to leave an expensive scooter outside even for 5min.
This is everybody’s concern. According to my experience, i would say you can’t leave your scooter unlocked for even a minute. 70% of apartments allowed to bring you scooter inside. In case if scooter is prohibited you can lock your scooter with a strong pole outside or there are bike stand at every residential building. Get a good quality of lock from canadian tire and also lock your bike via the app (Ninebot has this feature i don’t know about others). You have to be fast while delivering the package whenever you leave you scooter outside. Moreover i thinks almost every restaurant allows to take the scooter inside if not place you scooter from where you can see it. I always ask restaurant if the order is ready or not if not i always stand outside with my scooter.

I’ll explain you, so in the first step you have to upload documents at uber driver app( study permit or work permit and one piece of id). 2nd step is background check which will be done by third party you will receive an link for background check on you email. follow the instructions and complete the background check it will take around 48 hrs or sometimes more once it done you are ready to go.
