Hell yeah bro I'm trying so hard to get out of my piece of junk 5th gen lol. Personally I'd go for the 3rd gen ('88 to '91) but hell yeah 1st gens are alot more rare enjoy it man
Bro, rev-matching takes maybe a day to get down and a month to become second nature. Clutch in, little blip, clutch out. You also don’t want to be rolling to a stop in neutral. It’s always better to downshift and stay in gear. You never know when you’re gonna need to accelerate. Just practice. Nothing to dread or avoid. You’ll have it down in no time.
1. I think nissan must use a similar design for their manual transmissions. I have a 2013 nissan sentra with an M6. I was going to work on Monday and my clutch gave out. It's currently in the shop now. Better than getting their CVTs though. 2. That oil and cooling setup sounds like what they did with the G35. Many owners of those cars get aftermarket transmission coolers.
A warning sign I had with my z's csc is you'll start hearing the throwout bearing when you press the clutch. It will sound like a dried up bearing spinning underneath your car.
Dude I see you driving by where I used to live in the video lol. That’s so funny. You should put something together for people in Houston to meet up with you/each other
Iv got 2015 370z auto. Runs fine with 30,000 miles. Bought it from an older lady that drove it only 5,000 miles a year and keeps it in the garage. It does slow down at around 30mph when it shifts from 3rd to 2nd gear it feels like I'm hitting the break for a sec then frees up. Idk why it does that. I changed the transmission fluid twice witch helped but still kinda doing it
CJM aluminum top hat from Z1 will fix that top hat problem and your gas gauge will work again that’s what I had to do and CSC delete kit and new clutch from Z1
Ive had a buddy sheer the stock fuel pump basket clean off on a track. They do make metal replacements but money. the good thing is Walbro 255s are like 50 bucks.
I have never heard of Z fuel pumps going out 🤷♂️ I know quite a few people with high mileage Zs and I have one myself no issues. Maybe unlucky I suppose
If I had the money for a 370 I’d buy one but since I’m broke Im buying a 97 Miata and saving up for the next 5 years while I build it than I’ll buy a used 400z :D
so out of ur opinion my homie has a 335i that is making 535 whp and all i got is a stock 2012 370z with an isr exhuast and a y pipe what will i have to do to beat him lol
You brought an Auto because of that when you could of just brought a CSC delete kit from Z1 which is an easy fix which is what me and my friends that have Z’s did now our cars are as good as new with no issues
@@jamesturner2329 I'm not selling my Z, but I am trying to purchase a MK2 TT-RS. They're so rare that I'm not able to find much content about them on youtube, or online in general. Do you own one or are you knowledgeable about the platform?
Damn I have zero issues from my Z
Gonna be buying a 1981 Honda Prelude in about 2 weeks and can't wait to do these kinds of videos

I can try 😅
My only concern is the engine space work on 350 and 70 z's nice cars but there's no room for error or personal touch or fbo work etc etc
My guy u don’t need to be in 6th doing 30
What year is this 370?
Rev marching ain’t hard.. learned it imma few hours 🤣
It’s not hard but if you put it in neutral while slowing down it revs the car for no reason
not everyone learns things at the same rate in case you have never realized that

how much is it to turbo and get everything else for the turbo to be maintained .
