Just stayed at the Linq earlier this month. We had a king room, nothing fancy. The room luckily over looked the pool so it was a decent view, but it was high up enough that it wasn't too noisy. For a standard room it was bigger then expected. It looked bigger in person then it did in photos. The linq truly is prime location. Easy to get to many places. It's a party hotel for sure, we didn't go to party, but we still enjoyed the stay. Lots of food, the sushi burrito place, jabarritos was so good we went twice. Virgil's bbq was awesome too and gordon's fish and chips. We decided when we go back, we will stay there again. 👍 😁
Not sure why I like your channel so much. I really don’t like Vegas or gambling but your channel is really great. Like your style, your presentation, the way it is edited and your humility. Like your humor without it being over the top.
I just discovered your channel and I’m hooked! I used to go to Vegas every year with my bestie for our “no kids/no Hubby” girlfriend trip. We haven’t done it for two years and I really miss it. She gambled and I saw the sights 😁 Thank you Ruby for sharing Vegas so I can still enjoy it
This was an awesome and PERFECT review of this place! in our Linq VS Flamingo video, we explained the Linq in the same way you did at the end - almost word for word! I really want to go back and stay in one of those rooms that are connected to the pool before we get too old 😂😂 Amazing cinematic opening, as always 👌 - Justin
I stayed there last month. Said yes to daily maid service at check in. They never showed up once. We had to empty my own garbage. We had to call twice to ask for towels and almost had to buy our own toilet paper. Did get my resort fees comped though.
I stayed there, when it was the Imperial Palace,Quad. Was approached by a substitute while playing slots. Be in Vegas in November. Not sure where yet. Good video.
Nice review Ruby, love your intro also! I've checked in to other hotels in Las Vegas like Bellagio, Caesars and other Caesars Company Hotels but I always come back on The Linq, the casino is pretty generous, i love the promenade, they have good restaurants and the rooms are decent too. Theres two things that needs fixing though, parking and elevators, its either broken or theres always a wait to go.
That is a king jr suite. The full size suite has a second half bathroom by the entrance, and a second closet space in the bedroom. It's basically two rooms stitched together, with a closet where the door in the bedroom should be.
Wow the quality of these videos is amazing! Been binge watching your content and it’ also a good example of improvement! Your first videos were good then they got better! Cool style and fresh ideas! And the MUSIC SELECTION!!! Keep up the great work guys!! Subscribed!
man.... big room but they sure have a rowdy demographic that parties and its a facility that doesn't clean. Chillllllle THAT SOCK! LOL. Greatly appreciate the video TR!
This was my go to hotel. But standard rooms are small and I value space more now. It’s in a great location, loved getting back from the club and having a ton of food options nearby to soak up the alcohol. If you’re there to party I recommend. Walls are thin and you can hear everything, if you like getting a solid amount of sleep stay elsewhere.
I agree about the standard rooms but I’ve never had issues upgrading and doing so was reasonable. Pro tip is to leave the fan on the Air Con running it will drown out the majority of noise.
It’s been a few years now since I’ve stayed but I’ve always enjoyed staying at The Linq. The location is unbeatable and I enjoyed the young vibe it has. That said it seems to be on a bit of a decline. I hear they are putting in new elevators so hopefully that’s a sign that they aren’t going to let things slide too far.
It's an average hotel and one of the cheaper ones, so that and what is around is the best thing about it. However, for my experience, I never really felt safe staying there. It's a bit dark in the hallways and elevators. To get to the parking was a bit confusing, and the parking lot has a terrible layout as well. Room wasn't even ready when I used the self kiosk at 6pm, which is after the 4pm check-in time (every other place I've stayed is at 3pm). So we were confused and a guy helped us redo it with the self kiosk check in and were able to get our room. He claimed we did not have to even check out. It is automatic. That sounded sus, so I double checked with him and he said you really don't have to. I called guest services on day of checkout and they said you do have to check out. Also the the air conditioner is a very loud unit attached to the wall/counter. It isn't a central one. Dirty as well.
the hallways are the best part but alright I can see why the checkout was sus. I would had checked out regardless. Probably why the room wasn't ready smh
I stayed at the old Imperial Palace many years ago. Have read a lot of bad reviews about the Linq but it seems you were pleased with your stay overall.
This is where I plan on staying for my birthday in June 2023. I love all of your videos they have helped me plan a lot. This will be my first trip to Vegas and it will be checked off of my bucket list lol I will also be going solo. if anyone else has done Vegas solo please comment me some tips Thanks Ruby and Mr. Ruby!
Ya the Linq looks as rough in the morning as most of their patrons. We’ve stayed there for it’s location cause you can’t beat it. Thanks for the review, Ruby!
The first few years I was going to Vegas, I always stayed at the Imperial Palace (now The Linq). It’s a super convenient location. And those elevators have always sounded like that.
The Linq is not my kind of place, but they have one thing that I think was really smart. The rooms around the pool have sliding doors that open up to an INCLUDED cabana. So if you're a pool party person, this place has a cool room for you. (I wrote this before getting to the end. I should have known you'd mention it.)
That room is definitely big! My hubby and I stayed there when we got married and it was still the IP, and that suite was bigger than our apartment in LA. I loved seeing how they have renovated it!!
Didn’t even realize this was imperial palace previously - walked through that hotel back in 2000. I’ve stayed at the linq 5 times: the location is great, the back parking lot is awesome if you have a car, I don’t use any of the amenities, & the location is pretty much the best on strip for accessing other properties / eats. This last stay the min fridge still had Mexican food from previous guest. I think they are short staffed from cvd.
I stayed at The Linq when they were still finishing it. The MOST comfortable bed I have ever slept in while in Las Vegas. I love that promenade!! Do they still leave candy for you after they clean the room?
@@carlblumenstock338 This was about 6 years ago. They would straighten up the room daily unless you left the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door. I was there for 6 nights and each day the chambermaids left a package of candy larger than the day before. It was nice.
Your blue outfit look so cute and cozy! That elevator seemed a bit scary... thought you were going to get stuck at on point, glad you didn’t 😊 Pleasantly surprised by your suite. Very nice room!!
Thanks for the review Ruby. I’m planning to go to Vegas next year. I know I wouldn’t want to stay at the LINQ after your review. I’m looking more of a quiet laid back hotel and not so much party scenes atmosphere.
Don't mess with our fish and chips. The only thing you need to add is mushy peas. No dirty fries, No dipping sauce. if you want condiments then its salt, malt vinegar and Brown or tomato sauce(ketchup) Brown sauce really. :)
Stayed here about a month ago. June 2024. Pool was packed with late 30s-mid 40s party girls peacocking. Which was fine because I’m an older guy. But I thought it geared for a younger crowd than that and it was kind of sad to be honest. Decent room. Great location. Decent option. Prefer the pool at Red Rock or Paris though. Maybe I was there on an off day?
I stayed here back in 2011'ish on my first ever trip to Vegas when it was the 'Imperial Palace' (as featured in the Austin Powers movie!!) and it has DEFINITELY come a long way since then to the point that it's unrecognisable, but in a good way (especially the rooms!!). So Ruby, when are you guys braving Circus Circus or are you saving that place for a Halloween special lol?!😆
We have stayed at the linq 2 times already and love it. We do want to try different hotels though. Preferably cesars hotel. The best feature was needing a card to click your floor. Keeps people off your floor running being childish. We did book a smokers room which had a shit view and its elevator was by the monorail but still love the linq.
😂 why did that lady look so scared to ask for a chair? That suite was really nice (minus the random socks lol) and I agree, LInQ's for sure a party hotel with a lit pool. Dope video! Music was 🔥
I have stayed here twice. Last room was a suite. I reccomend it if you have a group and split the cost. Love the location! The elevators...horrible!! We almost missed a few uber's because of them, so slow and janky, there were also lines to get on them. The price, location, and food and dining options are worth the stay to me. I would stay again and check out the pools scene. I feel you did this one justice Ruby! Accurate and awesome review!
I used to go the Hash House Go Go late late night and early morning around 2 am when the Casino & Hotel was called the Imperial Palace, and the breakfast was outstanding. There were still a lot of cheap eats around especially for breakfast then.
Linq is a good value property. It’s not the most luxurious space but it does what it does well. The pool party EVERY DAY was a blast. We went to another property to their pool and wanted to be back at the Linq. Is it a massive Day club, nope. But that’s a good thing. It’s an affordable cabana and it’s a lot of fun. It’s a top choice every time now.
Not the hotel for me! It was so dirty and the beds were really ruff. The sheets were terrible! You would need to be lit to think the Linq was a good choice. We pick it because of the location only! Going across the street next trip!
I have no complaints about staying @ The LinQ (stayed during Valentines Day 2019) Paid $30 extra per night for a suite. Location was perfect. Great intro Ruby !!!! Thank you.
The casino area looked real fun and the decor was nice, not themed like most of the hotel/casinos are throughout Vegas. I don’t think me and my husband would stay at the LINQ since we’re about thirty years past being in our twenties! Lol, but it did look dirty and not well taken care of, that stuff you showed was just nasty! But we still like to have fun and enjoy good food and shop and play at the casinos, listen to live music, sight seeing all around Vegas and outside of Vegas. I know my younger cousins would really enjoy staying there, especially the pool area. Thank you for sharing. 😁💖

Cheap food on the strip? 😂 Flamingo does have a food court, also Harrahs Fulton Court has some good options. The wife and I enjoy the Noodle Bar there. A good thing to do is have a fridge in room and go to CVS and load that puppy up. 🙂👌

So who thinks those socks are still there?
🧦👃🧦
If she looked better inside the cabinets in the Suite, she'd probably would have found the owners of those socks still there
They still there and probably still sitting in the same spot loool
Hi, Ruby
I would be a little concerned if socks were still in the room, I would start to think of the lack of cleaning!😩

Anybody else say to themselves when they seen Ruby in the pool...."yeah...no".
Ruby obv understood cause she immediately took a shower afterwards 😆
Its a covid bath, small and full of kids usually and the smaller other pool is warm and literally 2 ft. deep not kidding, its useless.
Stayed at Linq in 2019. Had the suite and our mini fridge was packed with Coors Lights from whoever had the room before us. Had a blast!

Way nicer than when I stayed there when it was Imperial Palace.
Elevator has been upgraded since IP

Not easy I'm sure

When I stayed at Harrah's we walked through The Linq all. the. time. What I noticed was they always had the BEST music playing in the casino!

lol. Those elevators. I'm thinking they're the *SAME* elevators circa Imperial Palace days (man, were they THAT slow)
@@tomvu1470 No clue as I’ve only ever known the property as The Linq.

Perfect area to stay! Fremont Street is fun!
@@stgalaska It seems like it is. I am loving the idea of the art district!
Even the regular rooms are great.. And honestly.. Location is best..
When this place was the Imperial Palace, I always thought they would implode the old dump. It looks like they did a good job of refurbishing it.
This is where I'm staying at when I go to Vegas this fall.I like that it has Guy Fieri's restaurant and In-N-Out burger close by.
That cut of Gordon Ramsay had me rollin’!!! I’m dead! Props to Mr. Ruby on these edits

Have you been on the High Roller? That is an amazing ride.

Thanks for this. I liked when it was the imperial with the dealers doing entertainment inbetween. Wont stay there but do gamble there
