    Great video! I have a rough idle too, thinking of diy it!!!! One question, regardless of M3 manual or competition would you use same length for the spark plugs??? I mean is a S58 but no harm in asking. Thank you!

      Correct, it is the same spark plug.

      Loaded question. My answer their all overpriced cookie cutter modular doo doo. Just can’t afford a Porsche so M3 it is.

      @@znmperformanceas far as BMW cars and sports sedans go, you have the best one. The S58 is a savage and seems to be a well built and reliable engine. I just hit 13k in mine and have had zero issues. I’m about to do the spark plugs, radiator flush, transmission flush, new brake pads and oil.

    Please stop clapping your hands in front of your mic. Otherwise, great video. I'm curious why you gapped to 0.022 when you said you're stock instead of staying with the 0.030 from factory. I'm also confused why you're running a 40 weight oil, when again, you're stock. I understand if you're running corn, but you're stock. I'm so confused.

      @@cwx8please explain how I answered my own question. Unless you mean my ethanol comment, but that’s not necessary on normal pump fuel levels. They explicitly said they were stock.

      I’m aware I have a habit with the clapping. I’ll do my best to stop.
      So spark plug gap has absolutely nothing to do with E85 content.
      Heat range on plug and combustion chamber pressure/temp is our correlation here. If you work backwards from there you can argue that yes alcohol allows you to cool everything down drastically in the combustion chamber….but the flip side is you can pop a big turbo, go 93, yield a delta of 400hp over stock, you’ll need a colder plug with a tighter gap. I was planning to install a piggyback shortly after I did plugs.

      Factory is 0.030? I thought stock was 0.022

    I4 m50 is cheaper more powerful from the factory and way less maintenance to worry about

      Lmaooooo electric cars here we go. Yes and the lithium was mined using fossil fuels and to end that batteries lifecycle also takes fossil fuels. I also missed the memo where lithium is apparently an infinite resource.
      Give me my gasoline engines please and thank you.
