Great video Johnny. I’m working on getting my Tuesday evenings cleared up again to get back involved. Folks, Johnny has a great patreon environment set up. It’s very warm and inviting with nothing but positivity and Johnny sharing his passion. It’s a great experience and more than reasonable amount to join. Your missing out if you’re not involved. Be safe in your travels Johnny and looking forward to speaking to you soon brother. Blues on!
Hey, Johnny...sounds like Walter jumped a chord change during his solo...and comes in early with the vocal. But.young Freddie stuck with him - and it all resolved nicely. Johnny, great lesson - it's like you were at the session! Thank you (again) for your insight and skill! Pure blues gold here!
Thank goodness for you, Johnny!! Who else is sharing such a passionate path of down to earth interest in carrying these phenomenal artistic styles and creations onto the next generation?!
There are some other folks who fit that description, Mark mumea and Tommy Harkenrider for example imo. Thanks so much for your kind words, Keep picking!
right on terry thanks for watching man! I always tell folks if you can learn all the little walter guitar parts, you are just about ready for anything blues related on guitar.
Love you Johnny but still just as confused about the guitar playing on this song. Meaning you can't duplicate Luther on this song. for some reason he had the right feeling and TONE that day.
@@JohnnyBurginBlues I got one for you the Charley Patton turn around in Dirt Road Blues . took me 3 weeks of trying then yesterday i got it . Take a look on youtube there's lots of guitar players doing this song but they miss the turn around. And i think I figured it out because I was tapin my foot right that night. lol.
Thank you so much! Ive been searching for a lesson on this song. It's one of my favorites!

that's an honest criticism. it's so hard to break down those furious flurries. I will try to come back to some similar Luther stuff and do it better.
