It is the only fossil fuel expected to grow beyond 2030, peaking in 2037. From 2035 to 2050, gas demand will decline by 0.4 percent. This relatively moderate decline is due to hard-to-replace gas use in the chemical and industrial sectors, which limits the impact of an accelerating decline in gas used for power." So it looks to be relatively flat between today and 2050. With more countries getting into LNG, I can see their being a pushdown on the LNG prices. Qatar also has 100 or so year of reserves based on current production rates. I don't think Qatar is in that much trouble but they still have to diversify because the up and down markets and uncertainty of the future.

Back when the gulf countries imposed restrictions on Qatar, Emir Al Thani brought all intelligent people in table and we saw what happened after that. Iran is culturally rich and prosperous. It ain't need any as the Iranians are the stronghold of faith, loyalty and education & good cultured women & thousand years of old civilization which is still growing strong. Every country has rich and poor divide. Economy is run by the foundation of poor & middle class people which will always be in that way. Qatar invested in Liquid Gas before the whole world. They literally invented a methodology to liquify it and then transport it. Also they have a gigantic fund same as Norway.
You should also include how Qatar treats foreign low income labours. Paying them in peanuts, making them work 12 hours a day and holding onto their passports so that they can't quit.
Not to forget the 15,000 plus foreign workers who already died for the sake of a show off World Cup. I can’t comprehend why a country this rich is treating the foreign low income workers so bad.
of course the dark side is that this was one of the golf countries that spent the most on financing the war that destroyed Syria (like hundreds of Billions of dollars) ... . The plan was to pass a gas pipeline from the golf through Syria and which would go either to Turkey and than to Europe or to the eastern mediteranean (either Syria or Tripoli Lebanon) and than under the sea in a pipeline to Europe. Europe wanted to not be dependent on Russian gas... instead they ended up with millions of refugees where the majority is hard to integrate since they are coming from very conservative/religious rural Syria...

And remember the Qatari emir is highly educated compared to other arab emir. He is visionary. Back when the gulf countries imposed restrictions on Qatar, Emir Al Thani brought all intelligent people in table and we saw what happened after that. The same country which had to import Vegetables from India started growing them in their own land. The project was so successful Qatar now export some of those crops to nearby country. Instead of building Tall skyscrapers Qatar let many European companies to open their office for less taxes which brought innovations.
But deep down all these are meaningless until we take back Jerusalem

Ever heard of the Qatar investment authority ,should have covered it up .....
Thank you Uptin you deserve more views...Qatar is rich Because of gas and other resources and low population and good government
as iranian my country are very rich and has second gas resources after Russia but the people are poor compare to those GCC countries even with countries without any resources because we have bad governments and corruption ..I hope change everything
Sanctions along with corruption is also another aspect
Iran has more than 80 million Iranians, whereas Qatar has just around 300 K Qataris. The embargo has also been hurting Iran
@@containedhurricane
Fertility rate in Iran is about 1.9
Iran is culturally rich and prosperous. It ain't need any as the Iranians are the stronghold of faith, loyalty and education & good cultured women & thousand years of old civilization which is still growing strong. Every country has rich and poor divide. Economy is run by the foundation of poor & middle class people which will always be in that way. The qataris might live with three extra imported wives but the workers live in caged conditions & just food as the resource & little or no money.

Its shows how US and britian is still to this day looting your country.
fun fact
despite is size qatar has the same natural gas deposit as russia
which would translate to even more way they could be the richest nation on earth by overflowing surpluss revenue and investing it to global market so it would grew even more
@Bub Ibju nah bruh small nation + small population means less money to spend
most of the qataris are millionaires and billionaires so the government doesn't have to spend a dime to their healthcare and financial assistance
because of their small land and already progressed infrastructures the government doesn't also have to spend a dime for roads hospitals schools bridges and so on and so forth
which equates to more money to get and no money to spend in 2021 alone they made $87.2 billion in oil and gas industry and there's not indication of it stopping in any near future even if the oil industry becomes worthless because of the ev and solar emerging markets they could still rake in billions with their gas deposits
Stop saying bad stuff . Live in Baltimore City and have sqeegie kids run up to yyiu , and high crime and homeless . Live in Peace of Christ in Qatar

Damn
Europe don't have Syrian refugees but turkey have Syrian refugees ....west is not that good that they will allow refugees to stay in their countries whole world know the stance of west properly .....😂🤣 We will keep ukraine refugees but not Syrian refugees ....no doubt turkey hate you a lot now after all they are bearing the cost of Syrian refugees not some west countries
Please make a video about how employees are treated in Qatar. Especially workers from india, pakistan, they treat them like animals also people who work in customer's servuce . So what is the point to be the wealthiest coutry in the world while treating people like shit?
No one is forcing them to work there Everyones free to leave. You are jsut jealous of QATAR.Because iam, just now i came to know that qatar citizens have free everything,The govt gives them 1000m land, money to built, international school fees free, water ,electricity free,no tax,No university fee.
Isnt this how every country should be???Prioritising their citizens. Those migrant workers are ready to suffer because their very own country doesnt give a damn about them.
Even American (the so called first world country, where california should be named as "shittyfornia") citizens are being looted by their very own govt.

Why qatar soo rich best answer not just oil but leadership
Lots of countries have oil but go to politicians pocketsfirst
Syria has oil
Entire Middle East has oil from iraq all the way till algira
There policy should align with the west. Otherwise it wouldn't take much to destabilise countries like Qatar.

Even Japan without much natural resources is rich. Every country can be rich if they get rid of corruption, invest & develop their human resources.
So are South Korea and Singapore.
As someone who's lived in Qatar, the country is not all luxury and Disney land, you're in the nicest part of Doha, which is called Pearl Island. A small trip to the Old Airport neighborhood or any other part of Doha would blow your mind of how underdeveloped those areas are.

Countries like Qatar also invest in American and European companies to have a nice cash flow when oil sector dies out.
