mannn, this has 600 views? i love this cute community, 40 comments full of inspirational stories, what i would like to add is the differentiation between blond and blonde on the album/cover, stating that this albums doesn't have any genderborders, or that frank isn't afraid to show his feminine side, also, the green hair on the cover is 'stained' because of the bleach in pools, referring to his childhood, where his blond hair would turn green because of swimming the whole holiday
also genius has a lot of additional info on the album regarding specific parts of the lyrics, self control for example being about a past relationship with a model, in any reaction to better understand the background genius is an awesome tool

ive watched so many first reactions just so I can try to feel the way the reactor feels because it brings me much more joy similar to when i first heard it years ago. I liked the facial expressions you made throughout and im glad you appreciate it even though it was made 5 years ago lol

Blonde has so many roads and meanings. Of of course there’s a required love attempts and breakups but there so much more under the surface. It talks about money and fame and how it can cause a god completely and put you in a continuous trap. There’s also this feeling and acceptance of death, the album feels like his life coming to an end, the beginning being sad but optimistic and by the middle feeling hopeless and the end is Acceptance. He also touches on how he would self medicate by using drugs and how it lead him to the edge. It also talks about how the internet has completely taken over our lives even relationships. I also like the references of 2pac with the Im living another man’s dream, how he take in the homeless, and how he’s try to find 2pac. He references 2pac based on how he escaped the cage. How he was able to have money but wasn’t greedy with his money. He helped people the best he could, 2pac went to the lengths to open a mansion purely for the homeless to stay. I think frank heard this and realized he could escape the trap as well, that he could change.
Great reaction as always, just so you know the song "Nights" is important to the album (besides being my favorite song with self control) in that the beat switch happens exactly halfway through the album runtime. It also shows the separation in the album and possibly Frank's sexuality as you'll see the word "blonde/blond" spelled both the masculine and feminine way
