I’ve heard this too yeah. I just finished working on my next video about importing maps, models, weapons, animations, etc into Blender and will look into importing CS2 demos into SFM in the video after that. Do you have any demo files I could test this with? Afaik CS2 still doesn’t record demos of comp matches.
@@Rocklan a question that comes to mind on this topic, will it be possible to do POV's from SFM? And will it be possible to have the killfeed there aswell, so we are able to completely skip the ingame recordings?

unfortunately does not pick up the campath :( did everything properly twice and printed them out to check and can't quiet figure it out any common issues that could arise from this?
fantastic video, I personally would love to see some more s2fm tutorials, and I feel like there aren't a lot of s2fm tutorials on youtube, and the ones that are up on youtube kind of already assume you know a lot about SFM- a nooby guide would be great!

Is there any way to use S2FM with demos to get player movement in the clip? it's actually insanely easy to make campaths but im wondering if there is any need for HLAE if you could do that easily
Hey, is there anything you can do to prevent player models from being faster than the camera path? i find my self creating a great path, but it all falls apart when the players end up outpacing it. Any suggestions?

How do creators make custom cinematics with player models not from demos? With the ability to have the models do what you want, actions outside of the game?

I need help with HLAE. Everytime I open the console and close it, the camera slows down more and more
is there a reason why shadows are not drawing right on certain maps (in my case mirage) and why the shadow draw distance on certain objects is very low? any fix for these issues?

great video. I'm having an issue with my character model not being visible when I view the demo. Is there an easy way to resolve this?
In my demos with bots got some missing sounds like Shooting and footstep and some model are not visible too.. Did you resolve that problem?
How to do basic cinematic while being ingame offline map?
After like 30 or so minutes playing around, and than obviously 3 or 4 hours erasing everything and starting over to get an even more crispy demosmooth i am happy to say this tutorial is the tits. thanks for this I am an old man used to the demosmoothing within the game in source like over a decade ago. Just getting back into it and this is going to be a game changer for the quality of my videos, especially for longer more drawn out throughout the round clips.

Hey i was trying to download HLAE via the link given in the description (context: i already had HLAE, i just had to reinstall windows due to some errors), but windows is now detecting the files as trojan viruses (files on the site were updated 3 days ago). Can you look into this?
