Apparently, I can't count very goodly. That was 9 tricks + 2 Bonus ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ If you haven't seen the first 8 tricks video, you can watch that here ▶︎ goo.gl/lmhzpC
Dude @Day light every time I see your avatar I think I have a piece of my hair on my monitor haha! I agree though, mad skills Phil... good stuff to practice when I can't ride the trails.
(a.k.a. Dlopeparo) - Big THANK YOU to you and your buddies (Alexander, Brian, and Seth). Had a stellar ride today and in better condition than ever because of your channel. You and the others kept me motivated to continue my off-season conditioning on my boring ass trainer and to mentally prepare for more aggressive riding. I've never rode better in my life (I am 46 years old). Keep up the great work. THANK YOU!
Looking good dude! Just for reference, you did a foot plant. A fast plant is when you jump off a ramp but plant your foot at the top of the ramp before you take off.
try the flicky thing just with puddles and a friend on the other side -> instant cycle water fight and the ways in-between trails becomes a whole lot more exciting.
Not sure what Phil is wearing (although they look cool af). But, you can't go wrong with a pair of 510 Freeriders and a good set of flats (I like Wellgo MG-1's). The shoes are a bit pricey (~100-120$), but if you shop around you can usually find them on sale. Hope this is helpful. Flats=fun
Skate shoes are a good option for sure. I'd say the 510's have two advantages; a much stiffer sole, and extra sticky rubber compound/ tread designed to grip flat pedals. Maybe that's three advantages..... Skate shoes are not a bad option, just not as good.
Hi Phil, great tricks, I liked the nollie (from Pt.1). After many a moon's practice I can finally wheelie, I now fancy the one hander (as you show) but I am stumped! How do you let go without the whole bike immediately twisting? When I wheelie I can feel quite a bit of weight through my hands..., so letting go with one hand seems like it will result in an uncontrollable twist and crash! Hope you can help!
Try track standing on a slight hill. Use the incline to push you backward while using your drivetrain to keep you in place. It's a little trick at first but not super hard to pick up.
hey, phil love your vids man are you going to race the nc races on your evil? or you are going to buy a dh bike? keep up the good work +Skills With Phil
you're super cool phil!! i really enjoy your video and the tricks, especially the flicky thing :D. hey phil why dont you give us video about street trials too.. \M/
That's a bit out of my league. I can do very very basic street trialsy stuff, but I'm far from a Trials rider. I don't want to spread bad information. Downhill mountain biking and a bit of Dirt Jumping are my jam.
Hey phil can you give me some advice as im proably getting the cane creek double barrel coil its for enduro and a bit of downhill usage and your thoughts on the vivid air as that was another option. Ps i like the coil better.
u missed telling that you have a dope indepth video on how to kickflip.. and to add a link in the description.. anyways.. love these type of vids.. helps warm up and improve bike control
Since I ride trials, i sometimes hop on an object, but if it’s too high, I end up hopping backwards off the object and doing a fakie out. I didn’t even know it was called an „abubuca“😂
Yikes - I'm still learning the previous eight! I always thought a track-stand was so named as the bike is 'standing still' rather than the rider was standing. Remaining in the saddle while track-standing doesn't really make it any harder (although a lower gear is needed), and it looks cooler at traffic lights. That said I learned to track stand on a road bike.
I did two footplants yesterday on accident, and I was on level ground... It was kind of funny, cuz I was trying to do a manual, but it turned into a sloppy foot plant when I lost balance and flung the bike around, while staying on it somehow...
idk how you do these tricks! I just got a full suspension downhill bike and can't even do a bunny hop. Any tips? (my bike weights around 40lbs, much more from my hardtail.)
Apparently, I can't count very goodly. That was 9 tricks + 2 Bonus ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Skills With Phil awesome video! #snapsquad
Skills With Phil Whats the weight of your bike ?
The TH-cam Dragon Slayer you should be fine, mountain bikes are sturdy
I think it's because you had already mentioned the crankflip in a previous video :)
Dude @Day light every time I see your avatar I think I have a piece of my hair on my monitor haha! I agree though, mad skills Phil... good stuff to practice when I can't ride the trails.
I like to front wheel skid with my face
:( don't do that.
Hah
Me too
Think a game of bike could be in order... Liked this list of tricks! Nice one dude!!!
This would be supremely epic, count me in!
Scotty Laughland As long as you do the manuals without pedalling, otherwise it's a wheelie😂✌
Yes please. There is definitely a shared fan base who would love to see this. It would be great to see GMBN collab with some other youtubers!
dude... your pofile pic just made me mad, i thought there was a hair on my screen and couldnt get rif of it!! LOL
dude your videos just keep on getting better and better
im still learning how to do a wheelie well :D but i gotta say that endo is super easy
Remember to keep your arms straight and do the wheely in one motion in a pro

You are Awesome Phil !! Legend!!!! Original!! the real Deal about be a biker!!!!! Thanks for all knowledge you spreading around!!!!!!!
Hey Phil, I think it would be cool if you could teach us tricks that can be applied to jumps such a no-handers, 360,s, and knack-knacks. Just an idea.
Go to GMBN the have videos on jumping tricks.
Blake is freaking killing it over on GMBN with the tricks series. He's one of the best additions to that team. Such a good personality.
3:08 my shins were literally sweating
Great video! Great tricks and the explanations in your voiceover are very helpful.
Thank you Vil! Happy trails my friend!
You are really skilled at these tricks. Thanks for the video.
1:07 If you fail that trick, RIP balls.
The Finnish Crash - MTB Everything ai moi suomalainen
awesome vid..... thanks Phil..... definitely add some style points out on the trail!!
Looking good dude! Just for reference, you did a foot plant. A fast plant is when you jump off a ramp but plant your foot at the top of the ramp before you take off.
Front wheel skid is harder to do (but possible) with a plus bike
I never tried it with a plus size bike, I'll have to give that a go.
Phil, your tricks are SUPER clean! I'm impressed!
I try! I used the best clips which also helps. I messed up a few times on a lot of them :P
Ha. Well it came out great!
Wonderful work phill ,you are the best in bike skill from Nigeria😏
one of your best how to videos.
Awesome tricks! These are perfect for right now because it rained yesterday, so the trails are all wet!
Phil these videos are great. I'm literally trying all of these in the yard behind my house. Finally managed a hop!
nice compilation again, thx! some of them r gonna be part of our next game of bike ^^
i can bunny hop a brick.. yeah me
Neau afk that's a start now just start piling them until u can hop like Danny mac
You gotta start somewhere!
then bunny hop a pencil.
I can bunny hop a stick. Wohoo
Kevox lol
Best looking bike on TH-cam 👍
Thanks Dude I needed that 180 to reverb !
Stoked on these! Cheers from down under
¡ɐsn ǝɥʇ ɯoɹɟ sɹǝǝɥɔ 'ʎppɐd sʞuɐɥʇ
I did the 180 skid on a brakeless bmx to slider out and it awesome
pls keep bringing this kinda of videos love and thanks and happy riding
I'll be mixing this stuff in but the core skills will be the primary focus, but every once in a while we need to cut loose and play around.
do you feel the need to elevate the crank flip?
do it with clipless.
Nice video, Congrats on 80k!
Thanks Nico, it's a big milestone.
Awesome video Phil!
try the flicky thing just with puddles and a friend on the other side -> instant cycle water fight and the ways in-between trails becomes a whole lot more exciting.
Haha yeah, I have some friends that do that. I've learned to avoid the around puddles.
I’m a bmx rider and learnt to crank flip on my own and it’s good because along with the chain dragging the frame I am full street now :)
Those are really cool, man!
What psi do u run in your fork it’s bottoming out on hops
Well, i'd die of hypothermia before learning any of those tricks. Go Finland!
:D
tänään sato lunta perkele
Make like your countryman Martti Kuoppa and practice indoors?
NoBrakes23 if i had enough room in our house
hey man plz i want to see you doing some tricks with the saddle at the correct height for pedaling.
nice one Phil,
Nice stuff! Also like that In FMX the No Hander Lander called Base Jumper, but real Base Jumper is Cliffhanger + No Hander Lander! =)
what's not to like? thanks Phil 👍
I learnt the front wheel skid yesterday
great video again Phil. I'm still shocked that you don't have more sub's!
Another good video Phil!
Hi Phil, some of these look interesting. I really struggle with a revert, have you done a dedicated video for how to revert?
Literally in the first video....
180 tire skid to revert looks sick.
How much do you need to practice for each trick so you are actually able to do them?
Watching this during quarantine
looking to transition to flat pedals. I've used converse chuck Taylor's before on my DJ but was wondering what you're using?
Not sure what Phil is wearing (although they look cool af). But, you can't go wrong with a pair of 510 Freeriders and a good set of flats (I like Wellgo MG-1's). The shoes are a bit pricey (~100-120$), but if you shop around you can usually find them on sale. Hope this is helpful. Flats=fun
I was thinking king some vans old skool pros would be good and Kona wah wahs.

How about the handless wheelie?
Got skill man!! Pretty sweet
I’m gonna go try these!
i dont have two jump two crankflip is that a good thing for a bike
100k subs congrats !!
I can barely track stand :( Would an oversized bike be a problem for jumps, manuals, etc?
Try track standing on a slight hill. Use the incline to push you backward while using your drivetrain to keep you in place. It's a little trick at first but not super hard to pick up.
Which gear ❤️
hey, phil love your vids man
are you going to race the nc races on your evil? or you are going to buy a dh bike?
keep up the good work
+Skills With Phil
0:38 " Wheelies aren't something i'm wheelie good at" lol
How about the bottom bracket Grind?
master this.. you must
Love it!!!
Phil great video
soooo funny manual no foots xDDD nice man !!
i can do half of them... now im into that crank flip...
Oh man the tire slide variation part killed me i cant even count how many times i have done that by accident trying to get up onto a curb
you're super cool phil!! i really enjoy your video and the tricks, especially the flicky thing :D. hey phil why dont you give us video about street trials too.. \M/

Excellent video good sir
Can you 360 tire tap but do a wheelie without stopping
Awesome!!
You can do a abubaca without brakes and just peddle pressure but it makes it a lot harder
Which cycle do you use ??
great video.
here's one: the downhill both wheel skid
I find it works best on mud or ice
coaster wheelie is sitting down and a manual wheelie is standing up :)
Harv UK Difference is that in manual you can only balance with your bodyweight but in coaster wheelie you can use brake.
Hey phil can you give me some advice as im proably getting the cane creek double barrel coil its for enduro and a bit of downhill usage and your thoughts on the vivid air as that was another option. Ps i like the coil better.
1:26 I learned from this record how to buny hop xD
u missed telling that you have a dope indepth video on how to kickflip.. and to add a link in the description..
anyways.. love these type of vids.. helps warm up and improve bike control
Lol u said u aren't very good at the no footed manual, but I'm still learning to manual
You are awesome Phil :-)
Is that a cane creek helm fork ? Launch edition
Is 180 skid likely to bend my rims? I have some schruman rims if thats what it is spelled..
What inch bike do you have?
@Skills With Phil how many kilos is your bike?
Since I ride trials, i sometimes hop on an object, but if it’s too high, I end up hopping backwards off the object and doing a fakie out. I didn’t even know it was called an „abubuca“😂

A tip I have is that it's easier to crank flip when you don't have a chain ;)
+Oliver Cole haha that may pose an issue Later down the road :P
in india the last One is called Spreader Wheelie ...
but in other parts of the world it is called Coaster Spreader wheelie...
Abhilash Anil why’s it called a wheelie if it’s a manual?
nice tricks bro....♥♥♥
could you make a video on things that you do that could break parts of your bike ?
One of my fav vids yet
Thanks Reet!
Do you like 650b + hardtails?
The bicycle you are stunting, I want the same shakup bicycle, link to that website, I want to buy the same bicycle
Plesssss send linkkk
How many PSI do you usually ride? I usually ride around 40, but my bike seems a bit heavy to me sometimes.
what is the weight of your cycle?
idk how you do these tricks! I just got a full suspension downhill bike and can't even do a bunny hop. Any tips? (my bike weights around 40lbs, much more from my hardtail.)
when you put the front wheel up and slide the back wheel along the curb i call it a tire feeble cuz its like a feeble with pegs on bmx
NO FOOTED MANUAL IF YOU CALL IT A COASTER WHEELIE YOU ARE WRONG
jk just starting a flame war in the comment sections as asked to do by Phil
+TtopMusic see this is somebody who knows how to follow directions!! Haha 😂
You pedal in a wheelie. You can’t pedal if your feet aren’t on your pedals, thus this trick is a manual.
Cool!
LMAO great video but idk why the last one is so funny
what kind of bike it is?
