They could have kept that second one and did something like when he copies his opponents abilities and then uses it to kill them. I mean anything is better than a second sword fatality that's almost identical to the first one.

He was killed with most of the other warriors at the Deadly Alliance fight. But he did get revived by the dragon king for his personal use.
