  • If you are just getting into BBQ and want to experiment with some smoking wood, but not sure where to start, this video is for you!
I know a little bit about smoking wood, but I thought for this video we'll catch up with the expert, Russ Kol from Natural Smoke BBQ Woods!
We cover off the different varieties of wood (fruit, nut and hard wood), you'll get to learn about the different flavour profiles, how much wood to use and much much more!
Smoking woods are so incredibly important to producing good BBQ! Don't forget, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask them in the comments below and i'll get Russ to keep an eye out to get them answered!
Here's a link to the Natural Smoke website for anyone interested: www.naturalsmoke.com.au/
Thanks so much for watching and we'll see you next time!

I never appreciated ironbark as a smoking wood until I got a firepit that is just the tub of a washing machine with some holes crudely punched into it..
As soon as I smelled it burning in there I knew it was going in the kettle asap.
I'm uper interested in trying some of that nectarine. Cheers and may you have wood every morning for the rest of your days lol.

I can buy oak, hickory, pecan, apple, mesquite, cherry too but it’s very expensive and u can get only 3.5kg of wood chunks in one packet but if i buy hickory or oak they both come in 5kg chunks and log and 9kg logs.
