I’d suggest investing in a cheap but decently rated db meter as phone mics are not calibrated to read decibels and there’s no telling if that app is even accurate!

Not an air raid alarm, just a standard alarm used for alert/security systems mostly in industrial applications like power plants where it can be somewhat loud so having a screaming siren like this will help out also I hope you don’t think every single siren like this = air raids cause boy do I have news for you, most emergency vehicles back then had sirens similar to these but had a different tone to them hell even some fire trucks still use the old Mechanical design because there’s not much that can go wrong with em, motor burns out it’s fine because you can get a new motor they’re mostly cheap but reliable and they’re loud asf!

What difference does that make?? Burglar alarms aren’t there to deafen the burglars but to alert anyone near by including the home owners to an intruder by your logic your comment shouldn’t have been posted since it would give a thief an idea to bring ear muffs but again alarms like these are to alert the homeowner to the presence of a break in and scaring off a burglar is an added bonus but isn’t guaranteed to work perfectly in that case!
