- With more than a million people still trapped in southern Gaza ahead of the threatened Israeli invasion, one Egyptian company is making millions from Palestinians desperate to escape.
After taking complete control of the process known as ‘coordination’ - essentially an institutionalised system of bribes - the company has increased payments from $350 to more than $5,000 to flee the enclave.

Let them all leave Gaza. 2.5 million people would not be hard to absorb by the Saudi Arabia and the oil rich Gulf States. These countries employ over six million foreign nationals, each. Their guest workers come from all over the world - Philippines, Southeast Asia, India, Africa. The current residents of Gaza would be even easier to include into the fabric of their societies, since they already speak a dialect of Arabic and all are exclusively Suni Muslims. Why employ foreign work force, when their own coreligionists are crying for jobs, as the ticket out of the misery they have been living in. First under the rule of the Hamas and now under the effects of the war Hamas had brought to them?

Western governments have gone along with this as they depended on the oil and couldn't figure out another way. What we saw here on 0:11 was an Hamas attack on a food convoy, which was under the supervision and protection of Israeli tanks and military personnel. For the IDF it was difficult to intervene, since it was a chaotic fight that broke out among civilians. This convoy was NOT attacked by the IDF. It was attacked by hamas.

My question is, which is not being asked in Sky News, why are there so many Palestinians left in northern Gaza! They are supposed to be in southern Gaza according to evacuation orders! What kind of mentality do these people have who choose to be far from help! Could their mentality have anything to do with what occurred where an alleged number died!? Understand that the elderly and disabled may find it difficult to evacuate, but those who are seen swarming around the trucks, in motion, do not meet that criteria! Why would the IDF shoot those to whom the aid was supposed to go? Doesn't seem logical considering that the whole world looks towards Israel and doesn't care about other conflicts which are much more serious from the perspective of death toll!

Part of the cost goes for bribes to the Egyptian military, and Hamas. Egyptian trucks do not enter Gaza entirely, they enter a staging area that's controlled by Egypt on one side, and Hamas on the other side. Back on Oct. 8-13, Egypt closed the border completely, this was to get Hamas to behave. Egypt also charges $5000 for every truck that enters Gaza, there's a reason that the US pushed Israel to reopen the Keran Shlom crossing.
