    Hi, thank you for the video.
    Which POD provider do you recommend?
    I saw printify and Printful, they sell them at an average of $11, and the market price is $24, considering the ad cost, it wouldn't be a great product to sell...

      I've been using Printify as my primary print-on-demand platform, but I just released a video discussing my experience with both Printify and another platform. Check it out here: th-cam.com/video/a9g_x9Im5fc/w-d-xo.html for my thoughts on both services.

    The problem with printify, is that it takes time to ship these products. Around 30 days. You do not want to wait long time for your product to arrive.

    • @ChrisHeckman
      @ChrisHeckman  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Simply not true. We've shipped out 100,000's of products in 1-2 days and arrive in 5-7 business days max

    $25M in sales, huh? And now you're slumming it on TH-cam. A generous of you to grace us with your presence. I don't know about the rest of your viewers, but if I made 25 million dollars there's no way in hell you'd find me wasting my time on TH-cam or any other social media site for that matter. And while we're at it printify requires money to get started because Etsy doesn't pay you for at least two months, so you got to cover the cost, of printing and shipping the items as well as pay for advertising and all related fees. Not to mention the fact that it takes months or even years before you start making any money because you need thousands of listings. So the road to easy money is non-existent. It's a lot of perseverance and hard work, and if you think this is going to be a cakewalk you're in for a fucking shock. People like this or just completely full of shit with their unrealistic views and empty promises. Go ahead and start your online store, but just remember it's work. It may not be back-breaking construction work, but it still work. Be prepared to spend eight to 10 hours a day behind your computer 6 to 7 days a week and don't expect to see any profit for at least 6 months.

      @ChrisHeckman  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Thanks for the enlightening commentary. To answer your questions:
      1. I got into TH-cam (Like tons of other already successful entrepreneurs) because A) I was burnt out on ecom after selling my business B) I wanted to help out some pleasant folks like yourself.
      2. $25 Million in sales is VERY different from profit. (Feel free to watch this video where I share the actual P&L from one of my brands th-cam.com/video/HlzgyQiaeIE/w-d-xo.html )
      3. Agreed, Ecom is hard and takes effort. The goal of this channel is to make it easier. I try to do that by investing 100's of hours on videos like this 365-step guide (for free) th-cam.com/video/HlzgyQiaeIE/w-d-xo.html

    Good VoD but 50% profit !?! For sure you may have misplaced that 0, because it's much more like 05% profit per item!

    • @ChrisHeckman
      @ChrisHeckman  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good question! The gross profit margin is variable based on however you choose to set your retail pricing. Typically, I set mine to be 40-50% COGS ( 2-2.2X )
      I.e - If a product costs $10 (including shipping) on Printify, I’ll set my retail price to be $20-$24. So after Printify, Etsy transaction/listing fees, etc. it works out to be ~50% net margin. Hope this helps!

    copying bestsellers is not the way to get bestselling products yourself ... what a bad advice. Bring something different to the market to stand out and then you have a chance to get a bestseller too.
    telling you to "just copy this design" and it's "guaranteed to sell" are pretty much trigger words for bad advice as far as POD.
    edit: ohh so this was all to sell his own software. now it makes sense lol.

    • @ChrisHeckman
      @ChrisHeckman  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Hey, Thanks for the comment. To clarify, the point of the video was to show how to 1) Analyze which products/design styles already have demand in the market. 2) Create unique products to fill that demand by leveraging AI tools like Midjourney.
      While “bringing something different to market” is a good way to build brand reputation down the road, it’s can be hit-or-miss and not the fastest path to consistent sales. (In my experience)
