As a small disclaimer, the Epitaph can also work as a great single target weapon, since not only does it have really good crit stats on its charged shot, allowing for some crit corrosive builds, but also having forced impact on its charged shot, which makes Hemorrhage a really good choice for some really big bleed procs, while also being able to prime for itself, modding for viral on its quick shots. Sure, it may not have high KPS like the Nukor, but for something like Disruption, where you have to focus on single, tanky targets, it can do it on its own.

And its even better on Voruna as you can cycle her passives to get heavy efficiency when you want to evolve it, you can refresh incarnon form with a heavy slam, and its dps is second only to Kronen, but has so much better QOL with incarnon evolutions giving pk velocity and attack speed and incarnon form giving a bunch of range and even more attack speed, meaning you don’t need primed reach and can slot whatever you want in its place

As someone who is pretty much as much of a veteran as it gets, i still remember when my Rhino p with his boltor prime was the best thing since sliced bread, not to mention the absolute monster my soma p was, nowadays that stuff is so hilariously weak in comparison to even weapons that is considered mid af, still those guns are fun to pull out just for fun every now and then even if they remind you exactly how crazy the powercreep has manifested itself. According to the people in the clan I belong to, Glaive Prime is considered the apex melee weapon in the game, and is the one all of them advise for stuff like steel path. I've not done much steel path stuff, but a Cedo/Pyranna Prime/Glaive Prime setup did work well when I joined some clannmates' squads. Many thanks for all of these other suggestions, too. I think I have most of these, but probably not gotten some of them ranked up/optimized yet. Still, it's good to have some suggestions, as I enjoy having a bit of variety. Also, Phatasma/Prime has an added bonus of extra magazine capacity when used by Revenant. I'm note sure the chargeable plasma grenade launcher mode was intended for steel path, but it can be absolutely devastating in lower level missions. But, to make the most of it, you need wide open spaces, because the grenade explosion sends up additional projectiles that then arc downward and seek baddies It's particularly useful if you get used to guesstimating where it'll land if you aim in an arc, as it'll let you effectively hit enemies further than the beam range on normal fire mode.
Your clanmates are right. The Glaive Prime is super crazy strong! I personally don't really like the Glaive type playstyle so I usually don't use it but the millions of damage it can do are pretty insane :D

The nukor with the Galvanized shot, G. Scope, and G. Diffusion already makes it a primary level. Add target cracker or Primed target cracker, Element combination, and quality of life enhancements makes it better than most of what I seen people put out. Radiation with it is a powerful.
I just got a Nikana Prime. That's going to be my go to. As for ranged, that's why I'm here. When I left years ago I was still using a Boltor P (it could go endgame back then. That's how early it was) and got a Ignis Wraith when I came back. I even had to redo the whole vanilla star chart. I even got pushed further back from finishing it when the Zariman released.
Great video. Those are all great weapons. Im a melee main and my favorite are Glaive prime, kronen prime, dual keres prime Nami skyla prime. For secondary weapons epitaph and kuva nukor. Primaries I tend to use weapons that can have magnetic and cold if i use epitaph if im using kuva nukor any is fine because i rarely use primary. Example for disruption ill take kronen prime epitaph and a gun with magnetic and cold. Epitaph cold viral heat to slow Primary magnetic cold easy shield removal and maintin slow Kronem prime for 12* heavy attack bleed. It works great Also convectrix expedite sufering will also work great
kitguns work nice like the sporelacer secondary together with a saryn or banshee you can one shot lvl 100+ , even without a weapon enhancing frame you can kill almost everything with 2 or 3 shots. For Melee the Glaive prime throw+ detonate one shots almost all as well with the huge slash proc.
@@jsamuel908 np, theres many ways to tackle steelpath, another way is armor striping with a vastilok for example and then almost all weapons will be good against enemies without armor... you can do a melee with exodia arcane dealing millions of dmg.. any frame with armor strip will make most weapons viable as well.. Nuking frames... etc..
my favorite "melee" steel path weapon is Stropha or Redeemer Prime. gun blades are cool and one shoting every enemy in base steel path is nice and easy.
If DE wanted to make kuva weapons broad and OP just slap an animated skin of red to the tips of the killing weapon ( so if I made a loch using the grimoire that weapon has a red tip like the others) and have the killing type (ie is dies w cold damage showing the weapon has high cold damage) added onto the stats same with the tenants then they would make it op.
also the cedo has been seriously nerfed without de mentioning anything, I made a video about the cedo, redo the same build in the same condition and you'll see that it deals a LOT less damage
Sad that no one ever mentions the tenet agendus, all the weapons mentioned are definitely great but playing with naturally higher speed just feels so much better and the tenet agendus is my fav that melts faster then most.
@@oldschoolgamer5113 i've rotated over some time.. had magnetic, then radiation then toxin i think I'm having an impact one now for fun gonna change it and try Ice maybe. The game literally has no other use for holokeys and I have about 200 holokeys just lying there.. yes veil voidstorms were my go to relic opening. ..
As a main primary weapon, my go to is usually my "Stahlta" since main rapid fire does decent damage and alt fire is a sure crit secondary is either "K.Nukor" "T.Cycron " Cyanex "my kitgun" or "pirana prime" and melee wise i got a short list "Penant" "Sigma and Octanis" "Tenet Exec" Prisma Obex + entropy dettotation"
The nukor does better with a Magnetic Progenitor, then a low viral, high heat build, WITH Cascadia Flare it can shred practically anything, slap on Roar, and it's better than a Bramma or a Zarr
These "best weapons" videos always crack me up. The only weapon you need for nutballs damage is the Acceltra. The Acceltra doesn't care what you're shooting at. It just destroys everything without prejudice. No priming needed. No double dipping needed. One of my Acceltra builds deals 741,000 DPS without any frame buffs. SP Acolytes are gone in 2 seconds flat. I really should make a video about it.
Little trade secret, the amprex is one of the single most op weapons ever added, but as long as people forget about how op it is my riven will only get better over time, plz dont make a video about it, just want it to be a word of mouth thing also the Kohm has reentered the halls of greatness, it used to suffer from godawful ammo efficiency, then along came this little parazon mod called blood for ammo. So as long as you remember to go for parazon finishers it's too strong
All Incarnon weapons deal RIDICULOUS amounts of damage, manageable up to level cap (9999), with Felarx being the better at it's normal form vs Incarnon form
@@MHBlacky_ENG as a life long gamer, some people really don't know what they're missing.I also think that the railjack multiplayer is the future of gaming.

Another good video would be mid/late game weapons. Not everyone intends to get to steel path and follow a meta build where you need to build your loadout for perfect synergy.
I like using Skaijati, Astilla Prime, Lateum, Nataruk, and Tenet Envoy. I'm not a primer type of player but using those weapons with the right frames; Nyx, Excal, Vauban, etc let me get through SP solo.
@@carkeys3007 Sure. I just use full umbral mods, w/ steel charge, cunning drift, adaptation, hunter adrenaline, primed continuity, constitution, and furious javelin. I also replaced his 1 with Gloom, Arcane Fury/Energize, and a full crimson shard set with melee crit dmg on the Skaijati. Works wonders.
I must admit that I find the Laetum a bit more satisfying than the phenmor. And for Steel Path at least to me it feels like it actually does more damage. It might be the AOE in the incarnon mode. It might be the fact that I happen to have the grineer primed faction mod for it and i don't for the rifles.
Yeah the Laetum is excellent, I agree! In general all the Incarnon weapons are sick :D The Tenet AP is a very popular choice. I think the reason I left it out is simply because I personally never really liked the AP xD

I managed Mariana on Earth with Loki and a Daikyu. I really can't recommend it though. Don't get me wrong, with Galvanize Chamber, Hunter Munitions, Internal Bleeding aka Hunter Munitions 2, and Amalgam Daikyu Target Acquired fitted for crit chance, the damage on a headshot is kinda ridiculous. But it's single target, so you need to be really precise with it which invisible frames give you the time to do, but you'll be farming at an absolute crawl, and killing those edgelord boss guys that show up in steel path is also a pain in the ass. Just found it fascinating that it has this much of a damage potential. I wonder if it could have a niche.
Yeah I feel that. Single target unfortunately is not as viable anymore as it once was :/ But as long as you enjoy the Daikyu I don't see any reason not to play it ;)
My favorite used to be running kuva zarr with wukong and just letting the clone wreck everything but then both the weapon and wf got nerfed very big sadge 😔
Yeah I was really thinking hard if I should add this one in the vid. But since basically every other TH-camr has it in their Top 10s for Steel Path I decided to not mention it again :D
my fav wep is quanta vandal with the riven mod and all bells whistels.. also smacked with Forma's on every slot. and it goes up to 9-11K on the beam. the secoundary is a raid saver and im still amazed how much crap talk I get for it and then I play with it my style and it saves the day. I am curious what you think about it. Also I find Glaive prime ofc to be the best melee wep since it works as a sheid for certain projetitels, it's a 1 hit ranged wep and with Kulstar (With mulrible projeticles mod) you can solo sortie missions. And you can use it as a regular melee short range wep .. I mean what more do you need?
Oooh I feel you with the Quanta Vandal. I also have it, also got a Riven for it. Also love it :D It's cool how Rivens can boost these less popular guns ^^ I personally don't really like Glaives in general but I agree. The Glaive Prime is the best Melee Weapon ;)
@@MHBlacky_ENG it's also pretty fun to boost friends on low lvl maps with combustion mod since it can clean out a entire room all thanks to patrol npc opening the door and I can zap 1 which ends up exploding and that travels to all. in 2018 when I started playing the combustion mod didn't affect the secondary while it does now, which like I mentioned earlier makes a pretty heavy sortie wep.. but when you slap 8 formas on any gun it has to end up being close to god their xD easy to get 99% status on it. It is also fun to parkour your way around and shoot them cubes in a door frames so it bounces back and let grineer troops chase you in to their own doom.

Glad i could help :D However if you don't have the Ignis Wraith already I'd rather farm one of the other weapons in this video. The nukor with the Galvanized shot, G. Scope, and G. Diffusion already makes it a primary level. Add target cracker or Primed target cracker, Element combination, and quality of life enhancements makes it better than most of what I seen people put out. Radiation with it is a powerful.
Yeah, the Kuva Nukor hits different :O
at 18:24 not to be that guy or anything but I think you misspelled claim to calim, either way great vid!
Oh noooo I was definitely talking about Calim, my arab friend xP
Thanks for the nice feedback ;)
I just got a Nikana Prime. That's going to be my go to. As for ranged, that's why I'm here. When I left years ago I was still using a Boltor P (it could go endgame back then. That's how early it was) and got a Ignis Wraith when I came back. I even had to redo the whole vanilla star chart. I even got pushed further back from finishing it when the Zariman released.
Nikana Prime is still an S tier melee for Steel Path :D
Ich habe gestern Steelpath freigeschaltet und jetzt kommt dieses Video ^^ Danke dir Blacky
Ach nichts zu danken. Dann mal viel Spaß damit! :D Deutsche Version kommt aber auch noch ;)
Epitaph cold viral heat to slow
Primary magnetic cold easy shield removal and maintin slow
Kronem prime for 12* heavy attack bleed.
It works great
Also convectrix expedite sufering will also work great
Thank you for the compliment
kitguns work nice like the sporelacer secondary together with a saryn or banshee you can one shot lvl 100+ , even without a weapon enhancing frame you can kill almost everything with 2 or 3 shots.
For Melee the Glaive prime throw+ detonate one shots almost all as well with the huge slash proc.
Ty
@@jsamuel908 np, theres many ways to tackle steelpath, another way is armor striping with a vastilok for example and then almost all weapons will be good against enemies without armor... you can do a melee with exodia arcane dealing millions of dmg.. any frame with armor strip will make most weapons viable as well.. Nuking frames... etc..
For steel path I often use ether daggers, dual keres, and fragor for my melee and usually arca plasmid+ nukor or baza + nukor
Sounds nice. Im sure you delete quite some foes with this combo ;)
@@MHBlacky_ENG I do, I’m currently trying to find a frame that I like and build it for steel path. Rn it’s wisp but soon might be Voruna.
my favorite "melee" steel path weapon is Stropha or Redeemer Prime. gun blades are cool and one shoting every enemy in base steel path is nice and easy.
Haha yeah I feel that :D Always funny how the strongest melee weapons are actually ranged xD
Imo felarx is a bit better than phenmor but also requires a lot of primed mods. Nice video buddy.
Thank you for the nice feedback Erick
also the cedo has been seriously nerfed without de mentioning anything, I made a video about the cedo, redo the same build in the same condition and you'll see that it deals a LOT less damage
Sad that no one ever mentions the tenet agendus, all the weapons mentioned are definitely great but playing with naturally higher speed just feels so much better and the tenet agendus is my fav that melts faster then most.
I like agendus too, what element do you add? I did magnetic, not sure if I'm happy with it.
@@oldschoolgamer5113 i've rotated over some time.. had magnetic, then radiation then toxin i think I'm having an impact one now for fun gonna change it and try Ice maybe. The game literally has no other use for holokeys and I have about 200 holokeys just lying there.. yes veil voidstorms were my go to relic opening. ..
Great video. But jfx that valkyr build at the end. Valkyr is my fav ❤️
Thank you!
@@MHBlacky_ENG I found it ❤️
As a main primary weapon, my go to is usually my "Stahlta" since main rapid fire does decent damage and alt fire is a sure crit
secondary is either "K.Nukor" "T.Cycron " Cyanex "my kitgun" or "pirana prime"
and melee wise i got a short list "Penant" "Sigma and Octanis" "Tenet Exec" Prisma Obex + entropy dettotation"
Sounds like a very sweet selection! :D Thank you for sharing ;)
I like using the balla zaw with vergeet II jai and peye grip with 3 gladiator warframe mods
I wish arm cannons had a skin that didn’t obstruct your view while aiming. Also bc I just don’t like how the bubonico looks, but I love it as a weapon
I never do steel path without the Soma prime, with some help from hunters munitions and a fire rate arcane it melts enemies as fast as anything.
What’s ur build?
Thank fuck you dropped this video because Im looking for a weapon thats not my mainstay Rubico Prime.
Haha you're welcome, Bro ;) Glad I could help ^^
The nukor does better with a Magnetic Progenitor, then a low viral, high heat build, WITH Cascadia Flare
it can shred practically anything, slap on Roar, and it's better than a Bramma or a Zarr
Oh wow guess Imma go full acceltra
My fav melee list for steel path.
Performance: Glaive Prime & Valkyr Prime Talons
Fun: Garuda Prime Talons & anything I feel like using
Sounds very nice. I agree! :D
Little trade secret, the amprex is one of the single most op weapons ever added, but as long as people forget about how op it is my riven will only get better over time, plz dont make a video about it, just want it to be a word of mouth thing
also the Kohm has reentered the halls of greatness, it used to suffer from godawful ammo efficiency, then along came this little parazon mod called blood for ammo. So as long as you remember to go for parazon finishers it's too strong
Jo blacky, hast du ne playlist mit den songs im hintergrund, feier die irgendwie :D
Ne playlist nicht wirklich. Die meisten davon sind aus der gratis YT Audiolibrary vom Artist Slynk ;)
Not mentioning warframes thundergun the tenet plasmor is wild my friend.
I like the Mewan Zaw with Exodia Epidemic for crowd control for melee.
Great video dude!
Thank you a lot, mate
I recently got a zaw riven, and it's made me very happy
Nice! I'm happy for you ^^
@@MHBlacky_ENG thank you
Does anybody kno how to get the projectiles shooting for carrier prime?
It's the Hellstrum weapon for him. You can get the Blueprint in Fortuna ;)
@@MHBlacky_ENG thx
Edun is my new favorite melee currently.
I was about to ask why didnt u add Cedo, but i saw it in the end. I am totally inlove with it. Built it a few days ago and i am going to die with it😃
Haha only thing is you won't ever die with it xD
All Incarnon weapons deal RIDICULOUS amounts of damage, manageable up to level cap (9999), with Felarx being the better at it's normal form vs Incarnon form
True. The Incarnons are on a totally different level :O
Found warframe about a year and a half ago whilst looking for a good free to play game. I can't remember the last time I was so addicted to a game.
I feel you, Bro :D
@@MHBlacky_ENG as a life long gamer, some people really don't know what they're missing.I also think that the railjack multiplayer is the future of gaming.
Wow. And here I was wondering if my Phantasma or Nukor rivens were going to be worth keeping
Hope you didn't sell them 😉
@MHBlacky_ENG turns out I thought I had a nukor riven, but but it was another lich pistol. At least I have an epithath riven. And besides, I'm on switch so I haven't been able to sell any riven in a long time, even my 2 bo rivens
Another good video would be mid/late game weapons. Not everyone intends to get to steel path and follow a meta build where you need to build your loadout for perfect synergy.
Amprex after 6 or so formas later still my go to for most of the game, Ignis a close 2nd
I like using Skaijati, Astilla Prime, Lateum, Nataruk, and Tenet Envoy. I'm not a primer type of player but using those weapons with the right frames; Nyx, Excal, Vauban, etc let me get through SP solo.
You have an Excal Umbra SP build? I'd love to see it!
Works wonders.
let’s goooo new vid
I must admit that I find the Laetum a bit more satisfying than the phenmor. And for Steel Path at least to me it feels like it actually does more damage. It might be the AOE in the incarnon mode. It might be the fact that I happen to have the grineer primed faction mod for it and i don't for the rifles.
I have been using the felarx, and it one shots every enemy with the exception of the stalker acolytes.
It's super strong, I agree! Use it for Archons myself ^^ However I've had so many shotguns on my list already so I decided to give it a pass xD
I suppose you could put in tandem with the phenmor, the laetum. as for primaries I also love the Cedo, and tenet arca plasmor is pretty solid.
Yeah the Laetum is excellent, I agree! In general all the Incarnon weapons are sick :D
The Tenet AP is a very popular choice. I think the reason I left it out is simply because I personally never really liked the AP xD
@@MHBlacky_ENG what's not to like about that glowy energy SHEET screaming out at the enemy?! and the damage! I've got a buddy mr 12, he's got the regular AP doing 16k damage! [that means he doesn't have all the prime mods, and stuff!] but we all have a "preference" don't we? one friend is all about the splosions, so bout the only thing they use is kuva ogris, and sporelacer secondary...
My old account was usually opticor vandal or ignis wraith and then epitaph for sure and then xoris or Excalibur umbra s sword
Single target unfortunately is not as viable anymore as it once was :/
But as long as you enjoy the Daikyu I don't see any reason not to play it ;)
Agreed, when not in farm frenzy it can still be fun
Fave steelpath melee - sepfahn nikana zaw. Heavy attack bleed force proc and life steel and exodia hunt = dont need anything else.
The best non-prime melee is probably the Lesion, or the Praedos (haven't tried that one yet)
Wow I love your revenant fashion, may I ask what attachment u using?
Nvm it's rev prime signature armor set
Thank you for the compliment anyway ^-^ Normal Revenant's armor set looks also amazing on him tho ;)
@@MHBlacky_ENG you're the reason i bought the rev deluxe skin and godd damm it was worth it, the tenebrus helmet fit soo well with mephisto body
I like to switch between the cataclyst and the Guandao Prime as Melee Weapons in Steelpass.
My favorite used to be running kuva zarr with wukong and just letting the clone wreck everything but then both the weapon and wf got nerfed very big sadge 😔
I use tenet arca plasmor, it has inf punch through and pseudo aoe. Its a shotgun too lol
Yeah I was really thinking hard if I should add this one in the vid. But since basically every other TH-camr has it in their Top 10s for Steel Path I decided to not mention it again :D
You're just going to forget the Tenet cycron, which is just a corpus kuva nukor that doesn't need ammo?
Convectrix is what carried my steel path!
It's such an underrated gun ^^
my fav wep is quanta vandal with the riven mod and all bells whistels.. also smacked with Forma's on every slot. and it goes up to 9-11K on the beam. the secoundary is a raid saver and im still amazed how much crap talk I get for it and then I play with it my style and it saves the day.
Also love it :D It's cool how Rivens can boost these less popular guns ^^
I personally don't really like Glaives in general but I agree. The Glaive Prime is the best Melee Weapon ;)
@@MHBlacky_ENG it's also pretty fun to boost friends on low lvl maps with combustion mod since it can clean out a entire room all thanks to patrol npc opening the door and I can zap 1 which ends up exploding and that travels to all. in 2018 when I started playing the combustion mod didn't affect the secondary while it does now, which like I mentioned earlier makes a pretty heavy sortie wep.. but when you slap 8 formas on any gun it has to end up being close to god their xD
easy to get 99% status on it.
It is also fun to parkour your way around and shoot them cubes in a door frames so it bounces back and let grineer troops chase you in to their own doom.
Nidus crit faction mod pluse kuva chak is so very very fun to play.
I have a problem doing my mastery on weapons but also I cannot follow that guy for war within
the trick is that there are no extremely weak weapons in the game. You can build a Braton mk-1 that clears the steal path without any effort
Stug
Iodeem / tenet cycron / inaros or harrow / tenet wave shotgun or phenmore
my favorite "melee" steel path weapon is the stropha, heavy attack hits like a truck
Haha yeah the gunblades are pretty sick. I agree :D Kinda ironic that the best melee weapons are guns xD
i recently got into lvl 4 mastery wanna know how to increase my health and armor.. but i dont have the rhino thing yet
It is just the incarnon weapons, they're just the strongest out of every weapon
I got a weapon bruh, it’s called xaku…
04:28 what's that Melee skin?
That's the Guandao Prime, no skin :D
either my ignis is built shit and weak asf even with the recommended mods, or I'm missing something
By the time you are done with the new war, you should be good at the nataruk, since you murdered 2 archons with it.
Haha yeah xD Gottaget used to the different fire rate with mods tho :P
The lesion, its served me well
I'm still using the zarr. Say what ya will, but that's been my main weapon since I got the normal zarr.
It is a fun weapon no doubt ;)
@@MHBlacky_ENG I miss the kamikaze days. Misfire or friendly fire killed you. It made things funny.
"Fuck you corrupted heavy fucker! Di---, I hit the rail."
Heavy attack build Penant is absolutely insane.
I like heavy attack builds in general :D
How is he getting impact gas and electricity on his Nukor if he only has heat mods a magnetic progenitor and base radiation
Ivarapr on a wire with explosive disk is always imba ;0 lazy&super destructive ^^
I really like the pangolin prime, so good my exalibur umbra
"Ignis Wraith is great for beginners who are just dipping into Steel path"
The entire reason I'm here is because I'm a beginner who wants to know what I should be grinding for for Steel path lmao
Glad i could help :D
However if you don't have the Ignis Wraith already I'd rather farm one of the other weapons in this video. The reason I mentioned it is that most players will probably have it already at the point where they start Steel Path so they can avoid the grind. If you'd have to grind for it anyway then rather get one of the stronger weapons right away ;)
@@MHBlacky_ENG Thanks! I'm more so looking at Ignis Wraith since it's good for early game areas too and I've got a build prepped for it once the Blueprint unlocks in the Clan Dojo, I'm definitely farming for the other weapons though, especially the Kuva weapons.
I cant tell you my fovourite sp melee. Or others will try it out and the riven disposition will go down:-p
Hahaha I feel that xD... And usually I'm the one to blame :P
@@MHBlacky_ENG i had a great glaive riven long ago, then content creators found out about its power. You guys are heroes for new players but sometimes a scourge for us veterans. Great content. 3k hours but i didnt know about nataruks perfect shot( had to try it after your video), this makes this bow so much fun. Ty
I just got survival issues lol but that's a me issue lol 😂
am i the only one whos grown to hate this meta? of priming and statuses and double dipping etc. it felt so much more fun when i could just build my gun to do good damage through crits and 1 or 2 of the righg elements instead of needing armour strip or 700 viral or slash procs to do any remarkable damage lol
Hi Valerieee, what you're describing still works. Just not beyond Steel Path lvl 200. For the most part that should be fine though ;)
@@MHBlacky_ENG wow ty for the reply, i appreciate that and ill try my best to build like that then ♡
i think there's no more self damage in game or perhaps i didn't noticed it because its too small, but they mostly replaced it with the long knockback that could be reduced with either Handspring or Sure Footed
It is going to return in a future update with some adjustements, DE already mentioned it, although it's more of a test to see how it turns out on nowadays "meta" and if it should stay or not.
@@originalname1761 yikes! I have weapons that knock me back and radiate me as well as kill 1000's! I don't need self damage on top of that
Every weapon can clap steel path enemies if you build your loadout right
Okay I'm just gonna mention it bc no one does. Use the tenet cycron 😤 it's the same as nukor but you don't have ammo economy it charges its reload never running out of ammo perfect primer an killer in one for steel path perfect 👌 primer
