    I'm happy with the Kiprun marathon belt that only costs £19.99. Plenty of storage and a separate compartment for a phone, decent pull tags. Not quite as deep as the naked belt, but at just more than a third of the price value for money!

    I’ve had a couple of these. Was optimistic with the sizing on the first one and it was far too tight. Went up several sizes and its still too snug. There’s not much stretch in it so you need to be precise with the sizing. I’m not convinced by this belt and have since bought a compresssport belt which I much prefer. The Naked one will be hitting eBay soon!! Good bounce test and another great vid.

    I thought I needed this video, but I don’t, I need the NEXT ‘showdown’ video! 😂 I shall have to hold off my next purchase for a little longer then…! 😁 The split central pocket on the Naked band does put me off, although I loved the pole holders (essential) and pull tabs. All I would have added to this belt (besides not splitting the front pocket in two) is some silicone strips on the inside - I find that belts tend to slide up off my hips to my waist without these. Oh, and a waterproof phone pocket would be amazing too! 👍

      Hello there! Have you tried the AONIJIE's similar belts? I got the AONIJIE W938S M/L (76-88 cm), and though being smaller than my waistline of 93 cm, it bounces with one soft water bottle inside.

    I got mine a few years ago from RunningWarehouse (US). 12 different sizes allow to pick the right fit for your size since it is not adjustable. I have to mention that it should be worn bottom up with putting the feet through the belt. Apparently, some people are typing to put them on from top down. I was able to stash up to 3x500 ml soft flasks. Great belt!

  • @neilbeacher17

    I must have had mine for about 6 years now and it’s still going strong bar one very small wear in the fabric, so while it may seem expensive initially you get what you pay for.

    It's likely that offering 12 sizes increases manufacturing costs so the extra price maybe something to do with that. It's a bold strategy Cotton, let's see if it pays off for 'em. Thanks for the review!

    I absolutely love my Naked belt. I keep my phone in the back pocket and had no issues with a 500 ml drink in the front. I have found after a few months the name has started to peel off but obviously that doesn’t affect performance.

    • @Run4Adventure
      @Run4Adventure  ปีที่แล้ว

      It's a personal thing, I like my water bottle to lie flat across my stomach in the front pocket and unfortunately I can't do that with the Naked Band 🤔
      The belt would definitely run better for me with out the front divider. It's funny that you mention the letter because I got back from a run last night and my letters are peeling off already, after only two weeks! Some of the letters act as reflective details so I personally think it does affect the performance 🤔

    One of my favorite running belts. I too own dozens of belts. As others have said, if you don't size it just right it won't be a great experience. The nice thing about this belt is the super lightweight nature. Yes there are other great belts out there as well.

    I’ve had mine for 3 years and it’s been washed maybe twice a week, and other than some faded lettering it’s basically brand new!
    I also regularly carry a 500ml Salomon soft flask, plus a phone, gels and keys and have never struggled to easily fit it in. No idea why you did Loyd

    • @Run4Adventure
      @Run4Adventure  ปีที่แล้ว

      I could fit it all in Dean but I'm used to carrying my soft flask in the front pocket, flat across my stomach. Unfortunately the front divider stopped me from doing this and I think the belt would perform better with out it. When I used the pockets at the front for my soft flask it kept putting pressure on the nozzle and leaking water. I'm having the same issue with the letters now, they're peeling off after only two weeks of use! 🤔
      It's definitely a good belt but I've got at least 3 other similar belts that perform just as well but at a fraction of the cost of the Naked band Dean 👍

    • @Predazord007
      @Predazord007 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Run4Adventure My Salomon flask has a lock off which stops any leaking issue.
      Without the divider things will move around the belt and and bang together. Having had ultimate direction, Salomon and several others this has been the only belt that fits me. Perhaps it’s a body shape thing for me, horses for courses and all that

    Hi Loyd,
    Thanks for your interesting and entertaining videos.
    I have this belt since months ago, I like a lot and I can carry a few things without problems.
    The only problem with the splitted central pocket is that as the nozzle of the flasks (I can carry 2x 500 ml) is pointing to the mesh, it spreads out some liquid when they are full.
    Regarding the reflective letters you can forget about them after some months because they will detach from the mesh.
    Regards!!

    • @small_strides
      @small_strides 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, how do you carry 2x 500ml flasks? One in the front pocket and one at the back? Is there still place to store a phone, keys, gels, maybe an emergency blanket?

    • @joanh.2365
      @joanh.2365 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi,
      No, the pockets are on each side. At the height if your belly button us the separation and the flasks are on each side.
      On your back there’s another pocket where you can put the phone and a light jacket or the blanket.
      Tell me if you need more details! 😉

    One belt I'd like to throw in for the showdown is the La Sportiva „Run Belt“, maybe you can get hold of it - I actually bought it two years ago when I was struggling to find a source for the Naked Band, they really should look a bit into their European distribution. Anyway, the two stand out features of the La Sportiva belt are its low price (30€ / ~26£) and its low weight (35g, much lighter than even the Naked Band). It's very minimal with only a few features, but works perfectly well and holds up surprisingly good too.
