Welcome back to another video. In this week’s video I head back upstream in search of flathead but stumble across the honey hole of soapie jewfish. I also do a quick review on my motorguide ix5 electric motor.

Thanks for the Video, and review on your electric. A couple questions .....What size st36 treble do you upgrade your double clutch lure with? Also is anyone setting crab pots over your way yet?, just save me a trip over to the coast early and set some to soon. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the feed back and glad it helped. It usually says on the back of the packets what size treble they use but on the 95mm lures I run a size 8 st36 which is what is on them out of the packet. Theres plenty of blue swimmers to sort out in the bottom end haven’t heard of any muddys to speak off anywhere

Honestly I’ve caught jew to that size on the set up used in the video but it feels super sketchy. I typically use a atomic arrowz 10-25lb spin rod and a 5k stradic with 20lb braid for larger estuary fish
