Turn your throttle dual rate down to around 70%. Slow down and hit your marks and stay on the fast racing line while not breaking too much traction. After every 10 minute practice session or two, turn your throttle up 5%. If your consistency is anything less than 90%, turn your throttle down. Learning to drive smooth will lead to speed if you are patient. Don’t let the guys who are fishtailing wildly around turns and driving overly aggressive influence your driving - just pass them when they inevitably wreck. Racing 2wd also instills good habits and helps keep me from overdriving my ebuggy. It’s good to go back and forth IMO.
great video guys and well done on your first 1/8 buggy race Cam, that was a great result for you. looking forward to seeing your progression towards making some a mains. gg on first post!
Thank you for your support! Had to start somewhere...to me this 1/8 kit will be my ticket to bigger races down the line but for now it's all about the basics 🏁
I really enjoy the way you plan out the video, and film it with the interviews and the editing. Something I hope more RC youtubers take note of. Great video!
Your feedback means a lot, this was my first attempt at a race vlog so I am glad RC fans like yourself enjoyed! Feel free to share because there is more to come 🏁
Any tips to improve my e-buggy skills? Let me know 👇

Top-notch advice right here, thanks a million 👍 lucky for me I have a backyard track or two to practice this dual rate adjustment on.
B final was wild, A final was a master class. Both were entering to watch.
