This is a good video. It explains a way to find the sequences without guessing. I am guessing some of the downvotes came from people who tried to use this for solutions that are non-linear and got confused.
Can you make a video explaining how to do this with and increase on the x value that isnt constant because thats what all my homework is about currently and what I think every who says it didnt help ia referring to thanks

If there is an equation associated with it, there must be a pattern. The trick is to find that pattern. In some cases the pattern can be very complicated, but at this level he isn't going to show you those kinds of examples. He's starting off easy.
If your input is 0, 1, 2 then using your equation, the output must be 1, 3, 5. Notice that these outputs all go up by 2. That's due to the "2" in your equation.

This stuff is easy for me when there is only 1 number missing. My kids math teacher is giving her tables of 8 rows... only two tables have both values and they're unevenly spaced.2nd row and 7th row...while x and y are random too. It's insane. What 8th grader needs this crap?

Bee Tee in that case the rule has two steps in your case 2x +1 to get Y
