Bud Spencer, pseudonimo di Carlo Pedersoli (Napoli, 31 ottobre 1929 - Roma, 27 giugno 2016), è stato un attore, nuotatore, pallanuotista, sceneggiatore e produttore televisivo italiano.
Altezza: 1,94 m
Ha raggiunto il successo per i suoi film in coppia con Terence Hill e il duo di attori "ha ottenuto fama mondiale e ha attirato milioni di spettatori al cinema".[1] Il 7 maggio 2010 ha ricevuto il David di Donatello alla carriera.[2]
Nel nuoto è stato il primo italiano a scendere sotto il minuto nei 100 m stile libero il 19 settembre 1950,[3] e ha vinto più volte i campionati italiani di nuoto nello stile libero e nella staffetta.[4] Ha conseguito la licenza di pilota di linea e di pilota di elicottero.[5] Nel corso degli anni si è impegnato anche a sostenere e finanziare enti di beneficenza per bambini tra cui il Fondo Scholarship Spencer.

In swimming he was the first Italian to go under the minute in the 100 m freestyle on 19 September 1950, [3] and he won the Italian freestyle and relay swimming championships several times. [4] He holds the airline pilot and helicopter pilot license. [5] Over the years he has also been committed to supporting and financing children's charities including the Spencer Scholarship Fund. [6]

Sono cresciuto coi suoi film, rivederlo scatena sempre una tempesta di emozioni. Per quello che ha dato al cinema e all'arte in generale (musicista, compositore, pittore, ecc..) dovrebbero nominarlo cavaliere postumo.
Un grande italiano e un grande napoletano che ha dato lustro al suo Paese venendo amato da tutti e da intere generazioni.

I grew up watching bud and terence's movies. Even though I was little and there was very little i could understand in term of the plot i just loved watching their movies and their chemistry was top notch. Rest in peace Bud. Godspeed.

Excellent tribute # brought a tear to my eye. I looked up to Carlo Pedersoli whom I knew as Bud Spenser as a child. My most favorite movie with him is with Terenece Hill in 'Watch out We're Mad'. The two worked so well together in all their cherished films! Mr Carlo Pedersoli is greatly missed! I just wish I could read his books in English. 😔

Bud Spencer impacted my life so much through his films, he was such a talented actor, loved all the films i saw with him in. I Cant even count how many times i watched sheriff and the satellite kid/ why did you pick on me. I play and sing the Oliver Onions 'Sheriff and the satellite kid' theme song that many times, even my teenage son and my mates 9 &11yr old boys know the words and can recognize the song as it begins by just the music intro lol. And i hate to admit this but, i was wanting to stop this video before it reached bud captured at 86yrs as i felt my self get a bit emotional. As if by stopping the video at aged 85yrs somehow I stopped him from being dead. I know, i know, i'm stupid but, i can guarantee Bud will forever live on through his films for me.
