Deftones is one of my favorite bands ever, and their music honestly saved me from making some serious decisions in life that I would later regret. All their albums are at least 7/10s in my opinion and they all have personal significance for me, but if I had to rank every album, Self-Titled would be ranked lower for me, even though I still think it’s excellent. The rest of their stuff is just that good. But I can see why people dislike it, the experimental stuff on this one really isn’t for everyone. And Deathblow, one of the songs you implied you didn’t like as much, is actually my third favorite Deftones song, just behind Cherry Waves and Knife Prty. And speaking of this, have you done a Deftones tier list yet? I’m interested in how you would rank all of their albums, and some albums are more polarizing than others (Self-Titled for instance) so it’s always interesting to see the perspective of fellow fans.
“Results May Vary” is my personal favorite Limp Bizkit album. The lyrics of Underneath The Gun and Almost Over are very relatable, and what I like to listen to when I’m not having such a good day. DJ Lethal adds some cool record cuts to Lonely World and Creamer (Radio Is Dead), both really good tracks as well, not to mention quite catchy. It’s a shame they didn’t add some unreleased incredible tracks like Let It Go, Armpit, and Crack Addict to the album. I do prefer the heavier sound of Limp Bizkit, but I still appreciate the more tame and softer songs like Down Another Day, Build A Bridge, and Behind Blue Eyes. Overall, it’s an underrated record, but I totally understand why fans dislike it. Thanks for making these videos cause it helps me discover more Nu-Metal albums worth listening to!
I also really enjoy RMV, many great songs except for a few ones. Found a original vinyl copy a few months ago which I'm really happy about, super rare actually :)
Indestructible is, without question, Disturbed's best work! It really is a cut above all their other albums. It seems to the consensus favorite online, as well (at least for those with the nostalgia goggles off).

Devil Without a Cause is a fun album. It's comedic at times. In a good way. I think it sold over 10 million just in the U.S. The only problem with All Hope is Gone is some of the filler tracks. Although I do enjoy them. But the singles are great. The production is pretty good. It is heavy and I really like Corey's voice on it.
I remember only thinking that Issues was okay when it first came out even tho there were several songs I really liked. But as time went on it easily became the album with the most replay value of them all.
I’m definitely in the small percentage that Loves Self Titled. It’s probably my second favorite, I just love the whole dark and melancholy feel of the whole album
I’m a massive Disturbed Fan and Indestructible was my soundtrack in Highschool it’s also one of my favorite albums of all time I don’t think the album has a single bad song on it
Indestructible is great, the guitarist really improved a lot on that one. Believe and Ten Thousand Fists are also really good. Catchy songs, unique, maybe the only thing missing from Indestructible is a slower, quieter or more epic track like Darkness or Overburdened. Outside of that it’s just about perfect, it rocks hard from beginning to end. And for Ten Thousand Fists they could’ve cut a few tracks to tighten it up, it runs a little long at 14 tracks. And I’m not huge on Land of Confusion, although I don’t care for the original version anyway. Quite a few all time Disturbed classics on it though which makes that album rise to the top among their best. So for me it’s Indestructible #1, Ten Thousand Fists #2, and Believe #3. They were never better than on these albums.
Chimaira and Soulfly for me from this list. In a lot of ways they don't "feel" like nu-metal albums, which is probably why I like those the best. Love these ranking videos though, cheers!
Love the videos, the Converge tier list was my introduction to the channel. One thing I'd like to see, particularly with these multi-band lists, is album release year mentioned with each album. Just a personal choice to orientate myself in the musical timeline. Cheers!

Issues has always been my favorite Korn album with Untouchables close behind. Also, Just Drop Dead is a great track from Limp Bizkit's Eat You Alive single. Not sure if you've heard it, but they definitely should have put it on the album because it's way better than most of the album. By the way, your videos introduced me to Snot and now I've got "Forever" with Fred on repeat. So good! Oh, and on the Deftones one, Lovers from the Hexagram single is great too! Again, should have been on the album maybe in place of Lucky You or Anniversary...

Also, I don't take this stuff very seriously as I am a guy in his 30s who grew up during the same period and had the same tastes, so my following comment is just that: a comment. It isn't serious like the internet regulators that exist out there. I commented the other day about Dope and now I am forced (haha) to comment about Kid Rock. A? Come on man! Where is your head at? Hahaha. Kid Rock is the absolute bottom of the barrel. Dig the tier overall and love the content.
I adore the deftones self titled album but I agree that it’s their first real step down. I love all the songs exept for battle axe and I really like the directions that they go for but it just doesn’t pan out as well as their other albums. On its own it is a great album but for deftones it’s not their best.
Great video but just letting you know that the last dance is not 40 below summer's final album, it was probably meant to be but they reunited in 2011 and put out two more albums (in 2013 and 2015 respectively)
Korn-Issues was the first album of theirs where I listened to it through the entire album. I have listened to nu metal before since I have been mostly listening to bands influenced by Korn especially in the Christian community however hearing the source I was like "this is like unlike anything I've heard before". It's very experimental with grooves, atmosphere and even jazzy.
I know it's all subjective, but I would say "14 Shades of Grey" is by no means Nu Metal in the first place... hell calling Break the Cycle Nu Metal is a stretch, but sure Dysfunction was. 14 Shades of Grey is clearly alternative/hard rock. They didn't go back to their metal sound until their last album, the self titled one which is by far their best IMO. But, yeah subjectivity is the keyword here.
